SPECIAL OFFER DURING OFF-PEAK SEASON:
"Stay-Longer-Discounts" available from October to May - 20% discount for 7 nights or more, or 35% discount for 28 nights or more compared to standard prices. This discount is already reflected in our rates - test it out by querying available dates and durations and see for yourself.
Charming, spacious 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment with a south-facing balcony overlooking the gardens, affording a partial view of the sea & Esterel mountains. The apartment is equipped with all the amenities we can think of to make your stay as comfortable and easy as possible.
The complex is located directly opposite the beach which is approximately a 50 metre walk. Eden Park is a gated residential complex, with beautiful landscaped gardens and two sculpted swimming pools; one outdoor, the other a heated indoor pool. There is also a sauna and steam room beside the indoor pool.
It's just a 5 minute walk to the beautiful old town of Le Suquet, with its abundance of restaurants and panoramic view over Cannes. The Old Port and the Palais des Festivals, the Cannes Film Festival venue, are 10-15 minutes walk along the promenade. Boulevard de La Croisette, the famous seafront promenade, and Rue D'Antibes, the main shopping street, are both just seconds away from the Palais.
There is a small commercial centre including a cafe, chemist, hairdressers & doctor situated directly across from the complex. The nearest supermarket, Leader Price, is a 5 minute walk away.
The nearest bus stop is less than 50 metres from the complex with regular buses to the centre of Cannes and the bus and train station.
Rue D'Antibes is the main shopping street, with a mixture of expensive and affordable shops. Nearby Rue Meynadier is another shopping street with affordable shops. Cannes' most exclusive designer shops are on the seafront opposite La Croisette; most of us can only enjoy some window-shopping there.
The Forville Market in nearby Le Suquet is open daily from 7.30am to 1.00pm (except Mondays) with a fine selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, meat, fish, flowers and more. There is a market in the centre of Cannes, just beside the Old Port, every Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday selling antiques, original paintings, crafts, jewellery and vintage items.
We recommend Le Petit Train for a short tour of Cannes, including Palm Beach and Le Suquet. Trains depart from La Croisette, close to Le Palais. Schedules vary throughout the year.
Ăle Sainte-Marguerite is approximately half a mile offshore from Cannes and is well worth a boat trip to explore the fortress that held The Man in the Iron Mask. It also affords great views of the stunning Cannes shoreline from the boat.
You will be spoiled for choice with restaurants. For what it's worth, a few of our family's personal favourites are:
* Riviera Beach - between the apartment and the Palais, on the beach - great place for lunch with a fabulous sea view.
* L'Assiette Provencale - on the Old Port is a firm favourite of our family
* Le Rendez Vous - down by the markets, serves great food at reasonable prices
* Dinner at an outdoor table in one of the many restaurants along Le Suquet is a must for ambience and people-watching.
You will have plenty to see and do in Cannes, but if you fancy a day trip or two, there are plenty of options to explore the Cote D'Azur. Cannes is well served by trains and buses, so a car is not essential for most trips. Nice and Monaco/Monte Carlo are top of our list but check out our photos for several more day-trip suggestions.
STRICTLY NO ANIMALS AND NO SMOKING ALLOWED IN THE APARTMENT.
