The large spacious rural villa ( V V licensed V V 35-3-0000932 ) offers everything you could possibly wish for for a wonderful rural holiday. FREE FIBRE OPTIC WIFI ,The villa is located in the countryside but within walking distance to local amenities.

Excellent villa and hosts

We have stayed in many villas on the island in the past but this is one of the best. Spacious, very well equipped, clean and comfortable with a private heated pool. For us the location works well being in a quiet area but close to Teguise and usual tourist sites. The hosts were really helpful throughout and visited on arrival to talk through the property. We had no issues during our stay and will definitely return

Excellent villa

This was the first time we had stayed in a villa and we couldn’t have asked for more. Julie and Dave were very friendly, the villa was very clean with all the amenities that we needed. The pool was a brilliant size and very clean as well. The teenage children loved the x box and wii! I would definitely recommend this to anyone considering a villa stay in Lanzarote.

Home away from home

7 women ranging from 8 to 75. Everyone found it very peaceful and relaxing. Very comfortable villa with everything you could need including a running machine! Spotless. Good amount of towels and a wonderful pool and sun loungers. Hosts were nearby and very friendly and available to help at any time. Nazaret is a quiet village with a small super market, local sociadad (huge gin measures!) and a restaurant that does a La carte or local casual dining. But Teguise is so close and has so many shopping and dining options that you do not feel isolated (although will need a car). We had a lovely time in Villa Mercedes!!

Julie and Dave’s villa is an amazing place to stay whatever your holiday needs, offering a base for island exploration or for a relaxing holiday around the pool.Roughly 20 mins from Arrecife Airport,the villa is easy to find and everything was as described. Julie and Dave (who are both lovely) are on hand if you need them for advice or local info.We travelled as a family of three (two adults and a teen) and the villa was perfect for us.Bedrooms - huge with lots of storage. We only used two of the four bedrooms - beds and pillows were extremely comfortable!Bathrooms - each bedroom is en-suite (with one exception where the shower room is two steps across a corridor) and there’s a separate WC also so even if you travel as a large family group, there will be plenty of showering/toileting options. Lovely soft towels too!Living areas - spacious open plan main living room, separate leisure area and dining area with a table that would comfortably seat 10.Kitchen - really well equipped kitchen with everything you need, even if you choose to eat in often.Outdoors - three of the bedrooms open out onto the terrace where there are two seating areas.Down a few steps to the pool there is also more space for sitting/lounging as well as an additional WC so you don’t have to traipse wet swimwear indoors. The large pool was the perfect temperature for October and we spent most afternoons splashing around.Definitely recommend and will absolutely come back.

Beautiful villa with fabulous pool and excellent hosts.

Julie & Dave are excellent and friendly hosts making sure your holiday is relaxing and hassle free. The villa is large with spacious rooms and is fully equipped with everything you could need for your stay. The outside seating/eating area is secluded enough to keep you away from the Lanzarote winds and sun, we had no issues enjoying meals and playing card games at any time if the day/eve. The pool is a fantastic size for swimming and playing in, although we chose not to have the water heated but wish we had as we found it too cold until the sun had heated it up after lunch. There is a local shop within 5 mins walk for food essentials and a very nice Italian restaurant in Nazaret. We walked to Teguise (about 30 mins); on Sunday market day the town was buzzing, the other evening we went there it was very quiet, food was great though. We also took a taxi to the aqua park in Costa Teguise for a great fun day out. There is a bus route though Nazaret, however we didn’t have time to sample this as we found the taxis to be efficient and cheap. All in all we had a relaxing, fabulous holiday and would definitely recommend this villa.

