Our cabin is centrally located between Mazama and Winthrop. We are less than 1/2 mile to the Methow Valley Community Trail. Our favorite thing to do is walk or bike on the Community Trail to the Mazama Country Store (about 3 miles) or Kelly's at the Rolling Huts (about 1 mile) to catch up on the local happenings.
Our cabin is new and in great condition. It includes 1300 square ft. 2-story, 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom cabin with a sleeping loft. The main floor has an open living/eating/full kitchen, which is perfect for gatherings. There is also a master bedroom, common bathroom, and laundry area on the main floor. Great cabin in wonderful location
Great location to the trails that we like to ski. It is a little cooler near Mazama so we think the skiing is better than Winthrop. The kitchen is will supplied with dishes, pans and even some spices and oil.
Blue Pine Quest House - Mazama
Lovely place to stay in Mazama. Lots of light, views out to the forest, clean, well stocked kitchen, comfy chairs and sofa, reading lights, quiet. Close to the ski trails. Bryan was always quick to respond to my emails, very accommodating with our schedule. Even had a nice bottle of red wine waiting for us. Would highly recommend this rental.
Lovely spotless and comfortable cabin in the Methow
Blue Pine Guest House offered all the right amenities, configuration and options for our group of 3 adults and 2 kids in a clean space. The loft space provided a welcome retreat and extra location for setting up accommodating a fold out, complete with TV and games and the spacious entryway caught all of the dust from our gear and shoes. The beds were comfortable and washer and dryer a plus. We would highly recommend to others and consider returning next time we visit.
Great spot, beautiful home, comfortable and relaxing. Good base camp for many outdoor options
Had a great few days exploring the Methow valley and unplugging from technology. The kids loved ice skating in Winthrop, tubing at Loup Loup, and playing in the snow. The grown-ups enjoyed the quiet location (and also tubing and skating). We will definitely look to stay here again next winter break.
Great location and accommodation. Kitchen included several baking dishes (we made apple crisp and brownies) and lots of pans It even included a large grill for the morning fresh toast. We hope to stay again. Internet connection is limited, but it was a good way to limit screen time.
Blue Pine Guest House - How I miss you
Quick background - We (a couple and one friend) came to the Methow Valley for the first time to xc ski for 6 days and 7 nights.
First, I have to state that communicating with Bryan was a breeze. He was kind, informative and helpful, and he responded quickly to all inquiries. In other words, he was/is the perfect host.
Secondly, I appreciate a clean, nay spotless, comfortable, up to date and an aesthetically pleasing home. I never felt as comfortable in a "rental" house as I did here. I felt like I was staying in a friend's house who went on vacation and gave me full access to his/her place. The attention to detail was super. The kitchen was insanely well stocked with the exception of a salad spinner, but nothing a dish towel can't handle. It has quality pots, pans, dishes, glasses, utensils, among other things and most importantly sharp knives. Yes! someone who understands the need for sharp knives. The beds, the showers, the fireplace, the wall of windows, the view...everything was great. We loved the location in the woods and the accessibility to all the ski trails and the towns of Winthrop and Mazama. We literally spent all day every day skiing the various trails, which is what we came to do and succeeded. I cannot wait to come back to this beautiful valley and stay in this charming home. Thanks for helping make our winter vacation a memorable one Bryan.
Janet! It was a pleasure hosting you and I look forward to welcoming you back again soon. Thanks for letting us know about the salad spinner. We didn't realize it was missing and will replace it right away!
