Our home dates back to the late 1800s and was beautifully restored in 2005. We've preserved many of its historic features, including original flooring and other charming details, while incorporating the modern comforts you want for a relaxing stay.

Each bedroom has its own personality, and the home provides plenty of space for everyone to spread out, gather together, or simply relax.

We take great pride in keeping our home exceptionally clean, comfortable, and welcoming.

Sixth Bedroom — Bonus Room

Five bedrooms are located in the main house. The sixth bedroom is a seasonal bonus room above the detached garage, providing additional sleeping space and privacy for larger groups.

•Please note:

Bonus room is included with bookings of 12 or more adults
At least 2 adults must occupy the bonus room
Groups of fewer than 12 may request the bonus room for an additional fee
The bonus room is available Spring through Fall
There is no bathroom in the bonus room
It is a short walk from the main house

If you have fewer than 12 guests but would like to guarantee the bonus room, please contact us regarding the additional fee.

•Parking

Private driveway parking is available for up to 6 vehicles.

Please note that off-street parking is not permitted under city ordinance.

•Maximum Occupancy | No Events

Our home is intended for overnight guests and small gatherings of the guests staying at the property.

Parties and events are not permitted.

The maximum number of people allowed on the property at any time is 16, including overnight guests and daytime visitors.

A few daytime visitors are welcome, but the total number of people on the property may never exceed 16.

Pets are welcome with prior approval.

Pets must remain on the main level or in the basement
A pet gate is available if needed
Guests are responsible for cleaning up after their pets

The host requires you complete the following before checking out:

Load and start the dishwasher

Strip any used beds and gather used towels

Remove personal items and take out the trash

Turn off the lights, lock the doors, and return the keys

Wash a full load of towels, distribute into both dryers, strip bonus room sheets and start in washer. Wash all cooking pans by hand and start the dishwasher.

Set the thermostat to 72°F for air conditioning or 68°F for heat. Close all windows and make sure exterior doors are locked. Turn off all lights, both indoor and outdoor.

Please return household items to their original locations, make sure you leave the home as you found it and text us when you have checked out.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Only 6 vehicles allowed per booking and all must park in driveway. No off street parking, as required by the city for licensing.

Pets need prior approval. Guests must disclose the number of pets they will be bringing at the time of booking so the correct pet fee can be applied.

A contract must be completed before entering the property and include all guest names and vehicle plate numbers, as required by the city for licensing

Gorgeous home, wonderful stay

We stayed a week in this beautiful home, with our children and grandchildren. It had everything we needed to make this a true vacation. The kitchen and bathrooms were better equipped than my own, and my grandkids (9 and 11) said the beds were the most comfortable they had ever slept in.

Family wedding weekend

The home was beautifully decorated and had very comfortable living spaces. Each of the bathrooms had plenty of towels as well as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap. The beds were all very comfortable. The view of the river and bridge were gorgeous.

We are married with grown children so we call that 'empty nested'. We love the St Croix River, Stillwater and general area. We enjoy boating and usually stay on our boat most of the warm weather season so our house is vacant and available at least 6 months out of the year. We decided to rent out vs. sell until we decide what we would like to do next. It is a big house for just the two of us so we decided to try VRBO since it is a nationally known site and introduces our home to more parties.
