This is a beautiful house in the hills just a 30 minute drive from Pisa airport. It was lovely to have ensuite bathrooms for each room. The pool was perfect for a small family group.The local village is around a 20 minute walk and you'll need a torch for the walk back. There are a couple of restaurants and a takeaway pizza place.It was easy to get a train into Pisa to see the tourist sites

Holiday in Tuscany

Fabulous villa in a beautiful location. Had a wonderful holiday and was able to travel to lots of nearby towns. Villa, gardens and pool were amazing and enjoyed by the whole family. Lying in the pool listening to cicadas and watching swifts and buzzards fly over was magical.

Beautiful Country House

This property is beautiful with stunning views and a tranquil setting. Perfectly maintained with incredible attention to detail inside and out. The interior is amazing with great decor, comfy beds and lots of special little touches. The pool is lovely and tucked away in the garden nestled in between mature shrubs, herbs and olive trees. We’ve stayed in many rental properties over the years but this one is definitely one of the very best we’ve had and top marks all round. Thanks Leonardo for your help and hospitality and for making our holiday so fantastic.

Everything about this holiday home are perfect. The host was very kind; the beautifully located, romantic-styled house and the pool were a perfect "base camp" for us to explore wonderful Tuscany. Highly recommended!

Wonderful property to enjoy the best of Tuscany!

My family enjoyed a week staying at this beautiful property. Such a wonderful peaceful location and only a short walk/drive to the charming village of Montopoli. We loved the gardens and swimming pool, and the property is well set up with everything you need. Leonardo is a wonderful host and communicating with him was an absolute pleasure. Highly recommend this property as a base for exploring this beautiful part of Italy!

If your in Tuscany and don't stay here you screwed up. The property owner is fantastic. The property checked all the boxes . Cleanliness, location , and setting. Communication was no problem but nothing came up that was an issue. You have to chec stay there

The perfect stay

A stunning, beautifully decorated property that was the perfect base for exploring northern Tuscany. We travelled to so many different places including Pisa, Florence, San Miniato, Pistoia, Volterra, Vinci, San Gimignano and more! The hosts Leonardo and Barbara gave us a useful guide packed full of so many places and things to do. We'd highly recommend Rose and Rosemary house to anyone looking for a stay in Tuscany, be it a peaceful relaxing break or exploring the wonderful Tuscany region.

Amazing property with views to swoon over

Leonardo was an amazing host and made us feel very comfortable. The pictures do not do this property justice. The house and views are stunning and made for a very comfortable stay. The town is very cute and just a 10 minute drive away we found a grocery store and other amenities. We would definitely recommend staying with Leonardo and his wife.

A Perfect Oasis for a Relaxing Holiday!

We had an absolutely wonderful and relaxing holiday at this stunning vacation home! The house exceeded all our expectations and the check-in process was incredibly quick and easy. Leonardo was a fantastic host, always responsive and attentive. The location is perfect and tranquil – a true oasis. The garden is a little slice of Eden, lovingly maintained. Villa in Tuscany

The property exceeded our expectations. It’s great mix of traditional construction with modern details and amenities. Wooden beams with USB ports on the wall. The pool was great and clean. We were never hot inside thanks to the air conditioner units all over the house. We had breakfast and dinners in the patio. Barbecued twice…in summary, the best Tuscan villa experience you could imagine. Thanks Leonardo!

Amazing Property, close to everything

Want an Under the Tuscan Sun experience this is your place. Home is better than photos. The outside gardens and pools are immaculate and gorgeous. The home is gated and very secure. It has recently been renovated and has incredible architecture features like timber beams. The rooms are large, clean, and spacious. The bedrooms are comfortable and there are bathrooms for every bedroom. The AC works great. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you would need to cook in. The covered patio has a grill and outdoor table for amazing evening suppers. Centrally located to all Tuscany locations; we went to Pisa, Siena, Bolgheri, San Gigmignano , and Montecino. Nothing more than 2 hours to the house. Village has amazing restaurant and pizzeria less than 5 min drive. Grocery and shopping very close. Leonardo is an amazing host. Very responsive and informative. We cannot wait to return

Beautiful Tuscan Home Between Pisa and Florence!

