Beautiful one bedroom condo with king bed and sleeper sofa that can accommodate up to four people. Children and long term rentals are welcome. Located in Honokawai, which is between Kaanapali and Kapalua in West Maui. The condo is located literally 50' from the beach and adjacent to a park. Unit #102 is located on the ground floor and enjoys direct ocean views.
Honokawai has some of the best weather in Maui with afternoon breezes that keep it much cooler than the much hotter Lahaina and Kihei areas, or the rainy Kapalua area. The Hale Kai complex is across the street from a market/deli and several small restaurants.
The condo was fully remodeled in 2009 with all new ceramic flooring, extensive can lighting, a fully remodeled bathroom and kitchen featuring granite counters, stainless steel appliances and maple cabinetry. All furniture is new with a Maui beach cottage theme.
The complex features a pool, laundry facilities, parking and barbeques.
Hale Kai is located in Honokawai, which is halfway between Kaanapali and Kapalua. This small area is very laid back but has all the amenities you could need, with a small market and church accross the street, several delis and restaurants a short walk away and other services. Also the weather of Honokawai is cooler than Lahaina and much less rainy than Kapalua. The beach in front of Hale Kai offers nice snorkeling and one can often see green sea turtles in the morning and evening.
