Moneglia is a gorgeous place with walks on our doorstep, a safe beach a few minutes from our apartment, great dining options in town and loads of Italian charm. It’s really pretty. Our room was clean and we felt right at the heart of the area. It was also great value for money. Being in Moneglia meant an easy train to the Cinque Terre to walk the trails and Santa Margerita for a coastal stroll to Portofino, while we felt away from the crowds and in an Italian community - very happy with our holiday. I’d recommend the hotel as a good base to explore the area.
Moneglia beach, a safe lagoon of crystal clear water and golden sand.
The view from our room - the sound of the trains and the lights on the hillside made our stay memorable.
Hiked to Littorno from a path opposite the hotel and then to Lemeglio on a woodland path before heading back down to Moneglia.
