Pros and Cons
Pros: Location, location, location - condo is well cared for - price is right.
Cons: Too hot! I had all the heat off, sliding door open, and it was still too warm - bed in master suite is like a rock - Could use some updating, I can understand not replacing TVs when they work fine, but I forgot how low resolution they were. Like watching through dirty glasses - Ceiling fan in Master suite makes a lot of noise - I would not want to stay here when the lodge was at full capacity, it would be too noisy.
Beautiful, clean, and private. Slope side ski in and out. Can't beat it! I will definitely come back
Too cold then too hot, beds hard and bouncy. TVs way too old - yes good view out the window.
Overall value for dollar spent is minimum when this could really be a first class condo rental. Upgrading to high def flat screens are so easy and economical these days that seeing these antique money wasters and low definition TVs really makes you want to get out of the apartment. Communication with the owners is slow, painful and confusing. Condo was too cold for first night and day then too hot for the last 24 hours even when thermostats turned back down. Beds were the worst, hard, cheap and bouncy and would not allow full nights sleep. You get full benefit of hearing elevator alarms @ 4-5 in the morning as well as the ground floor lobby of screaming children and their drunk adults shouting and laughing. Will never stay in this unit or with these owners again and can't recommend them.
Just what we needed.
Relaxing convenient. Great accommodations. Clean and very comfortable. Best three-day trip ever.
The condo was great! We loved it
This is the 5th year we have stayed at Mountain Lodge but the first in 246. Our favorite by far! Hope to go back next year
The condo was great. Very nicely appointed for our family. We love Snowshoe!
The condo was in a perfect location. We were very pleased with the condo's kitchen as we cooked our evening meals. We are considering a season pass next year, so we will be back several times next season. Thanks so much for sharing your home with us.
