A wonderful family holiday in a beautiful Villa

My husband, 3 children and myself had a wonderful week at the villa. The villa is very spacious and luxurious and is located in a peaceful area. Davidé was very welcoming and took his time to show us where everything was and how things worked. We took the train to Rome as recommended and it worked well even with 3 young children. My family and I had the most wonderful holiday and would highly recommend staying here as a base to visit the sights of Italy.

Our holiday stay at Villa Rosa

We had a wonderful time. The property is clean and very spacious. Deco is of very high standards. Its easy access to Rome. Host Davide was friendly and available to help. We even got free eggs every morning from Davide's chickens . The property has everything you need. It was lovely to sit outside and to enjoy a family BBQ. There are nearby very good eating places and supermarkets. One would need a car to get by as villa is in a remote but very serene and peaceful country side location. We will definitely go back

Beautiful countryside location

Our family loved this villa! It was spacious, beautifully appointed, gourmet kitchens, beautiful outdoor areas for relaxing both in the sun and under covered patios. It was in the countryside so we enjoyed our trips to Rome during the day (even loving the train ride from the Saxa Rubra train station into the center of Rome) and then the drive back to the villa to the peacefulness and quite of the area. Our two families of 8 each had their own privacy on the two separate floors with the separate living quarters upstairs and downstairs. Our children enjoyed playing in the gardens and enjoying the water fountains. We would definitely recommend this villa and the location as it was close to A-1 for touring into the adjoining areas.

Retired from California and went to build our family dream home in the northern province of Rome in the countryside. Designed and furnished our home with family and friends in mind to enjoy the outdoors and coziness of indoors. We loved planning for outdoor seating areas to enjoy the gardens and the outdoor patio to enjoy the unencumbered starry nights, alongside building an outdoor wood burning pizza forno to expand our pizza making culinary delights. Our sights were on planting a small vineyard to include in the landscaping plans and then it blossomed from there to have a small cantina to attempt wine making, although not yet perfected!

Why they chose this property

Retired American bought this country property and built a gem. We built this 2 story villa for our family to enjoy the beauty of the countryside of Rome and plant a small, boutique vineyard, along with rose gardens in the front and back of the house. The rooms are spacious, garden views, well maintained, lovely outdoor seating areas and large balcony on the upper level and covered patio with DCS American gas BBQ on the lower level for outdoor seating and entertaining.

What makes this property unique

Beautifully appointed villa, landscaping and gardens artfully created and roses galore! Quality granite counters, travertine patio floor and Versace tile flooring, gourmet kitchens, fireplaces upstairs and downstairs. Crown molding throughout living room areas, 3600 sq. ft. of living space upstairs and downstairs. Beautiful wood cabinetry throughout the villa. The owner has created a small, boutique winery and the villa overlooks the vineyard.