The photos do not fully capture the charm of this gorgeous house!It was completely renovated in the last five years, so everything inside is immaculate and beautifully decorated. The garden/landscaping is carefully maintained and the pool is fantastic!Leonardo met us at the check-in and explained the air conditioners, the washing machine, the recycling/garbage rules, the grill, and the various keys. He speaks great English and was helpful at answering all our questions. Each of the three bedrooms has it's own bathroom and air conditioner.We bought groceries (CONAD 10 minutes from house) and cooked our meals. It was exactly what we needed to balance out our vacation. We left town one of the five days to go on a day trip to Lucca (40 minutes away via back roads). Definitely recommend going and renting bicycles and riding them around the city's perimeter on top of the wall. Driving through Montopoli was a little intimidating at first because it's narrow at parts, but we quickly got used to it and there were very few oncoming cars. I also loved walking from the house into town to explore and talk to some of the local residents! Cannot recommend this home enough! We didn't want to leave!

Perfection

I don’t say this lightly, but after traveling throughout Italy for several weeks and staying in multiple VRBO’s…THIS home is perfection! What you don’t see pictured are the exquisite gardens. In April, it was covered in lemon trees, colorful flowers, an orange tree, olive trees, gorgeous wisteria, and the backyard is multileveled leading down to the pool. This property would be lovely any time of year and has a beautiful sunset view from the front. The inside of the home is just as stunning! They’ve thought of everything…even little lights in the flooring along the stairs and hallways (great with little kids), a huge outdoor table and nice sun chairs, gorgeous furniture. The home even has a wrap-around patio that we never wanted to leave. Our biggest regret is not planning more time at this property. Also, the host spent time answering questions about travel around Tuscany and even called me personally to answer questions both before and during our stay. He was exceptionally helpful and responsive! Of all the homes we visited, this is the one our children still talk about fondly and want to go back to. It’s a little piece of Tuscan paradise that we would fully recommend! We miss it terribly and cannot overstate how much we enjoyed this home! Thank you for the wonderful memories!

Perfect

This is the best house we’ve ever rented in italy, by far; - Very clean - Very spacious, beautifully finished and maintained but above all very comfortable (superbly quiet A/C, beds that are suitable for tall people and so are the showers, well equipped kitchen etc etc.) - Surrounded by a beautiful and very well maintained garden, with a crystal clear pool, which is great during hot days - Most Tuscan highlights (Firenze, Lucca, Pisa, San Gimignano, beaches etc etc) can be reached within an hour by car - Nice restaurants and supermarkets within a 15 min radius - Very quiet environment (there are neighbors both left and right of the house but these are very quiet people, so no need for concerns about screaming, parties, loud music or whatsoever). - Paved and smooth access roads, so no 4WD required, a normal car will get you there ;-) - As already mentioned in other reviews, the house looks even better in real life than it does on the pictures. And last but not least, Leonardo is the best host you could wish for; a very friendly and helpful guy, who is fluent in English and will do anything required to make your stay as pleasant as possible. We will definitely return!

La propriété était encore plus belle que sur les photos de l’annonce ! Les propriétaires, Leonardo et son épouse, ont été incroyablement accueillants, disponibles et attentionnés. Ils nous ont permis d’arriver un peu plus tôt, ce qui était très appréciable.La maison est impeccable, très bien équipée, spacieuse, confortable et pleine de charme. Chaque détail est pensé pour le bien-être des voyageurs. On s’y sent immédiatement comme chez soi.Le jardin est magnifiquement entretenu, idéal pour se détendre, et la vue sur la campagne toscane est tout simplement à couper le souffle. Le calme environnant rend le séjour encore plus reposant.L’emplacement est parfait pour visiter les plus beaux villages et sites de Toscane tout en profitant d’un véritable havre de paix.Nous avons passé un séjour exceptionnel, bien au-delà de nos attentes. Un grand merci à Leonardo et son épouse pour leur gentillesse et leur hospitalité. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute et recommandons cette maison les yeux fermés !

Wir durften eine Woche in diesem wunderschönen Haus verbringen. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist außergewöhnlich und der Gastgeber sehr zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit. Jedes Schlafzimmer und das Wohnzimmer hatte eine super leise Klimaanlage. Das Haus und die Gartenanlage ist mit sehr viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Insgesamt ist dies die beste Unterkunft, die wir bisher gefunden haben.

Das Navigationsgerät kannte die Adresse nicht, aber als wir das Haus gefunden hatten, waren wir total begeistert. Das Haus und der Garten haben unsere Erwartungen übertroffen. Mit der gut durchdachten und sehr hübschen Ausstattung des gesamten Hauses fühlten wir uns sofort wohl und willkommen. Der Garten ist traumhaft, mit viel Liebe zum Detail angelegt. Der Pool ist sehr sauber, genau wie das Haus.Wir können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
