This quaint and cozy 2 bedroom condo has all you will need to enjoy your time away from home. Each bedroom has a queen size bed, full-size closets, CD/clock/radio complete with USB port to charge your electronic devices, and even a mini-library in each room complete with guidebooks and maps of the area to make the most of your stay.

The living room has a pull-out couch to sleep an extra two individuals too, accommodating a total of 6 people max. Cozy up to the gas fireplace on those chilly nights, or after a full day enjoying the spectacular Rocky Mountains that surround you, settle in to watch a great flick or your favourite TV episodes on demand on our brand new 48' Flatscreen LED TV. We have a selection of DVDs for your use or movie and TV programming through Netflix.

Want to unplug and re-connect with the family? Our selection of classic board games and cards will fit the bill on inclement weather days or just to unwind, and don't forget to use our classic picnic day pack on your outdoor outings. On starry evenings you can even use our high-powered telescope for awesome star-gazing or hunting for the man in the moon :)

The full kitchen includes a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker and kettle. We've pre-stocked the cupboards with many pantry items for your convenience, so you don't have to buy all those little extras like spices, salt & pepper, a selection of teas, coffee, sugar, oil and vinegar, etc. Feel free to prepare your meals either in the kitchen or using the large communal BBQ in the courtyard across from your suite. The 4 piece bathroom also has a stackable washer/dryer for your use, and cleaning supplies are also available.

Overall, your home away from home has a very 'cottagy' feel to it, and while we don't claim to be a super high-end 5 star place due to the older nature of our building, this is reflected in the very affordable price compared to other listings in this category. Our starting rates allow a party of 4 to enjoy this comfortable apartment for less than $40 each! That's about the same as staying in the local hostel down the road, but here you get so much more, including access to the pool, fitness facilities, hot tub and dry sauna at our partner facility just steps from your door.

Right outside is immediate access to the recently completed Rocky Mountain Legacy Trail, built to commemorate the 125th Anniversary of Banff National Park. The park gates are just a quick 5 minute drive away, but why drive when you can cycle or roller blade along the Legacy Trail all the way West to Banff townsite, starting right outside your door! About Dave and Teresa Albano

We're Teresa and Dave, parents of two young and rambunctious boys who love to play and explore in the great outdoors. Originally from Ontario, we moved to Calgary and the Glory of the Rocky Mountains to bask in the great lifestyle they offer. We don't do this full time, but just to help support our family better and build a better lifestyle in a place we love to call home.

We're in the mountains so often that it made sense to get a property here! This gives us the excuse to come in from Calgary that much more, rejuvenating our spirits, our minds, and our bodies, as much as we know it will for you too. Since we're in Calgary you'll be on your own and self-sufficient, but we offer great support via email, through our local guidebooks and resource materials in the condo, and you'll love the local hospitality and incredible mountains. Need we say more?

What makes this condo unique

We're all climbers in our family, even the kids. Dave in particular has climbed most of the towering peaks you'll see from right outside this property, offering a very unique perspective and intimacy with the local landscape and wildlife. We love being independent and 'unplugging' from it all, and outside of being in a great location with easy access to everything, you'll be in a completely self-contained apartment allowing your own independence and sense of adventure as well. This proved to be the perfect base for my small family. It is ideally situated for Banff, Lake Louise, Kananaskis, Calgary etc. Canmore is a nice town with wildlife abounding - we had to stop the car several times because of Elk Crossings. The condo must also be the best value in the area.

We really enjoyed our recent stay at Dave and Teresa's condo. We rented it for a getaway to ski at Lake Louise and Sunshine and it was so accessible to the highway. The condo was very comfortable, the kitchen was awesome and so well stocked with extras. Was also great to have a drier to dry wet ski wear at the end of the day. The Banff national park pass was not available as suggested on the site but Dave and Theresa refunded the cost of this immediately. Would definitely stay again. Thanks so much!

Wonderful Condo!

My husband and I loved our 6 night stay at this condo! It is in a quiet complex and has everything needed from a very well stocked kitchen to a much appreciated washer and dryer. The condo was very clean and comfortable. We loved the easy access to Banff National Park, but also enjoyed Canmore and some beautiful local trails. The owners are very easy to work with and always had quick responses to our communications. We would highly recommend staying here when exploring Banff and Canmore.