We visited Villa Mercedes for 8 days; 2 adults and 2 children: 6 & 8yrs. It’s owned and run by Julie and Dave. Definite pros in hospitality and very willing to accommodate. The villa is approximately 10 minutes from the airport and Costa Teguise. It’s about 5 minutes from the former capital: Teguise. I’d say a car would be ideal for the purposes of convenience. There are however buses and the option of taxis. We liked to explore the island and considered ourselves lucky to be so centrally located. I usually get eaten alive by mosquitos when I go away but I had nothing here, thankfully. The villa exceeded expectations. It is large, spacious and airy which helps to keep it cool, assisted by several ceiling fans. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are spotless. We had a choice of books, magazines, films, TV, console, Bluetooth music system, board games and cards. It had a separate lounge area too so we could do our own thing if we wanted. The kitchen had EVERYTHING. Literally. From seasoning to washing machine liquid to sellotape to a spare pair of sun glasses! The owners have clearly thought this through. Outside there is a terrace with a large undercover seating area. The pool is down the wide steps with sun loungers and umbrellas. There is also a toilet. The owners visit every other day to clean the pool and sweep the terrace. We were also provided with beach towels and floaties for the pool. The views from the terrace are idyllic - particularly in the evening. It was very tranquil and a welcomed break from a busy day of activities. We were given with a welcome hamper when we arrived which consisted of goodies, eggs, bread, milk, wine, coffee pods for the machine and lots more. The owners even remembered that we were rose drinkers and had put a bottle in the fridge. If you’re keen on staying in an immaculate, luxurious, peaceful and secure place in Lanza - this is it.

Superbe séjour à Villa Mercedes

Nous étions 2 familles et avons beaucoup apprécié la maison, son emplacement et son équipement (cuisine compris). L agencement est idéal pour 2 familles car 2 grandes chambres avec SDB à chaque extrémité de la zone de vie. Les chambres sont très spacieuses et la piscine de bonne taille et très bien exposée. Julie et Dave sont de super hôtes. Très disponibles, répondant rapidement et favorablement à toutes nos demandes. Nous recommandons vivement ce logement.

Second visit to villa Mercedes. It was really good to see the upgrades to the cooker and new curtains in the bedrooms. We really love the space and privacy both in and out of the villa. The pool is huge and warm. The tv is huge.. get the theme 😀 perfect for teenagers to hide away. Only a 30 min walk to teguise for bars and restaurants.

The perfect family villa in a peaceful location

Villa Mercedes is an extremely spacious, beautifully fitted and very well-equipped house. It's rare to find a villa with a pool of this size too (although the depth is not sufficient for diving). Given that we were there at Easter, it was worth paying a supplement to have the pool heated, as the wind had quite a cooling effect. (Note that a childproof barrier is provided if required to prevent access to the steps and pool.) Dave and Julie were very welcoming and helpful during our stay, and very discreet on the odd occasion they came to clean the pool. As others have said, the welcome pack was like nothing we'd ever experienced before - and we've stayed in a LOT of villas over the years! Fabulous - loads of fresh fruit, cheese, ham, three types of wine, bread, biscuits, crisps, milk, eggs, water, etc. - all you need to start you off! It was a real bonus to find supplies of tea, ground coffee, sugar, olive oil, herbs and spices, foil, film, and even dishwasher tablets - none of which Julie would allow us to replace. All we bought for the house was laundry detergent and softener, and a top up of kitchen and toilet rolls. Note that, unsurprisingly, care must be taken to prevent crumbs, etc, attracting ants. The bedrooms and bathrooms have plenty of storage cupboards and drawers, as does the kitchen - which is equipped with every possible gadget and accessory. The floors are fully tiled throughout, so good for those with allergies - and easy cleaning. High quality bath, hand and beach towels are provided, along with numerous chair and lounger cushions and throws for the outside area. Our (adult!) children had much fun with the Wii, and it was great to follow the Commonwealth Games on the large screen TV. Wifi was good where it worked, but didn't extend to two of the bedrooms, or onto the veranda. We were delighted with the peacefulness of the area, well away from the tourist hubs on the coast, and with the villa being just on the edge of Nazaret, the little supermarket (that sells just about everything) is a few minutes' walk away, as are two excellent restaurants. Teguise (the small, pleasant, welcoming former capital of Lanzarote,) can be reached in about 25 minutes on foot, mostly on dirt tracks, which makes for a nice walk in the evening. The track and path network also provides several routes for early morning/evening running. Other than the minor limitations of the Wifi, the villa was perfect; we would recommend it very highly!

