Walking out to the back patio you will find the fully fenced yard with a wonderful hot tub under the pines, a regulation sized horseshoe pit, a bbq grill, and a chiminea to keep your toes warm as you watch the stars go by.

You will be just minutes from I-17 and I-40, and surrounded by a reputable variety of dining and shopping options. The Arizona Snowbowl is a quick half-hour drive, and offers world class skiing at a family friendly resort. One of the seven Wonders of the World, the Grand Canyon, is just over an hour’s drive north, providing some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. A multitude of activities are also available at the Canyon, including helicopter rides, donkey rides and hiking.

Amazing Place to Stay

  • 5 of 5

Perfect place to stay close to flagstaff and have enough space and comfort for the whole group. Everything we needed was at the cabin. Would love to stay there again on our next flagstaff trip. The game room was a great location on the first floor where all the noise wouldn't be heard in the upper levels. I recommend this place to anyone with a larger group of people looking for a place to stay close to Flagstaff.

Reviewer Comments:

Great location for our large group to prepare for a Grand Canyon rafting expedition. We only spent one night here, but the house was spacious enough to accommodate 16 people, 5 vehicles, and lots of rafting gear. The management company was friendly, quick to respond to inquiries, and very easy to work with!

Reviewer Comments:

The moment we arrived could not get in garage and had much difficulty getting in lock box. The house was dirty and there were dog hairs on the stair case, you did not disclose the I40 freeway noise or the one way street with no parking. There were no screens on the sliders or some windows, cobwebs and moths in the window sills. Upstairs bedroom was full of rat droppings under small couch. The upstairs bathroom sink was broken and the shower on the middle floor did not work. Kitchen stove was dirty, the fan over the dining table did not work and bulbs were burnt out. Mosquito infested wheelbarrow over back fence and the over all experience was very unpleasant, but because we had family in the area we were so happy that we didn't have to entertain here. I am also sending pictures via email to you, VRBO and yelp.

Owner's Response: This guest had only nice things to say about the house during their stay. In fact, on the morning of their departure they sent us an email stating that they had no problems at the home. But, after being confronted with smoking cigarettes in our home, on the property and in the hot tub they suddenly became very unhappy. Our cleaning service found smoked cigarettes and tobacco in the hot tub as well as cigarette trash and wet soggy cigarettes in the hot tub filter. For guests that don't smoke this is unacceptable and takes extra effort to remove the smell. Our rental agreement and listing is clear that this is a non-smoking home but when this guest was charged an extra cleaning fee and extra hot tub cleaning fee they decided to make things up in a review instead of take responsibility. The guest did indeed have trouble getting into the home, which is a very easy process that none of our other guests ever have problems with. Then they lost our key and were charged for having to replace the key which is a very common practice. Our Arrival Information states very clearly that there is no on-street parking but with driveway space for 6 cars I'm confused as to why this would be an issue. It's likely that this group had more guests than they disclosed. Our homes are professionally cleaned after every stay and while this is an older home our service ensures that everything is working properly. In fact, this guest broke the handle to the bathroom sink during their stay and we had to have it fixed. The shower and sink both work great. The fan over the dining room table indeed does not operate. This is because the circuit has been removed and the switch is even labeled. The light works great and we always replace burnt out bulbs during our cleanings. If a light bulb burns out during a guest stay there are always extras that are conveniently located and even labeled. We would never rent to this guest again.

Reviewer Comments:

The house is great and large enough for a big group. While A/C is not usually necessary in Flagstaff and is certainly NOT standard in homes in the area, note that this one does not have it. We were visiting during an act of God heat wave and certainly needed AC - the reason for my lower ratings. The heat made the top floor very uncomfortable and made cooking in the 88 degree kitchen impossible.

Owner's Response: We are so surprised at the poor star rating of this review! This guest even told us in an email that they loved the house and that it was the "best house we have ever rented"!! It seems that the 2 stars should be attributed only to nature but not to this beautiful home! Flagstaff is not usually as warm as during this stay but even so there are venting fans to draw cool air into the home in the evening and other guests have been very comfortable, even during that unusually warm period. We even supplied several extra space fans to try to make things more comfortable! It's disappointing that the temperature outdoors can bring down an otherwise great experience, however we are very grateful for your visit and hope that you'll consider us for your next trip to Northern Arizona, maybe for the fall colors!!
