4-room house 120 m2 on 2 levels, on the ground floor, very tasteful furnishings: living/dining room with open fireplace and satellite-TV. Exit to the terrace. 1 double bedroom. Exit to the garden. Kitchenette (4 hotplates, oven, dishwasher, micro wave). Shower/WC. Upper floor: 1 room with 1 bed, 1 double bed and shower/WC. 1 room with 2 beds and shower/WC.

Nice farmhouse, 2 storeys, renovated, surrounded by fields and vineyards. 5 km from the centre of Gambassi, 15 km from the centre of San Gimignano, 40 km from the centre of Siena, 50 km from the centre of Firenze, in a quiet position on top of a hill. Private: grounds 1'500 m2 (fenced), well-kept garden lawn, plants and flowers. Terrace (150 m2), garden furniture, barbecue. Linen change weekly. Parking in the grounds.

Shop 5 km, restaurant 2 km, railway station 'Certaldo' 5 km, outdoor swimming pool 5 km. Tennis 5 km.

Nearby you can taste Tuscan wine and olive oil, horseback riding, Italian cooking classes.

Preference for Saturday to Saturday booking or at least arrival or departure day on Saturday.

Excellent Villa in Tuscany

Villa located on a hilltop 4 kilometers west of Certaldo in Tuscany. Large patio w/ shaded area w/table and various lawn furniture. Long story short the place is outstanding in all respects. Inside and out.

Una maravilla en la Toscana

Imposible imaginar que la realidad superara las bellas fotos: un trabajo de restauracion completo, con cuidado en cada detalle, aprovechando al maximo la belleza natural que rodea esta propiedad de ensueno, para hacer de la estancia algo para el recuerdo, sin olvidar todas las comodidades disponibles, con un bano para cada una de las tres magnificas habitaciones, mas la corta distancia a Certaldo. Gracias por todo, incluyendo el recibimiento tardio y la despedida bien temprano: son detalles que se aprecian.

Beautiful Villa!

From the beginning, I was impressed with Leondardo's ability to communicate effectively via email. All of the terms and conditions were clearly laid out and the process was very well organized. The villa itself was so inviting -- great location, clean, warm, and comfortable. We, four ladies from all over the world, thoroughly enjoyed cooking, dining out, and wine tasting at the villa and local wineries/restaurants. Thanks for the lovely stay! Lina

Lovely Tuscan views with a quiet, farmland setting

We very much enjoyed our 5 night stay in the farmhouse villa. The home had plenty of bedroom space and privacy for our family, and the value was so good. The property is outside the small city of Certaldo, which makes it very quiet, but still easily accessible to the city for just about any needs that arise. Cooking and relaxing on the property were very easy, and with the views and quiet, it makes the stay very enjoyable. One to one-and-a-half hour drive to all kinds of interesting places, such as Firenze, Volterra, Pisa and Siena. We will certainly look to come back again during our next visit through Tuscany.

Wonderful Stay

Our family of 6 had a wonderful week long stay in Tuscany at Leonardo and Andrea's Villa. The farmhouse is fantastic, its absolutely beautiful and is handsomely decorated and all the amenities are quality and in perfect shape. The location is to die for, beautiful Tuscan hills, vineyards, and olive trees surround the property and the hill town of Certaldo is framed perfectly in the distance. It was also well located in terms of getting to grocery stores, restaurants and the local train station and was a perfect base to drive to the various beautiful towns and cities in Tuscany. On top of that Leonardo and Andrea were wonderful. They were helpful yet unobtrusive during our stay and went above and beyond on several occasions and we are immensely happy with them and our stay. Will definitely stay again if we return to Tuscany
