This beautifully renovated ground floor and beachfront condo puts you right on the edge of the Caribbean Sea!

You can get no closer to the water than here at Simply Paradise!

This condo features 2 bedroom / 2 bath condo is less than feet from the turquoise blue waters. There is a gate from the condo porch that allows you direct access to the beach.

You can strap on your snorkel gear we provide and head into the water.The snorkeling is great at our artificial reef just a short swim away from the beach.

Laying out for a tan or reading a book more your style? Then use the in units blender to make yourself a tropical frozen drink or grab one from the bar right next door. Settle in and relax under the swaying palms to the sound of gentle waves slapping the shore while being caressed by the warm island breeze.

The patio is comfortably furnished for evening relaxation and al fresco dining. After dinner you can lounge on the sofa or lay on the loungers and watch the sunset. This 200 sq ft outdoor living area has an unobstructed ocean view.

Inside, you will find 2 comfortable bedrooms with window A/C units!

Two full bathrooms are stocked with plenty of towels, soap and shampoo.

The full kitchen has plenty of dishware, coffee maker, glasses and utensils and all major appliances including microwave and a blender to try out some frozen drink recipes.

A bottle of our famous Cruzan Rum awaits you.

The spacious living room has cable TV,DVD player, a landline telephone for local calls, FREE WiFi and a hard wired connection for the working vacationer.

You'll also find a selection of books for a quiet read on the beach.

Colony Cove is a gated, security patrolled complex located close to Christiansted for dining, shopping and sightseeing. It has a freshwater pool with plenty of deck space, gas grills, tennis courts and direct beach access. There are 2 restaurant/bars within walking distance and 2 grocery stores that are a short drive.

A rental car is not a necessity but is highly recommended.

About Lyn Osborne

I was born and raised on the beautiful island of St. Croix. Since then I have gotten the opportunity to live in a few different places. First the east coast, then South Korea and now finally the southern US where I have made my home. Living on the mainland and now having children of my own made me yearn for my childhood days back on island. So I purchased a tiny bit of paradise so that my family and I can enjoy the sandy shores of home at my leisure! For me there is nothing more important that being able to share the food, sun ,fun and music of my culture with my kids!

Huge sliding glass doors off the living area and the master provide access to the patio from which you can step right out on to the sandy shores. This condo is the perfect beachy condo! The views are stunning and the condo has everything you could think of and then some! Katie and Lyn were awesome to work with and they took care of all of our needs! The condo is convienent to downtown and walking distance to restaurants! Close to two grocery stores as well! We had an amazing time and cannot wait to go back! Would definetly stay here again! Thank you again!

Amazing place, perfect location, incredible value!

We've traveled all over - Caribbean islands, Mexico, Hawaii, you name it - and Lyn's place ranks with the best.

UNIT: Newly renovated with everything you could need. Kitchen appliances, cookware, and cooking spices...washer and dryer...air-conditioned bedrooms for sleeping...everything was great. The outdoor balcony was our absolute favorite. A large space with several chairs/tables and directly on the beach with an ocean view that would normally cost you hundreds more (per night!).

PROPERTY: The combination of grassy areas, plants, and beach access gave it the much desired island feel. Nice pool and two large grills that looked new and we used more than once. Friendly neighbors and a soothing environment - no crazy parties here.

LOCATION: Along with being directly on the beach and within walking distance to two beach restaurants/bars (Breezes was excellent, Golden Rail was okay), it has great proximity to several spots on the island. Christiansted is within 5 minutes (check out the boardwalk, surrounding shops, and fort, along with restaurants You Are Here and Angry Nate's). Several other places are a 20-30 minute drive away (our favorites were the Carambola beach, Eat At Cane Bay, La Reine Chicken Shack, Rhythms at Rainbow Beach, and golf at the Buccaneer). Last but not least, you must check out Buck Island via Big Beards or a different tour for one of the best islands and snorkeling in the world.

LYN: I've dealt with several VRBO owners, almost always excellent, but Lyn was the best. Great communication and extremely warm and helpful every step of the way. I highly recommend her and her place for a wonderful visit to St. Croix.

