About Susan Lovett
We built this house in 2006 to be our retirement home. We have been in Christian ministry our entire married lives and we are no strangers to hospitality. This house was built for our children and grandchildren. We planned for the families to have a measure of privacy in their own bedroom, but the children would sleep on the sofas and blow up mattresses in the loft, giggling with their cousins when they were supposed to be asleep. We've loved it. Actually my parents love it too and bring their friends to relax and enjoy the beauty of God's creation, breathe the fresh air, and fellowship together. We'd love to share our home with you and hope that time spent here would give you a fresh perspective on life and you'd leave refreshed and full of peace.

An amazing cabin!
Such a lovely home. The layout of the home of making every bedroom window to overlook the lake and view each sunrise & sunset was brilliance. Not to mention beautiful. Susan and her husband thought of everything. I wanted to do some site seeing and do a little shopping. The rest of my family wanted to stay put and enjoy the cabin and each other. It was Father’s Day weekend. So the men went fishing everyday and the women went grocery shopping for enough for 4 days so they can enjoy their time. It was great being with family and enjoying each other. That cabin had a lot to do with it. The cabin and the grounds were spotless and spacious. Thank you Lovett family for sharing your home with us!
Thank you, Sheila. I’m so glad there was something for everyone!
The house was well accommodated and provided a spectacular view of the lake!
The house was clean and well furnished. We were able to comfortably host and sleep 12 including children. Highly recommend the home to anyone staying in the area.
Absolutely beautiful cabin with a view to die for!
Cabin was amazing and literally had everything we needed for our stay! The view was unbelievable right on the river! The owner was extremely helpful and responsive! Would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!
Great Location to area docks
We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. The views were amazing! Location was great for our group to access nearby docks for a week of bass tournament fishing. Would love to stay again!
Even better than you think...
This home is outstanding. We split our vacation into 2 places (also went to Nashville), but we missed the cabin as soon as we left it. Perfectly located close enough to Chattanooga but away from the busyness. We looked forward to our ‘down time’ in the cabin as much as or more than our ‘tourism’ time. It was clean, is exceedingly spacious, and is well equipped. Good memories made. We will go back!
Beautiful view of Lake Nickajack
Spacious house perfect for large get togethers. Highly recommend!
