Come and enjoy the Sights and Sounds of Magnificent Marseille and Provence. It is a very peaceful place ideally located in an exceptionally trendy area.
The house, located on a dead-end street with no traffic is very quiet, as it is surrounded by an inner garden and near a park. The garden is flat with no danger. Parking for up to 3 cars. This is an Exceptional and Very rare house in the city of Marseille
The “Mansion” was designed in the 19th century with very high ceilings (4m’s), moulding decorated rooms, oak parquet floors and a fire place. The house, having thick walls that help to keep it cool in the summer.
The house has a large and very secure garden (1500m2) where the children can run and play. You will enjoy the very nice pool, the ping-pong, the swing set... You can enjoy your lunch and dinner outside in the shade of plane trees, .
Nearby, nice food shop, grocery and fish restaurants.
The house is very well equiped with wi-fi, a gaz bbq, washing machine, dryer, café machine, hair dryer, the beds are very good quality (160X200 or 90X200)

Family Vacation

A wonderful property that provided a perfect, safe environment for my children and grandchildren. Nearby shops provided all our material food requirements which allowed us to BBQ all our meals for the entire stay.The huge kitchen allowed us to lay out the food and drink and let kids snack whenever during the day. The pool was large and clean. Little incentive to go outside of the villa. Great place.

Absolutely stunning

We choose our holiday around this beautiful house as it ticked all of the boxes. Holidaying as two families we found the house to be perfect with the right number of bedrooms to bathrooms, a lovely outside eating area and the fabulous pool. The house is a typical French style with lovely features. With views of the national park from your bedroom window we felt as though it was outside of Marseille. Initially I was a little concerned about holidaying in Marseille for security and safety purposes but we had no trouble at all. It’s just a case of being sensible. Charlotte was fantastic, very helpful and brilliant at English. Would certainly return.

Enchanting

This was a last minute find that easily and quickly eclipsed the original booking in Les Goudes that had been canceled. The owner responded quickly to emails and to any questions. So I'll give the hosts + five stars. I don't think I've had the pleasure of staying in a more enchanting home in the middle of a bustling city. The villa is ideally located in a quiet neighborhood at the foot of the Calanques, so beautiful hikes are 15 minutes away. And its also near the beach, so a 5 minute walk leads to local spots ideal for early morning swims. We picked this place for a yearly writing retreat for a group of academics and this house had lovely places to write and read. Its well-appointed kitchen hosted fun group meals - excellent provisions are a quick walk down the street. And for breaks, we took afternoon dips in the pool. We all loved the artworks and the villa's overall aesthetic that makes this a truly unique enjoyable stay. We are looking forward to a return visit.

Très bon séjour en août 2018

Nous avons séjourné dans cette maison deux semaines. Nous nous sommes sentis très bien dans cette grande maison familiale bien équipée et parfaite pour accueillir confortablement deux familles avec des enfants entre 8-10 ans. La maison est située dans un quartier très calme, avec une situation idéale pour découvrir les calanques, notamment pour louer un bateau au port de la Pointe Rouge qui est à 5 min à pied. Nous avons ainsi alterné les journées bateau et les visites touristiques (Cassis, centre de Marseille, à 20 min en voiture). Nous avons profité de la très belle piscine, du coin repas sous les platanes comme sur une place de village, et du terrain de pétanque. Le descriptif et les photos sont parfaitement conformes. L'accueil des propriétaires a été charmant et attentionné. Toutes les informations pratiques et utiles sont détaillées dans un "road book". Ils ont été disponibles pendant notre séjour pour répondre à une ou deux questions. A noter également tout proche à pied les quelques commerces de la Pointe rouge (boulangerie, traiteur, carrefour proximité), et des restaurants (dont Pascal 's Kitchen aux influence thaïes). Une location vraiment à recommander pour découvrir le parc national des calanques et la région de Marseille.

