We had my mothers 84th birthday there the old folk played dominoes 42 and the kids played in the yard and we went to the boat ramp and pulled kids on the tube great place highly recommend it and would be a great place even in the fall to come play horseshoes in volleyball
Great place for a weekend getaway with the family. The kids loved the hammocks, swing and playing volleyball. Getting the canoe and kayaks to the lake is a bit tricky but we made it work. Will definitley stay here again.
This place was incredibly clean, quiet, and as advertised. It was perfect for us to relax at after a long day at the lake. Having laundry on site was a bonus!
We booked the treehouse for our second annual fishing trip since the marina cabins were all booked. We liked the tree house much better. It had the amenities that we needed and more. We plan on booking it next year as well.
We had so much fun staying at the tree house. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The lake access was a small hike that we enjoyed. We loved having the option of riding on the golf cart around the area.
It is a great family place as there is so much to do outside.
We plan to come back soon. The owner was very accommodating and responsive. Thanks for a great fun and relaxing weekend!

Thanks Melony for the great review! We are so happy you guys enjoy!
We had an absolute blast at the tree house! Property was very well maintained with all the amenities listed plus some. The golf cart provided made moving about the neighborhood exceptionally easy. Beach access was wonderful and the kids loved playing there! There was plenty of room for the kids to play on the property and they spent hours doung just that! Our trip was short but we made some amazing family memories in at the tree house!

We are excited you guys enjoyed and that you took advantage of all the property has to offer
We surprised our kiddo with a weekend getaway with 3 of his friends. They used the kayak and canoe and had a blast. My husband and I enjoyed hikes and quiet reading time in the great outdoors. The boys talked about making it an annual tradition since they has such a good time. We will be back!!
We visited the treehouse with our two daughters ages 4 and 5. We all had a fun time riding the golf cart around, hiking, playing card games, searching for treasures with the metal detector provided, and enjoying time together. There was also a canoe for us to use but we didn't get to do that this time. We will definitely be back!

Thank you guys and we hope you come back again! Thank you for the great review.
Ended up with better than expected weather. Enjoyed the peacefully quiet area. No luck on fishing, not that I didn’t try. Wrong time for bank fishing. We had areal pleasant time.
The cabin is very cosy and clean with all the necessary amenities. The lake is very near and has a spectacular view. We were able to enjoy the sunset at the lake. The kayaks were In very good condition and a cart was available to move the kayaks to the lake.
Hammocks, swings, a fire pit, rocking chairs BBQ stand all added to the outdoor fun.
I feel a change of mattress in the master bedroom is needed as the current mattress sinks you down in the bed. I wish wifi could work faster but overall we enjoyed our time.

Birthday/Memorial Weekend Was A Blast!!
This place is everything they said it would be. We rented the golf cart and tooled around on the trails. I would definitely take advantage of it. It was so peaceful at night sitting out under the stars on the patio. We also took advantage of the fire pit the last night. The general store they had came in handy for a few items we forgot! I loved the special touch of having it! We will definitely return again when we can find the time! Thank you so much for everything!

Why they chose this property
We purchased this property for a couple of reasons: it is not in a subdivision which allows more room and freedom, it is the perfect size for our family right now and leaves room for growth, the opportunity to make many great memories is awesome, it is ONLY 1.5 hours from our home in Dallas, the water is only 500 feet from the front door, and the Corp of Engineers property is about 15 feet from our driveway. Absolutely beautiful!
