Perfect if you are thinking about doing day trips to Yosemite and/or Grants Grove in Kings Canyon. We saved money by cooking our own meals and the kitchen was very well suited. Would recommend for sure.

Yosemite Summer Vacay

Great place to stay. Easy to access, very clean, all amenities I needed were available. Close to Yosemite South. Convenient general store within walking distance.

Well Equipped, Comfortable, and Clean

This stay has more than enough space for two people to spread out, cook, lounge, and sleep. It was a perfect respite after long days of exploring Yosemite. The bed was very comfortable! I would stay here again

A lovely stay

Easy entry to south end of Yosemite, being able to do laundry was so nice! The bed was very comfy and we grilled 2 nights. Really enjoyed our 4 nights…The garbage policy was a bit confusing and a couple steak knives would have been appreciated.

Perfect for a Yosemite trip

We booked this last minute for a 3 day Yosemite trip. It was just what we needed. Clean, close to the park entrance and quiet. Laundry in unit was a plus for washing our hiking clothes. And the views from the balcony were beautiful yet private. Couldn’t recommend it more!

Great Location

This is a great location to the southern entrance of Yosemite! It takes less than 5 minutes to get to the entrance. The condo was clean and just the right size for two-three people. Notice, there is no dishwasher. Quiet location. Vacasa was quick to respond to questions we had.

The apartment looked exactly how it was shown with a nice fully stocked kitchen with new appliances, however there isn’t a dishwasher. The kitchen was open to the living area and balcony with plenty of daylight. The bedroom had a good sized closet and the bed was comfortable. The location was only 5 minutes from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park and 15 minutes to downtown Oakhurst, where we purchased groceries. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic spot that ended up being the perfect home base for our 4 days in Yosemite. Had everything we needed including full kitchen, laundry, internal AC, and even an EV charger which was perfect for our EV rental. Location is less than 3 miles from south entrance to Yosemite, but don’t let that fool you. If you’re not out the door before 8pm you’ll be stuck in traffic waiting for over an hour, up to even 2. Love that it’s a duplex. Would stay in it again!

Great short term rental

The home was very clean and had a well equipped kitchen. We cooked several meals while staying in the home and ut was great to have pots and pans you can actually cook in, which is not the case in my experience. The one downside would be the location if your plan is to visit Yosemite. It is only 4 minutes from the gate but it is about an hour drive to the valley floor. It is about 30 minutes to Glacier point. Even though I was not exited about all the driving back and forth the home made up for most of it. I would stay here again.

Very frustrating check-in, poor bathroom design

Accessing the unit at check-in was very frustrating, had to wait on hold for support and then when connected they couldn't find the first of two entry codes for a while, the bare minimum you'd expect of a rental property is to access it after a very long drive. Watch your head in the bathroom, vanity juts out over the sink which makes brushing/washing uncomfortable. Back door lock only locks if you position it carefully, check before you leave for the day.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us, Hana. We’re glad you chose to stay with us and appreciate you bringing these important details to our attention. We understand how frustrating it must have been to encounter difficulties accessing the unit at check-in, especially after a long drive. Waiting on hold and experiencing delays with entry codes is certainly not the seamless arrival we aim to provide, and we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience this caused. Additionally, we appreciate your feedback about the bathroom vanity and the back door lock, as these are important safety and comfort considerations that we take seriously. Please know that we have forwarded your concerns to our local team so they can address these issues promptly and work towards improving the overall guest experience. Your feedback helps us ensure that future guests have a smoother and more comfortable stay. We truly value your understanding and hope you will consider staying with us again. We would love the opportunity to provide you with a stay that better meets your expectations and reflects the quality service we strive to deliver.

Disliked: Check-in
Check-in was unnecessarily complicated, first entry code was not included in text instructions and after waiting on hold to speak with an agent (late night after a very long drive), it took ages for the agent to find the first code we needed. Back door lock and water filter both need replacing, vanity cabinet in bathroom juts out too far

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that check-in was frustrating, especially after a long day of travel. We understand how important a smooth arrival is and regret the delay in providing the correct entry code. We're reviewing our communication process to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We also appreciate you pointing out the maintenance concerns with the back door lock, water filter, and bathroom vanity—these have been noted and will be addressed by our team. Thank you again for sharing your experience so we can continue improving.
