  • Amazing Riverfront Home with private hot tub and pool!

"My family returned to Ali's Fishing lodge for a second time in August 2016 and the view was even better than we'd remembered!! We have been vacationing in Eastern Washington every summer for the past ten years (usually in Chelan/Manson), and nothing compares to this gorgeous and peaceful setting on the river. We were able to comfortably fit 10 adults (when all the grandparents came for a few nights) and 6 kids for our week long stay. We loved the warm weather, the beautiful surroundings and the fact that it is such a private setting is a huge plus! The kids loved the pool, the hot tub, and jumping into and floating/swimming in the river. The bunk beds provide enough space for all the kids to rest at night and there are four other comfortable bedrooms as well. There is plenty of patio furniture for everyone to enjoy the beautiful setting outside. We played lots of games outside by the pool and we also ate most of our meals outside too. Ali was available and very accommodating for any questions we had. Ali went above and beyond, she even took her own time to meet us one day and lead us to one of her favorite swimming holes nearby. Thank you Ali, for sharing your wonderful vacation home. We can't wait to return again!"

  • Location close to Mazama with wonderful trails in back.

"Great yard for dogs though the fence could use a little TLC. Berm was great for keeping out sites and sounds of Highway 20. Cabin was cool on 90 degree days and easy to regulate temperatures. Accommodations great although no washer/dryer. Would stay here again. Beds very comfortable we found the cabin very clean on arrival."

  • Quiet and relaxing stay surrounded by trees, hummingbirds and deer.

"Beautiful, large family cabin. We were a group of 5 but could easily fit more. The breakfast nook wasn't perfect and the deck was great for super and a BBQ. Just a perfect, quiet and relaxing get away with family."

  • Very comfortable "cabin" away from the highway

"We are no strangers to the Winthrop/Mazama area, making at least three trips per year. However, this is the first time that we stayed at this wonderful cabin. My wife, her brother, and I spent three enjoyable nights here. It's located far enough off of Highway 20 to minimize road noise and it's situated at the foot of a gradually upsloping forest. The sleeping areas were extremely comfortable and the kitchen was well-equipped with dishes and utensils. We enjoyed the nice deck as well. There was a generous supply of reference materials for the surrounding area which was helpful. It is located much closer to Mazama than it is to Winthrop which suited our plans very well. Aside from a burned out light bulb and a problem with the kitchen exhaust fan, everything worked well. We hiked up to the Goat Peak lookout (a great hike but a little steep and had snow patches), hiked along Wolf Creek, and thoroughly enjoyed the Mazama store. A stop at the glass blowing store in Winthrop was another highlight. We would certainly consider staying here again and I can recommend it."
