Piscine ouverte du 1er juin au 20 octobre

Le "Vecchio Ulivo" est situé sur une colline avec vue panoramique sur le Tibre, en contrebas du petit village médiéval de San Vito di Narni, à 79 km de Rome par une autoroute. La propriété est située dans une grande oliveraie et entouré d'un jardin paysager avec une piscine de 13 x 6 mètres. En bas d'un grand salon avec cheminée divisé en 4 zones, une grande cuisine, une chambre à coucher principale qui ouvre sur le jardin sur une pergola de vigne et une salle de bains avec douche. Au premier étage, un espace mansardée, donc avec un mur plus bas, avec 3 chambres doubles et une salle de bains avec baignoire. En face de la salle de séjour avec des fenêtres donnant sur la vallée, vous sortez sur une grande terrasse semi-couverte par un toit, idéal pour se reposer le soir à l'extérieur mais à l'abri de l'humidité atmosphérique. Aussi dans le jardin, près de la piscine il y a un gazebo sous lequel il fait bon dîner les fraiches soirs d'été.
À la maison offre une atmosphère agréable, gai et serein, et tous ceux qui viennent chez nous l'apprécient et se sentent à l'aise

Lovely house with fantastic swimming pool and gargen

We had a great time in this beautiful house, with huge sitting area and a fantastic swimming pool which is perfect for staying cool on hot days. There are many beautiful towns and places to see not far from the house. However, the house was so nice that we spent most of the time in the swimming pool and garden. The owner is really helpful and welcoming.

Lovely place in Southern Umbria

We had a lovely time i San Vito. Mum, dad, 4 “kids” (ages 11-26). Plenty of room for all, and the pool was absolutely perfect as we had 38˚C all week. House has splendid views (even better than pictures) and has all necessary suppliances. Take note, use of A/C is not unlimited, so we had a minor extra charge. Excellent communication uptil and during the stay. Mario in nearby San Vito village-square delivered perfect service. Highly recommended.

Lovely Family Home

We spent nearly two very relaxing weeks in this lovely family home, taking full advantage of the fantastic swimming pool. With temperatures of nearly 40 degrees we were swimming several times a day. The garden was delightful with several choices of eating areas and beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. We usually had our breakfast on the terrace outside the main living area of the house and our evening meal was frequently prepared on the barbeque and enjoyed under the gazebo in the main part of the garden. The owners were always easy to get hold of and dealt promptly with any queries that we had. The kitchen was very well equipped, but one suggestion that I would make is for any visitors from the UK, a teapot would be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks Paula for the nice review, full of joyful images about your stay and new ideas for observation. But it surprises me that you have not found the teapots because I love tea and I've always had two teapots, on the kitchen counter! I'm sorry I did not know it in time ...

Very nice house with a perfect swimming pool

It’s a big house with a well-maintained garden which offers ample shade. The swimming pool is big and lovely. One of the bedrooms is located on the ground floor, as well as one of the bathrooms. Three bedrooms and bathroom 2 are located on the first floor, which has a rather low ceiling. On the first floor an aircon unit is installed (no need for at the ground floor). Don’t expect a perfect finished house as some houses in Tuscany/Umbria, it is a big and well-equipped house. Mario, the caretaker, has its business nearby and is a great guy. Friendly owners. The town St Vito is very small and except from Mario’s bar offers no services (go to Otricoli or Narni). The beautiful town of Narni is not far away (25 min. by car) and Rome can easily be reached by train from Orte. Spoleto is within easy reach; we also made a rafting trip in Terni (near the Marmore falls). The area around the house is quiet, although you can see and hear the autostrada in the Tiber valley.

