Cheryl Rowland-Nunez, our Property Manager, is a long time resident of Hopkins and a local business woman. As co-owner of a popular local tour company, she is able to assist you with any of your adventure tour needs. She lives in Hopkins and is available to assist our guests. As the owners of Casita Del Mar, we are retired Canadians who have decided that Canadian winters are no longer for us. Scuba diving enthusiasts since our honeymoon 30+ years ago, made Belize a natural spot to return to time and again. Now we have decided to 'own' a part of the dream.

The village of Hopkins is quaint and quiet but there is much to do. Everything from lounging on the beach (or hammock) to participating in the many adventure tours offered from the village. Visit ancient Mayan ruins, try zip lining, deep sea fishing, do the Black Hole drop or spend a day snorkelling or scuba diving- our personal favourite. And these are just a few of the things to do around the area.

What makes this House unique

We selected this home in Hopkins because we were taken with the quaintness of the village and the warmth of its people. The house itself is open, airy and has a wonderful porch for outdoor living and it is right on the beach. The sand is clean and the water's easy entrance is a benefit for young and the more mature alike to enjoy. We hope that you enjoy our home as much as we hope to for many years to come. We are licensed with the Belize Tourism Board (BTB).