Colony cove

Condo was clean, Kate met us at the airport to show us the way to the condo( which was very helpful) Small rocky beach in front of condo. Door from the porch to the beach is very difficult to close. Kate the property manager had some info about the island but was wrong with times ect...Cleaning crew came at 10AM even though check out was at 11( received a text the night before at 8:30pm from Kate)

John & Linda in Paradise, January 2017 -- Perfect location to enjoy St. Croix

In the years we've vacationed on tropical islands, we've always chosen VRBO-listed properties and been impressed, and Lyn Osborn's Simply Paradise was no exception. Months ago, when we selected it as our destination, our decision was based on old photos and descriptions from before the recent rennovation. Even then it was impressive, but now the updated condo is even more charming and "Island-y". With A/C in the bedrooms, modern appliances, including a dishwasher, in the kitchen and conch shells lining the patio wall, what more could we want?

It is the perfect location for exploring St. Croix or as its own island paradise all by itself. It's best feature is being able to walk right out onto the beach from the condo. That and simply laying back on our patio and watching the wind-surfers cut across the multi-blue waters of our bay. There is also a swimming pool and outdoor cooking facilities.

Property manager Katie Shuman met us at the airport and led us back to the condo, demonstrating the knack of driving on the left and making turns. Once we arrived, she showed us all the features and gave us tips on things to do while we are here.

Everything you need is onsite. Unpack your clothes, sit back, and enjoy your vacation. Cleaning supplies, food prep stuff (including basic condiments and also stuff left for us by previous tenants), swimming and snorkel gear, fishing rods, pool toys, beach towels, folding chairs, sunscreen and bug lotion, and much more. A basket of printed material provided more ideas for activities than we could have time for if we'd spent a month. Wi-Fi. Flatscreen TVs.

Much appreciated is its location relative to two restaurants. Breezez, a less-than-ten-minute walk up the palm-studded beach, is a romantic patio restaurant of moderate prices and stunning outside dining views. The lobster alfredo is wonderful, and way too big to eat all at once. Hooray for our condo's kitchen (and its microwave).

Even more convenient is Seini's Golden Rail, as it is only steps away and open up to 10:00 at night (a real advantage on an island that tends to close up after dark). They have live entertainment, a lovely outdoor patio, and the best darn lobster bisque and quesadillas EVER!!! The music was never disturbing to us at home as that sort of thing has been in other places we've stayed.

We would certainly recommend Simply Paradise to anyone... just as long as they're not going to St. Croix when we next expect to be there!!

Wonderful Family Vacation

This was a perfect place for a family of 5 to vacation! We were given a "suggestions" list from Lyn before the trip with many helpful tips on parking, island highlights, and outings that needed reservations. She even called the day before we left to answer any additional questions. Katie met us at the airport which was a blessing as the road signs were a challenge (in addition to adjusting to the left side driving) and provided more island tips throughout our stay. The beach towels, snorkel gear, washer/dryer/detergent, candles, bug spray, tub to rinse your feet (less sand), K-cups, and full kitchen were great! The pull out cot was even comfortable. We loved having the beach right out our back door: crabs, pelicans, seaplanes, beautiful sun rise/sets, reading on the beach and patio. We felt very safe and appreciated that it was a gated community. We found the food on the island to be pretty pricey but it helped to do a lot of cooking in the full kitchen (another fantastic feature). The condo was very clean and the rum and flowers were appreciated! The condo is fairly centrally located and we were able to get to most places in less than 25 min (minus the few times we got lost...but the scenery was still breathtaking). The pool was nice but we only used it once as there were too many awesome beaches to see. The only very slight negative would be that the door to the patio/beach was very difficult to open/close but that was due to the swollen wood of the door and probably the sandy sliding doors (all of which were very minor). We would highly recommend the hike to the tide pools (2.7 mi each way), Isaac's and Jack's bay (30 min walk there), Buck Island tour, and the Virgin Kayak bio bay tour, walking on the boardwalk, jumping off the Frederikstead pier and snorkeling everywhere. Best beaches were Rainbow, Cane, and Buck Island. Favorite places to dine were Eat @ Cane and You Are Here. Thank you for a fabulous stay!! Highly recommend this condo!

Excellent choice!

The condo was beyond perfect for our 1st visit to the island! It's exactly as described, extremely clean and in an excellent location. But what really pushed it over the top was the very responsive and personal availability of Lyn and Mike both prior to our visit and for questions while we were there. Appreciated them so much! Highly recommend this condo to everyone!
