My gorgeous house with everything you need to enjoy a few days in Nashville! But the best part - Only mins to downtown! Only about an $6 Uber or Lyft ride to the entertainment district!
SORRY. No Bachelor or Bachelorette Parties!!!
Has 4 Master Retreats, 3 of the Retreats have wet-bars with mini fridge and dining areas and all have sitting areas and 42' Flat Screen TV's. Each bedroom has its own bath!!
Living room has a sleeper sofa (memory foam!)
2 covered porches and also a roof top terrace with a great view of the downtown skyline especially at night!!
To get downtown, you have many choices:
- Walk 2 blocks to the Music City Circuit stop (free downtown bus service from 6AM - 6PM)
- Take a 25 minute walk (My favorite! Along the way browse Farmers Market, then checkout Bicentennial park, then take the capital steps up to the State capital building(check out the view!), then on to War Memorial Plaza and your downtown! Just a short walk down Church St to the entertainment district, and you have to walk out on the pedestrian bridge over the Cumberland River just for the view of Nashville!!
- Take a $6 Lift or Uber ride (Second best choice!!)
- Less than 2 mile drive ( but parking will cost you..especially on the busy weekends!)
Great restaurants nearby:

Farmers Market - Multiple eating establishments!! to many to list but a few of my favorites are:

B & C Market BBQ - Southern BBQ done right!!
I will do my best to provide a great place to stay while you are in Nashville! I am a single Dad with 2 great kids off to college! I built this home last year and love living near downtown Nashville. I am an avid walker and most weeks put in 15 to 20 miles just walking from my home to the Historical Germantown area, Bicentennial Mall State Park, Farmers Market, State Capital, Legislative Plaza, TPAC, then on to Lower Broad, 2nd Ave, and Riverfront park where all the honky tonks are located! That total distance is just a little over 2 miles each way.
I was in the USAF and Tennessee Air Guard for 13 years where i was a navigator on C-130's. After my military life i became a General Contractor and started my own business. After being in the country for so long i decided to try the city life. I bought a vacant lot in this historical overlay district and loved it. I do love this neighborhood.
I also love to hike the mountains! I have summed 3 12,000 foot peaks in the Rockies and last summer my son and I summed 14,254 foot Long's Peak in Rocky Mountain National Park. I must admit - it kicked my ass ... but wow!... what a view! Leaves no doubt there is a God! I also love to kayak and travel. But the best times are with the kids. We love to play strategy board games..Settlers of Catan, Acquire, and Cashflow. I love Axis and Allies, but its hard to get them to play that! I also play in a Texas holdem Poker League...for points...not for cash!
UPDATE: That's my first grandbaby...Walt....Born 19 November 2012!!
Richard Goddard purchased this house in 2012
This is a new house I designed and built. All the suites are soundproofed between each unit, and each unit has its own lockable door. The big plus is that its only about $6 taxi fare to the downtown entertainment district or 2 blocks over to the Music City Circuit stop (free downtown loop bus service 6AM thru 6PM), or 25 min walk!
No Taxes..No Cleaning Fees..No Deposit.
But take care of my home!!!

New Home just completed in May 2012 - 4 Bedrooms full kitchen, open Living room and Dining area. Master bedroom suite on 3rd floor with roof top terrace and a great skyline view of downtown Nashville, whirlpool tub, and cathedral ceilings! There is also a half bath on the living area floor. Kitchen has full refrigerator, oven, microwave, and dishwasher. Two covered porches! Living room has 70' 3D TV with full satellite channels including HBO, Cinemax, and Showtime.
Come and go as you please. Beautiful new house is just 2 blocks to Bicentennial Mall State Park and Farmers Market, and just a few more blocks to Germantown restaurants and downtown Nashville.
Perfect for four couples or small families!
We''d definitely book this property again!
This place was a perfect place to stay in Nashville. Very clean. Helpful owner. I would recommend to anyone!
Richard's house has everything you will need and more. We had three couples and stayed four days and would definitely rent the house again. It had everything we expected and more and the location was perfect. The attention to detail in this house is amazing, with each couple having their own suite in addition to the great common area. We also spend a lot of time one the large porch off if the living room.
This was a great find for our road trip to Nashville with 4 couples! Location was perfect and the house is gorgeous and comfortable for everyone! Next trip I would definitely book this again!!
Meticulously maintained house close to bustling Nashville! The house rivals the Four Seasons Hotels. Every possible thing you need from Kerig coffee makers in every suite, stocked baths and kitchens, nicely appointed furnishings throughout. Our annual get-a-way was in Nashville for the first time- Our group of gals were able to enjoy good rest and sleeping(comfy beds!) to lots of time gathered on the balconies -We come from 4 different states and we love our "catching up" and coffee time above all! We do suggest reg. TAXI w/a larger group..after Day #2 we found a large UBER SUBURBAN was charging us(there were 7 of us) twice as much as a SUV taxi to Broadway. This would NOT be issue w/smaller group. less than 10 minutes to town. The owner provides good instructions and suggestions of places to dine. I would suggest this house to any groups, families or a few couples!
There are several levels and steps in the home, so not for people that have issues with this! GREAT EXPERIENCE!
Less than 5 mins to the downtown entertainment district, Music city Center, Ryman auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, Schemerhorn Symphony Hall, TPAC, Country Music Hall of Fame, etc!!
