You will find a spacious outdoor patio, with an amazing grill/ bar top area, a very large spa, and a cozy seated fire area to lounge around. Inside offers a gourmet kitchen, fit for any chef! Spacious living areas, a theater room and plenty of amenities to keep you as entertained as you would like.

When the home is not being rented, it is a second home for our family. During our stay we often bring our dogs. We work diligently to ensure the home is spotless, but with any pet we can't be 100% certain we are able to retrieve all pet hair or dander. If you have an allergy to pets, please be aware that dogs frequently visit the property.

Additionally, there are two exterior cameras on the property to help us monitor security while the home is vacant.

We came to Flagstaff for my mother’s 90th Birthday and to see our brand new twin baby grandchildren. This house was an exceptional place to rent. It is a perfect home. We were comfortable and relaxed the whole time. The house has rooms for family to escape. The backyard is absolutely beautiful and the hot tub and fire pit were incredible. Also, Joe was helpful and quick to respond when I had a question. I would definitely rent this place again. Wonderful!

Great family retreat

The home is lovely and has great amenities like the firepit and hot tub. The neighborhood is extremely quiet and the proximity to the airport was very convenient. The property manager was extremely helpful and available to promptly answer our questions. I highly recommend this property

Joe’s house was perfect for our snowboarding group! It was beautiful, clean, cozy, and had everything we needed. We felt right at home! The hot tub was a huge plus after a long day at Snowbowl. Highly recommend.

Halloween Trip

The house and area were amazing. Close to downtown Flagstaff and a nice pumpkin patch that my 3 year old loved. The house was great and everything inside worked. The movie/entertainment room was nice to hang out in. The only odd thing is that the master bedroom and additional downstairs bedroom have a small 4 foot opening that connects each bedroom so that you can see each others bedroom from your own. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Wedding

The house was beautiful and comfortable and had everything we needed. The owner was very prompt in answering all of my questions. Since the upstairs media room does not have ceiling fans, it could have used a portable fan to keep it cooler. It was a great place to stay to accommodate my family and friend's for my daughter's wedding at the Arboretum. Thank you so much!

Family reunion

Overall the house was perfect for us however it did have its quirks. The master bedroom has another bedroom attached to it with no door between them. We also found that we could not use hot tub as it was dirty and the outdoor grill had no propane. The kitchen was perfect and we had plenty of room for all of us. All in all we had a great week and lots of fun.

Hi Steven, I really wished you had contacted us, we would have been happy to talk you through how to turn on the grill. The grill, and the outdoor fire pit are on a central gas line, their is a shutoff valve on the rear patio of the home and under the grill, you need to verify both are open for the grill to work. These instructions are also outlined in our welcome binder located on the kitchen counter. We will speak with our hot tub service company regarding the condition of the hot tub. Sincerely, Joe

Perf for lots of people

Lovely modern clean. Not need to even leave with spacious living room, mini living room upstairs, 6 footlong firepit surrounded by comfy chairs and huge spotless hot tub. Notes: neighbors backyards formed pie-shaped slices in the back but never saw neighbors. make sure to preheat hot tub as it takes a while and main bedroom has an attached 2nd bedroom with no door btwn so if a couple wants privacy don't take the main.

Big House

Huge house w a fabulous kitchen. Large island, tons of dishes and cookware. High end gas stove and double ovens. Great place to cook with your family. Hot tub is large and fits lots of folks. The heating system is strange. I froze in the master bedroom downstairs but the kids broiled upstairs. Asked the owner if there was a trick but never heard back.

Hi Michelle, I’m sorry we never received any message from you regarding anything the HVAC. The trick is to keep it balanced so the upstairs doesn’t boil and the downstairs stay moderate. The home is very well Insulated and holds temperature incredibly well. If you over heat the upstairs you would need to vent it by opening windows for a short amount of time. Joe

Nice house just Needs a deep cleaning

I had planned to stay 2 nights but left a day early. I have to say this is a nice home but it’s definitely needing some deep cleaning. It shows run down on floors, base, carpet, door tracks. We wanted to use the hot tub and that’s why I rented this place but the water was cloudy and not filled up all the way. Not hot, We ended up staying with friends that had a pool and hot tub because of this and only stayed 1 night. The refrigerator, doorways and stone floors/ grout were all really dirty. Huge pile of dirt in garage doorway door tracks had dirt and hair when you walk in. These are big deals to me as a customer staying in a place & May not be to Others so I say this with understanding that. Again it’s a nice house but bothered me. If the owner focused on some deep cleanings and getting the hot tub addressed this would be a great house. Thanks

Wonderful home

We had a wonderful time at Joe’s home. It was clear the property is a home, not just a vacation rental. The location was perfect for us: close to NPX, downtown Flag, groceries stores & restaurants. There is a little walking path in the neighborhood that we explored one day & the kids loved feeling like they were in the pines. The main living space had plenty of seating for us all, with good quality furniture. The fire pit, hot tub & bbq were all really nice as well. The layout of the rooms downstairs is a little quirky: the primary bedroom with a king bed is open to a secondary bedroom with a queen bed. There is no way to fully close the rooms from each other so that’s worth considering when you’re determining if the bedroom arrangement will work for your group. We loved the s’mores kit too. That was a nice touch. The kitchen is large & well equipped. The house had everything we needed & we would definitely stay here again.

Great house

This is a beautiful, incredibly well appointed house in a great location. The only complaint we have is the master bedroom was freezing compared to the rest of the house! The layout was also slightly funky - there is an opening in the wall between the master and another dow stairs bedroom with no way to close it off. It worked out fine for us, we just put our three year old in there. But overall this house was amazing, there was a great fire pit, the hot tub was fun for the kids, the movie room was a hit, it’s truly a great house to rent!

With the pandemic many changes impacted all of us. For my family it meant my aging parents needed to be closer to family. They sold their home in Reno, NV to be closer to family in the valley. However, during the summer months the heat can be a bit too much for them. Hence why they purchased this home. It is their second home and brings them immense joy and relaxation.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

When we purchased this home, we were seeking to create an amazing retreat that had all of the amenities that are important to us. We built a giant outdoor patio, installed a custom grill and bar top area, a large outdoor seating area with a large gas fire pit, and a spa to relax in after a day of hiking, biking, or skiing. The kitchen and gas cooktop are a dream to cook on, it even has an interior gas grill if you want to forego the outdoor bbq.

The entire home has high speed WiFi (top speed upstairs is close to 1gbps if plugged in), a home office with two desks, external monitors with keyboards and mouse. They are ready to plug and play with your laptop if need be. The upstairs theater room is sound proof, amazingly so, our two boys will often play in that room with the door shut and we cannot hear a peep.

The neighbors and neighborhood are second to none! We cannot speak highly enough about them, everyone in the community is warm caring, inviting, and generous people.
