Cozy cabin at the doorstep of Yosemite. Very quaint . If you’re looking for a comfortable cabin with access to Yosemite directly down the road, this is your spot. It is right off the main road and close to the general store as well. Highly recommended.

Thanks for staying over the holiday! You are welcome back anytime!
Absolutely charming cabin with everything you need. close proximity to Yosemite comfy bed kitchen indoor bathroom gas grill jacuzzi (added bonus)We loved our time here
Cute and cozy cabin that we enjoyed staying in with our dog for the weekend. Loved the proximity to Yosemite, and how quiet and secluded it was. The hot tub and the stone shower room were great! The only thing that was a little surprising was that the place looked a little disheveled/unkempt (dirty floors, stuff on the dishes, things scattered about the yard). Looks like it could use a deep clean inside and yard clean up. Otherwise everything was comfortable.

Thank you for staying with us and for highlighting what you enjoyed, including the quiet setting, proximity to Yosemite, the hot tub, and the stone shower.
We’d like to provide a bit of seasonal context for future guests regarding your comments about the yard. Your stay took place during early spring, while our mountain property was in the middle of a massive snow melt after a very snowy winter, with snow still on the ground during your visit. During that time of year, the natural landscape can look a bit rough as everything thaws out and is waking up from winter, which is typical for our area.
We also take cleanliness very seriously. The cabin was professionally cleaned and inspected immediately before your arrival, and I personally checked in as well.
Had any issues been brought to our attention during your stay, we would have gladly addressed them right away, they were not.
We’re always happy to receive constructive feedback, but we do want future guests to know that our home is a cozy mountain cabin in a natural setting, and seasonal outdoor conditions can vary depending on the time of year. We’re glad you were comfortable overall and enjoyed many of the special features of the property.
Great location, well positioned for Yosemite and other adventures.

Quaint retreat tucked into the woods. Came up to celebrate my 55th and ended spending the entire time at the property to relax and disconnect. After learning the history of the accomodation it was very intriguing to learn but answered a lot of curiosities we had about the cabin. The owners did a wonderful job converting it into a cozy retreat. We enjoyed our stay and the hospitality of the hosts. They were very good in communicating and responding.
Adorable, comfortable home in quiet, wooded neighborhood just minutes Yosemite South Gate and close to amenities in Fish Camp and Oakhurst. We enjoyed a relaxing stay. The home was well stocked and in-context instructions/pointers were thoughtfully provided throughout. Our dog especially appreciated being greeted by a welcome basket with things to sniff!

About the host
Hosted by Jessica DeMartin
I have lived in Fish Camp since 2013, and the Yosemite area since 1996. Drawn here as a little girl to be a rock climber on the awe inspiring cliffs of Yosemite Valley. I returned here in 1996 as a local summer camp director, and nature guide in Yosemite, and later worked as an EMT and R.N. for Yosemite National Park and Yosemite Search and Rescue. Out of all my world travels, this is my favorite place. I now live on the East Side of the Sierra, with my husband, Dave, our 2 dogs, and cat. We operate a mountain guide company.
