Welcome to our cherished family vacation home, where we’ve created countless memories over the years. Now, as our kids have grown, we’re excited to share this special place with you and your family.
*Please note in the summer (July & August) we require a week booking minimum - thank you for your understanding* Recently Renovated & Updated

Our 2,000 sq ft. bungalow features modern updates and offers ample space for a comfortable stay. With 4 queen-sized beds and a kids’ room with bunk beds, it’s perfect for families. Upstairs:
* Master Bedroom: Queen bed
* Kids’ Room: Bunk beds (single on top, double on bottom)
* Bathroom: 4-piece (sink, toilet, tub/shower)
* Living Area: Kitchen and living room with Smart Samsung TV

Downstairs:
* Family Room: Large couch and Smart Samsung TV for movie nights
* Bedrooms: Three queen bedrooms with dressers
* Bathroom: Shower, sink, and toilet
* Laundry Room: HE front loader washer and dryer, second fridge

Additional Areas & Amenities:
* Large Deck: Wrap-around balcony with stunning lake views, BBQ area
* Backyard: Spacious for kids to play, includes a fire pit
* Driveway: Ample parking, basketball hoop, space for boat or sea-doo
* Location: Just five houses up from the lake, offering beautiful views and easy access. Close to the best golf courses and skiiing/snowboarding in the Winter!

Rental Details:
* Primary Renter: Must be at least 28 years old
* Prime Season (July & August): Prefer long-term rentals over weekends
* Damage Policy: Any damage will be deducted from the deposit; renters are responsible for additional costs
* Requirements: As we have a minimum age required for the primary renter, a valid photo ID is required to book. We also require agreement to all property rules as part of booking.

Windermere Vacation

We enjoyed our stay. The property is well cared for and it shows. It was perfect for my family of four adults and 2 children( 8 and 2) The beach was within walking distance. And a nice yard for the kids to play. Communication with the host was good. Would definitely recommend!

A great property, long process to rent

It is a great family house, excellent location and well appointed. The check in process was long as the home owner had his own contract, additional requirements including a video call before letting me know how to get into the house. A great rental but a lot of hoops to jump through.

This is an excellent property that is clean and perfect for a family. The yard could use some TLC, specifically the firepit area, but the short walk to beach is hard to beat! Great option for a family trip in Windermere.

Fantastic house for families and kids

We were completely satisfied with our stay in Windermere. We travelled with another family and were 4 adults and 4 kids (age 9-13) in total. The kids (two boys and two girls) were thrilled that everyone got to sleep in bunk beds. One adult couple upstairs and one downstairs. The location could not have been better, as we spent time each day at the beach two blocks away. The house was well-supplied with anything you'd need to prepare and eat meals, and the owners had a good supply of board games and water toys to keep everyone happy. We can't wait to book again the next time we come to Windermere!

Amazing Visit

We will book again. This property was immaculate and spacious. Everything we needed all week for cooking and cleaning was there and supplies were plentiful. Check in was easy. Short walk to the beach, beautiful views from the patio.

We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect, very comfortable and well appointed. We had 7 adults with 4 often in the kitchen together and it was easy to move around. The location couldn't have been better, quiet and not too far from town. Peter was very helpful and responsive. Would definitely recommend the property to others.

This property needs cleaning and maintenance

While there we cleaned out both bathroom fans, unplugged the filters of the air conditioner, repaired one chair by gluing and putting in a screw, the inside and outside windows were very dirty, we reset the ballcock in the main floor bathroom to stop the water from running continually, repaired top bunk frame, cleared out hornet nest, tightened pot handles, all to make our stay better. We did not clear the cobwebs from the fan and light fixtures and ceiling, patio umbrella is unusable, 2 of the four screws holding up the DR light fixture are missing,, only 4 rolls of tp and 2 of the 6 bottles of water and no soap for shower were vailable, picnic table rotting and uneven, generally dusty. With all of this said, the layout was good and proximity to the beach was also good. The room set up worked for our family of 10. I would not recommend this location until maintenance and cleaning was thoroughly done. Windemere itself was a great location and we had lots of fun at the lake.

The property satisfied our needs and expectations. The house was clean. Some of the amenities were a little dated. To date, after completing our visit 10 days ago, we have still not received our damage deposit. VRBO Is quick to charge for the use but seems slow to refund the damage deposit.

Great place to stay

Thanks a lot to the owner and his property as it was great place to stay! There were 6 of us celebrating New Year getaway in the mountains. There is everything you need in the house - bedding, nice spacious kitchen, all the utensils, full propane tanks, etc. Very close to the lake where we were drifting a bit and skating. Panorama ski resort, Radium and Fairmont hot springs are both 20 minutes drive. We were happy to go with this house. Hope to visit it again one day! Thank you, Peter!

Why they chose this property

Very quaint, quiet, and charming area, that’s close to the lake. We are 5 houses up from the Windermere public beach - and just down from the Windermere Family Pantry grocery and alcohol store, Whitehouse Pub, POW Pizza. Hopkins Harvest is just down the road and offers fresh fruit, vegetables, homemade pizza, sandwiches, coffee and ice cream. Mini golf and Bumper cars are within walking distance. Easy access to the highway - a short drive to most places you’d want to visit!

What makes this property unique

Our property is unique for its prime location in the safe and quiet Village of Windermere. With ample bedrooms, it’s perfect for families. We’re just five houses up from the beach, offering easy access to lake activities as well as many golf courses within the Windermere/Invermere area, and Panorama Ski Resort in the Winter months is a mere 27 minutes' drive.