Incroyable

Top. Une très belle propriété très confortable, très propre. Les propriétaires sont charmants, Eric et Charlotte font tout pour que l’on s’y sente parfaitement bien. Un vrai bonheur ! On a diné dehors tous les soirs, laissé la voiture dans le jardin et tout fait à pied ou en bateau. On peut en louer un à 2 pas de la maison ( le must pour aller dans les calanques), prendre la navette maritime pour aller au centre ville (la visite du Mucem est un incontournable !) . C’est un cadre merveilleux pour découvrir Marseille que nous ne connaissions pas. Je recommande sans hésiter.

Privacy in Marseille

We stayed at this Villa during August of 2016 and really enjoyed it. The best features of the property are the privacy of the entire property (especially the new pool and the back yard for outside dining). We were concerned that the house didn't have air conditioning for our August stay, but the weather was perfect during our vacation (and each room had a fan). Air conditioning was not needed during our stay. All the bathrooms are updated to elegant modern standards. It is also a 5 min walk to the beach and plenty of good restaurants. Some parts of the house could use some TLC (touch up painting), but over-all we enjoyed staying at this property.

Un véritable enchantement !

La maison de famille dans toute sa splendeur ! Accueillante, généreuse, harmonieuse... et impeccablement tenue ! Et pour ne rien gâcher, elle est idéalement située près de la navette maritime, des plages,... Merci à ses propriétaires de l'avoir partagée avec nous pour ces quelques jours inoubliables.

Mansion in Marseille

If you plan to rent this house (mansion) in Marseille I can guarantee you are up for a treat! It is in a great, calm and cosy neighbourhood, bakery and all you need close by, great trips right outside the door and the house is just fantastic! – huge garden with lovely roses and several relaxing areas, inkl eating right outside the kitchen (brand new last year), phenomenal pool and even a boule/ pétanque area! Only thing we truly missed was air conditioning in the bedrooms – although it wasn’t a big problem due to the brickstone building which keeps out some of the heat. I envy you if you are planning a stay in this house – successful holidays guaranteed. I truly hope that my family will return anytime soon.

Un coin de paradis

Cette très belle maison est un coin de paradis à Marseille pour une famille avec des enfants , des ados et des amis . La situation est idéale pour tout faire à pied , vous êtes à moins de 10mn à pied de la plage , du port et des commerçants et à 5mn d un centre équestre et d un acrobranche situés dans un magnifique parc . Vous pouvez découvrir marseille et ses calanques en prenant un taxi boat ou en louant un bateau pour la journée ( l idéal ) . C'est aussi la maison du bonheur dans un grand jardin pour petits et grands autours de la piscine , du Ping pong, de la pétanque , du trampoline, des balançoires sans oublier les grandes tablées le soir à la bougie dans le jardin . J ai juste hâte de la relouer ! Merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil et leur gentillesse . Odile Boucher

Superbes vacances à Marseille

Nous vivons en Espagne à Marbella et nous avons retrouvé ici le charme du sud et de la Provence, avec les odeurs de lilas, jasmin, laurier, sauge, thym...du jardin. Ici, on est dans marseille mais on se sent dans un village de Provence au bord de l'eau. La maison est pleine de lumiere , pleine de caractère et de charme avec une merveilleuse piscine. Nous avons profité des vélos gentiment prêtés par les propriétaires charlotte et eric pour explorer le coin et se faire des balades bord de mer. Nous avons été très gentiment accueillis et trouver tout ce dont nous avions besoin pour nous sentir chez nous, ma fille a même pu continuer à jouer du piano. Nous renouvellerons l'expérience volontier avec des amis. Merci

Great house ! Wonderful pool !

We spent a week in April in the house and we had the best time. The house totally fulfilled our expectations - very well equipped, clean and the pool is just incredible. Location is superb, just a stone throw from the beach and it is very easy to get to the centre. The owners Charlotte and Eric were great in welcoming us and they left a good list of things to do and restaurant recommendations. We definitely recommend and we hope to come back again!

Séjour de rêve

Nous sommes tombés complètement sous le charme de cette maison que les propriétaires restaurent avec beaucoup de goût. Nous adorons l'ambiance et les choix de déco très "côté sud". Elle est très spacieuse, idéalement placée dans un environnement calme tout en étant à 2 pas de la mer et des commerces. Idéal!
