Our family purchased this home as our summer retreat to get away from it all, it has the best of all worlds, beach front, dock, private yard, privacy, spacious accommodations, short drive to shopping, restaurants, marina, 15 minutes to Salmon Arm and friendly people!!
This property is in a great part of the Shuswap and is perfect for biking, fishing, hiking, relaxing by the lake front, going for long walks down the shoreline and watching the amazing sunsets over Cooper Island.
The boys came and had a wonderful time with the girls. A lot of good times and memories were made this past weekend!!

Awesome location right on the lake with plenty of deck and green space for hanging out, having a meal, enjoying the hot tub, games and having a fire. The water was cold but we lucked out with good weather so got to take the kayaks and stand up paddle boards out which was nice to have! The house was clean and very comfortable. Only ended up having 8 girls on our weekend away but could have slept more for sure. Cam the caretaker was great, giving a quick tour and run down then checking in as needed. Highly recommended. Would definitely come back! Thank You!
We had a great time. There was sufficient space for all four couples and kids! Loved the views and even though the weather wasn't perfect, the hot tub was a great asset. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely choose this place again for our gathering!
We did our annual get together with friends (16 of us) and decided to try somewhere new. We were amazed when we pulled up to this beautiful home with stunning views right on the water. The caretaker greeted us and was extremely friendly and helpful, giving us some amazing ideas on places to go, things to see and even where to eat locally. The house was so stunning we didn't even end up leaving. It provided us with everything we could need and more. We took full advantage of all the water toys- even though it was October! A group of us took the kayaks and canoe out to the island and did an amazing hike, as recommended. We spent our evenings around the fire pit and hot tub in the beautiful backyard! Our Mornings were spent on the massive deck with coffee and just taking in the majestic views! This place has something for everyone, We will definitely be back!
This is a perfect getaway 'home away from home' with all amenities to make for the most relaxing lakeside vacation. Six of us were blown away by this place. This spacious home, fully equipped sits directly across from the lake. The large well decorated rooms, with huge windows overlooking the lake, were so inviting making it a wonderful place to just hang out.
Each morning we sat on the front deck (which runs the length of the front of the house) with our morning coffee and looked out over the serenity of Blind Bay. During the day we went out on the dock to catch some sun, went paddling in the canoe and kayaks, and the lake is beautiful to swim in as well. The number of water toys was quite astounding - rowboat, water trampoline, a slide into the water from the dock - you name it! What fun! A short drive took us into Salmon Arm where the unique shops really caught our interest. Each of us made at least one purchase there. A huge deck extends out behind the back of the house complete with a fire pit surrounded by a great seating area, and hot tub is located to the side. This back area was our evening gathering place. Two large BBQs make it the perfect outdoor eating area. One evening after dinner, it began to drizzle a little, but we were kept completely dry because there is a huge overhanging rock wall behind the house. We were able to have a fire in the fire pit and it was sheltered from the drizzle...better still, so were we! This rock wall is a gorgeous natural feature on this property.
The beds and pillows were all so comfortable. Each of us got such a great sleep here. It's so peaceful and quiet in the evening. We all felt like we were one with nature having all of the trees on the property. My entire party would recommend this property to anyone wanting a wonderful getaway in a natural area. The lake afforded fabulous views all day long and into the evening sunset. We loved this place and hope to make it back again!
14 male golfers stayed 4 nights. Overall, our stay was excellent.
The weather was cold and we did not use any of the water sports equipment.
The water sports equipment, bikes, and other items were extensive and in really good shape.
Bedrooms and kitchen were good with lots of supplies.
The only issue was getting the custodian back to supply coat hangers and wine glasses.
The hot tub was not us to standards as the water was a milky grey.
As I say, we had a good time.
Gary, your vacation house comes as advertised, clean, spacious, nice bedrooms, great bathrooms, beautiful views, well equipped kitchen, large decks, all in all a great place for a 7 day August family vacation. Our family ranges in age from 12 to 68 years old (14 people in total) and all of us had a great time. The younger members of our group traveled to Copper Island using the paddle boards, kayak, canoe, and paddle boat, they made the trek to the top of the island, thanks for supplying the different modes of transportation. The water was clear and clean, we made great use of the water toys provided and the dock was a nice place just to lay in the sun and enjoy the rays. Hot tub was used and enjoyed by all. The large deck at the rear of the house was great, provided privacy, large enough for 14 people to sit down to eat and still lots of room for more. BBQ's got a work out and the food was great. The weather for our stay ranged during the day from 29 to 35 degrees with no rain just sunshine. Friday evening, August 19th, provided us with probably the best sunset that we have been fortune to ever see. I nearly forgot, our 4 dogs would also like to thank you too. All our dealings with you were first class and our damage deposit was returned to us promptly. Also, your resident caretakers (Cam and Jennifer) looked after us very well. Your place is a FIVE STAR vacation spot. Will we be back? YES, we will. See you in 2018.