Séjour très agréable

La maison est très agréable à vivre et a le charme des maisons réellement habitées et pas seulement mise en location. Le jardin qui l’entoure est superbe et très bien et très discrètement entretenu. La piscine nous a permis de supporter la canicule (10 jours consecutif à plus de 35). Tout autour, la région regorge de très beaux sites à visiter. Et, inattendu, il y a dans le petit village de San Vito, à 300 mètres de la maison, un excellent restaurant à tester absolument. Isabelle nous a laissé des consignes et des conseils très clairs et était réactive à toute nos interrogations. Un excellent lieu de villégiature dans une région magnifique

Wir verbrachten zwei wunderbare Wochen auf diesem tollen Anwesen. Das ältere Landhaus hat Charme, ist gemütlich eingerichtet und bietet alles, was man benötigt.Das Anwesen hat einen sehr großen, schön angelegten Garten und einen wunderbaren, großen und nach hinten tiefer werdenden Pool. Wir haben die Sitz- und Essmöglichkeit unter dem poolnahen Pavillon ausgiebig genutzt und auch der Außengrill musste herhalten. Abends saßen wir auf der überdachten Terrasse beim Haus und haben den Abend ausklingen lassen. Die Kommunikation mit Isabel und dem Verwalter war unproblematisch. Anfragen wurden umgehend beantwortet.Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder!

Charmante wonig in een prachtige omgeving.

We hebben van een prachtige vakantie genoten.Het was er gezellig en alle comfort was aanwezig.Het zwembad was bij het warme weer fantastisch. Savonds een fijne verkoelende duik en daarna genieten van de stilte.Mario is de perfecte persoon die je met alles helpt en ook de bar, op 620 meter van het vakantiehuis, uitbaat.Vriendelijkheid en behulpzaamheid ten top.Wij komen zeker nog eens langs.

Charmantes Landhaus

Das Haus ist etwas älter, aber charmant und geräumig. Der Pool ist schön und groß, das Sprungbrett gibt es aber leider nicht mehr. Der Garten ist wunderschön angelegt und perfekt gepflegt. Zum kleinen Borgo kann man zu Fuß gehen. Dort gibt es ein schönes Restaurant. Leider Liegt allerdings die Autobahn in Hörweite und Sichtweite, es rauscht rund um die Uhr.

The Old Olive Tree - the place to be!

In august/september 2022 we had a great vacation in The Old Olive Tree. The house is beautiful and well equipped with plenty of room for the family. The garden (oriented on the south) is nice and big, offering shade and sunshine. The large p;ool is fantastic for a cool-down and fun. The BBQ and outside dining space are perfect. The staff maintaining the house (Mario for the garden and pool (daily) and Meri for the linen) do a great job and are efficient. We didn't see Mario as he did his work very early. Mario (another) of the pub in San Vito showed us around in the house to get acquainted. Friendly guy - visit his pub for a cool beer and enjoy the view from his terrace. San Vito is very small - a walk around the fortress is recommended.. The surroundings are worthwhile to visit. Narni (25 min. by car), Terni (cascade - check on opening hours!, Otricoli (15 min. by car, visit the Romain excavation!) are nice towns . Supermarkets are closeby (Narni - LIDL) and Otricoli (Hurray). In Otricoli is a great Italian restaurant. And we were even treated on a nightly medieval spectacle to celebrate the rivalry between San Vito and the neighbouring village of Guademelo. TRAUMHAUS mit allem drum und dran

Das Haus ist noch viel schöner, als auf den Bildern zu sehen. Ein wunderbarer Pool, der frühmorgens gereinigt wird, eine Dusche am Pool, eine Tischtennisplatte mit genügend Schlägern und Bällen, ein Grill mit Holz, verschiedene Sitzplätze, eine Outdoor-Couch und innen alles so schön und gemütlich! Dazu ein traumhafter Blick, schönes Umland, eine liebenswürdige Vermieterin und ein hilfsbereiter und sympathischer Verwalter vor Ort, den man jederzeit kontaktieren darf! Ein perfektes Gesamtpaket! Kann man nur weiterempfehlen!!! Von uns 5 Sterne!

