We enjoyed our week in the accommodation in Villeveuve. The weather was mostly very good during the week, which made it possible to sit outside during the evenings and enjoy the wonderful view of the sunsets across Lac Leman. It was, at times, quite hot and, with relatively little breeze, some of the nights were rather warm - but the weather has been like that across Europe this year! The welcoming bottle of the hosts' wine was very much appreciated. It's obviously a fairly small apartment but it was comfortably large enough for the two of us and our dog; and it was well-equipped for our self-catering needs. The location was excellent for getting around the part of Switzerland that we were based in and we enjoyed a few drives and walks. It was very slightly inconvenient that the car had to be parked 50m away from the accommodation but it was completely understandable and it did not cause any difficulties. Christine was very welcoming when we arrived and was available when we left but we did not need to trouble her in between!

Idyllic setting

A great base by a vineyard for exploring the 'riviera' region and with 4 days of blue sky, that term certainly applied. Facing distant mountains and the lake give this accommodation a dramatic outlook. Plenty of fabulous mountain, lake and woodland walks leave one spoilt for choice!

Un petit nid au milieu des vigne.L'accueil était au top. Une bouteille de vin de leur vignoble nous attendait sur la table, délicieux apéro !La petite maison a tout ce dont on a besoin, de plus elle reste fraîche malgré les températures élevées.Les couchers de soleil sur la lac Léman étaient au rendez-vous.Les transports publics sont à moins de 10 minutes à pied (gratuits grâce au pass Riviera) et la plage de Villeneuve à peine 15 minutes à pied.On reviendra !Merci pour votre accueil et votre maisonnette.

Es war einfach herrlich! Ein kleines Haus mit allem, was man brauchen könnte. Ein Ofen für kalte Tage, Privatsphäre. Das Beste: wunderbare Sicht auf den See vom Sitzplatz mit Sonnenuntergang inklusive. Gratis Parkplatz und trotz abgelegener Lage mitten in den Rebbergen nur max. 10 Minuten zu Fuss! zum Bahnhof und Einkaufen und baden im Genfersee ! Super freundliche Gastgeberin und alles sauber. Top!!

Gute Lage, man ist schnell am Bahnhof von Villeneuve und am See. Gut erreichbar.Die Wohnung gibt einen tollen Blick über den See und in das Rhonetal. Sie ist zweckmäßig und vollständig ausgestattet, wir haben nichts vermisst.

5 jours à Villeneuve en juin

Super séjour chez Christine dans un beau domaine viticole;la maisonnette est petite mais confortable (très bonne literie ! Et lit double spacieux !! ):c’est largement suffisant pour une personne ou un couple .La petite terrasse orientée au soleil depuis le matin jusqu’au soir donne pleine vue sur le lac. Environnement au calme sur les hauteurs de Villeneuve avec accès au centre ville en 15 minutes à pied. Nombreuses balades et excursions à faire aux alentours.(Les Pleiades ,Verbier,Villard sur sillon,la magnifique Riviera entre Villeneuve et Montreux la réserve naturelle de Villeneuve etc… ) Et en extra une bouteille de vin du vignoble à l’arrivée !Merci pour votre accueil Christine,je reviendrai avec plaisir !

Lac et vélo

Une hôte chaleureuse. Un logement idéalement situé dans les vignes , à 10 minutes à pied du lac et d’une gare qui permet de se rendre rapidement à Lausanne. Vue magnifique de la petite terrasse ensoleillée. Très agréable séjour.

Petit havre de tranquillité

Dans les vignes avec vue sur le Léman et les montagnes, à cinq minutes des transports (offerts sur le réseau local) et de l'autoroute. Un accueil des plus chaleureux. Nous y reviendrons avec plaisir.

Schönes Quartier

Nettes Häuschen mit allem eingerichtet, was man braucht. Madame Allamand ist sehr nett und auch die Nachbarn waren uns sehr freundlich behilflich. Ruhige Lage in der Natur,und trotzdem ist man zu Fuß in 10 Minuten - zurück durch die kleine Steigung etwas länger ;) - am Bus oder Zug Richtung Montreux.