It started with a great welcome pack from Julie and Dave. This comfortable and immaculately clean villa is situated for those wanting a well earned quiet break but has all amenities within 10 mins. Beautiful pool and outdoor area as well. All mod cons and well equipped kitchen. Thanks.

Fantastic Villa

Our family spent two weeks in this fantastic villa in the beautiful island of Lanzarote. The villa provides everything a family could need and more! It is extremely spacious with 4 large bedrooms, 2 large living areas, a fully equipped kitchen and the lovely outside space with pool. As the weather was so nice, we spent most of our time outside, but equally did use the large lounge in the evenings, treating ourselves to a news update on the TV! The pool is a great size and was warm and cleaned throughout our stay. We ate in the villa most nights, making use of the gas barbecue and would eat in the outside sheltered area, which was lovely both at lunch time and in the evening. The villa is situated in the centre of the island, which allowed us to get out and explore. We travelled around the whole island with ease, most trips taking around 20 minutes. The local shop has the key essentials, fresh bread, milk, snacks and drinks, however larger supermarkets are only a 15 minute drive away. Teguise Market is a must on a Sunday Morning too, we chose to walk which gives you a chance to see some lovely local scenery. To top it all off, Julie and Dave are fantastic owners, they really make you feel welcome, and should you need anything they are always on hand. We looked forward to seeing them when they came to clean the pool and have a good laugh. They also have lots of knowledge of the island which they clearly love. We highly recommend this spacious and luxury villa which I am sure we shall return to in the future.

Fantastic

"very spacious villa in the hills of Nazaret away form the hustle and bustle of the touristy coast. The villa was spotlessly clean on arrival with plenty of linen and towels for the pool and bathroom. There was a friendly welcome from Julie along with a free supply for the first evening including some fizz and local wine. the pool is immaculate and large enough to bash out a few km before breakfast. It was also lovely and warm, great for an evening dip bedrooms were all well decorated and the master room had a super king size bed, and a walk in closet and en suite. the lounge has a fantastic entertainment system delivered through a gigantic TV and sound bar. although the pool side was so inviting we hardly used it. convenient to get to other local towns. 15 mins to Famara for surfing and 30 mins top puerto del carmen. would recommend Lanzarote for diving, surfing, and other water sports. or just chilling and reading a book with a glass of vino.

Amazing Villa In A Rural Location

The Villa Mercedes is an ideal place for a get away from it all holiday. With its amazing pool which is completely private and the Villa lacks for absolutely nothing even down to a set of weight scales to weigh your luggage on departure. There was a welcome pack on arrival with a cold beer in the fridge, the place was spotlessly clean, it was really spacious and very comfortable. It had a BQ on the terrace with a covered eating area, where we sat out most evenings till quite late. It was so peaceful and relaxing it was very difficult to motivate yourself from leaving the place. Due to its location it is essential to have a car, whilst there is a local shop within walking distance, we did our shopping in the larger supermarket 10 minutes away by car. The property is fairly central so 20 to 30 minutes by car, will vertically get you anywhere. We have been regular visitors to Lanzarote over the past 25 years and so we tend to revisit favourite restaurants and therefore we cannot really comment on any nearby restaurants. Julie and Dave were very quick to respond to any requests for information and maintained the pool and bedding to a high class standard. This property is by far the best that we have stayed in Lanzarote. I would not hesitate to recommend this property. A big thank you to Julie and Dave. From Maralyn John

Perfect friendly hosts left a superb welcome food basket. Even gave grandchildren Easter Eggs. We had a wonderful family holiday here with ages ranging from 18 months to 83 years! Everything you need is catered for .... Wonderful. Thank you!

Beautiful spacious villa and pool!

We couldn't have asked for anything more! The villa was clean, spacious and modern. It had absolutely everything we needed. The pool area was beautiful and the owners could not have been more helpful. A wonderful holiday, thank you so much!

" FANTASTIC" THIS VILLA IS HUGE

We were blown away by the size of this villa its enormous and immaculate through out, beautiful bedding and fluffy big towels ,everything you need and more ,the pool area fantastic and the pool was like a warm bath we swam everyday ( been in villas before that said heated pool but never swam as they were freezing ) this pool brilliant , THANKYOU so very much Julie and Dave we will be back