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in diesem wunderbaren Haus verbracht. Es bietet einen großartigen Pool, schönen Garten mit diversen Plätzen zum Verweilen. Das Haus ist geschmachvoll eingerichtet und bietet alles um einen entspannten Urlaub zu verbringen. Man hat einen wunderschönen Ausblick ins Tibertal. Auch die Kommunikation mit Isabel und Mario war hervorragend und liebenswürdig. Wir können das Haus uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Traumhafte Ruhe

Wir waren mit zwei Familien zu Gast bei Isabella, es waren drei wunderschöne und erholsame Wochen. Das Haus hat alles, was es für eine Urlaub braucht, die Zimmer sind geräumig und liebevoll eingerichtet und das Anwesen ist herrlich groß, grün und von Natur umgeben. Das Highlight für alle war natürlich der große Pool, der sogar ein Sprungbrett zu bieten hatte. Die Betreuung vor Ort war äußerst rücksichtsvoll und hilfreich - von Isabella bekamen wir Marmelade und Olivenöl, Mario der Gärtner hat sich stets diskret um Garten und Pool gekümmert und für alle Fragen stand Mario der Caféhausbesitzer im benachbarten Ort zur Verfügung. Dieses Haus können wir mit bestem Gewissen all denen empfehlen, die Ruhe, Erholung, einen herrlichen Ausblick und einen grandiosen Pool suchen.

Fantastisches freistehendes Haus mit großem Pool

Das Haus befindet sich auf einem großen Grundstück am Hang unter einem kleinen Dorf. Es hat einen fantastischen Ausblick von der Terrasse aus und von dem Wohnzimmer durch riesige Glasscheiben. Die Hauptattraktionen waren für uns die abgelegene Lage, der große Garten mit einem super Pool und die Grillstelle. Die Kommunikation mit Isabel, der Eigentümerin, lief ausgesprochen gut. So wurde beispielsweise die defekte Gartenbeleuchtung umgehend durch einen Elektriker repariert. Dieses tolle Haus können wir sehr weiterempfehlen.

Great rest and relaxing holiday

We had a beautiful 2 weeks holiday in this house. Everything was very swell organised, from check in to arrival. Also when something was not convenient, it was fixed almost immediately. Very clean house at arrival, beautiful garden, nice swimming pool etc etc. I do recommend this property to people who like a holiday in a nice relaxing environment with great service and friendly people. A peaceful retreat in Umbria

From the very beginning, Isabel was very communicative and kind, and we felt very comfortable renting the property. When we arrived, we were greeted by the incomparable Mario, who generously gave of his time to answer any and all questions. Isabel also left a list of recommended restaurants and local, off the beaten path places to explore during our stay. The home itself is just lovely, and the property grounds are beautiful. As touring can become taxing at times, we spent lots of time just lounging in the pool. The house itself had everything we needed in terms of amenities, and we were comfortable and happy there for our entire visit. It was a great experience, and we are so thankful for the wonderful memories we made there!!

Wonderfully Relaxing Break

My family and I chose to rent this villa based on three key points - close proximity to an airport, peace and tranquillity and, most importantly, the size of the swimming pool. Not being a family who enjoy the buzz of busy, popular holiday resorts we were really looking forward to enjoying a couple of weeks away from 'normal' life and were delighted that this property delivered on all counts. Yes - there were niggles but there always will be when you are away from your home environment and this seems to add to the overall holiday experience. There was no kettle, for example ( yes - we are British!) so water for cups of tea had to be heated in a saucepan. The upstairs shower had enough power and heat to cut through solid steel so constant, very careful, adjustment was needed and the traffic noise from the motorway in the valley did permeate the silence. But these are small insignificancies. In the detailed information provided by the owner, Isabel, she mentions that the property is in need of updates etc but this was / still is a family home. As such you can forgive the fact that some of the appliances are getting a bit tired. Everything worked – that’s all you need! The pool, at 13m in length, was superb! Our family’s un-written rule is that you have to do your age in lengths every day. Of course this does mean that the oldest member (me) has to swim the furthest but as I made the rule up I can't complain! I wasn't brave enough to dive off the diving board though... There are enough chairs on the veranda to accommodate a small army and we spent most evenings sitting out drinking wine and enjoying the evening warmth. We were also treated to a number of brilliant lightning storms in the first week of our stay which was fabulous. The property is well within one hours drive of the delightful towns of Narni and Terni which are well worth visiting and it only takes 40 minutes to get into Rome by train from Orte station, which has a huge, cheap, long-stay car park. It only cost us 10 Euros each for a return trip and saved hours of driving and trying to park in the city. If you are looking for 5 star hotel style accommodation then this is not the place for you. If, however, you are looking for 5 star relaxation in a property that has everything you would need for a break away from 'the norm' then we would thoroughly recommend this property.
