In the heart of a private wooded estate, 15 km from Tours, and a stone's throw from Villandry or Azay-le-Rideau, le manoir du Breuil (XV century) will charm you with its vast rooms, its old floor tiles, its exposed beams, its fireplaces and its thick walls which contribute to the charm of this house, offering you an authentic and refined setting, but with all the comfort you need to spend wonderful holidays with your family or friends (parties are not allowed)


400mÂČ on 3 levels - 7 bedrooms including 1 bedroom and its shower room on the ground floor accessible to certain people with reduced mobility (2 steps) - 5 bathrooms or showers - 100 hectares of enclosed parkland and meadows - century-old trees - view over the Indre river with boat and canoe available. Swimming pool, table tennis, badminton and piano in the outbuildings, to be shared with the gĂźte du moulin (4 pers) and the gĂźte du chĂąteau (5 pers). WIFI - Very quiet site and large outdoor spaces - , Weber charcoal BBQ, outdoor tables and chairs. Animals nearby (donkey, ox and sheep).

Included : electricity, wood for the fireplace (within the limit of 2 steres/week, if additional request, 65 euros/stere)
Optional extra charge of 20 euros per person: bed linen and towels,
Compulsory cleaning fee of 250 euros.

Eleven if us, aged 13 to 80, enjoyed a delightful holiday here. The Manor is well-equipped, nicely furnished, and plenty big enough for a large party. It is well-situated for most of the major attractions of the Loire Valley. The grounds offer swimming, cycling, boating, walking, and a wide variety of games. The hostess, Anne Paillard, is very responsive, helpful & charming. It could not have been better.

Beautifull manoir in secluded park

Very comfortable house with plenty of space, and well equiped kitchen. Beautiful location secluded in park, close to river.Surrounded by bird sounds and in company of both animals we enjoyed the terrace and lawn as wel as the canoe and cycling in the park.We will come back if we get the chance, still much to discover in the neighbourhood!We

Fantastic Manoir

We had an amazing week at the manoir. The house and the surroundings are absolutely beautiful. We really enjoyed playing table tennis, exploring the river by boat and petting the sweet donkey on the property. It’s a perfect place to stay with a larger group, with plenty of space for everyone. Bakeries and supermarkets are very close by, which was really convenient. The area is peaceful and spacious, with a river and woods right on the property. We loved every moment of our stay and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect holiday destination!

Thank you so much Anne for an amazing French Christmas experience thoroughly enjoyed by all. We stayed nearly 2 weeks in the Manoir. Plenty of space for everyone. We ended up having snow on Christmas Day which was a treat. The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen we have ever seen! Has absolutely everything you can think of. Made Christmas lunch a breeze!Beds super comfy and warm.We loved the fire place - we spent a lot of time in front of it playing cards. Hitchy the donkey and Napoleon the bull were a great surprise - very friendly animals - Hitchy loved carrots! We would hunt them day each day to say hello!We felt very safe and secure on the estate - didn’t have to lock doors. Easy to get in and out.The area of Monts is really lovely - very picturesque with an old church. Supermarkets and boulangerie very close by. One stop on the train into Tours.Chateau nearby. Magnifique endroit pour un séjour entre amis

Nous avons passĂ© 4 jours au manoir entre amis avec enfants . Le manoir ainsi que le domaine sont magnifiques! Le cadre est top , vert , calme , reposant . Il y a de quoi occuper tout le monde : piscine , orangerie avec jeux , la riviĂšre avec canoĂ« et la barque 
etc Les photos correspondent bien au logement ( c’est juste plus grand en vrai ! ) Tres bien Ă©quipĂ© , bonne literie . Bref tout le monde est ravis :) encore merci .

Un petit weekend de rĂȘve !

Nous Ă©tions un groupe de 15, tout le monde s'est trouvĂ© trĂšs bien logĂ© dans des chambres spacieuses et bien amĂ©nagĂ©es. Le manoir est un endroit gĂ©nial. La cuisine est toute moderne et bien Ă©quipĂ©e. Nous avons pu profiter de la piscine qui n'Ă©tait pas trop froide, nous avons aussi profitĂ© du badminton, du baby foot. Nous avons fait de la barque sur l'Indre et un barbecue. Endroit impeccable pour passer un weekend en grand groupe, au calme avec beaucoup de visites Ă  faire aux alentours. Nous sommes ravis, nous sommes prĂȘts Ă  revenir. Nous recommandons fortement ... sans oublier la dame qui nous a accueillis et qui est tout simplement charmante.

Merveilleux endroit, en pleine verdure, avec un grand parc, des animaux, l'Indre qui borde la propriĂ©tĂ©. Bel espace dans le manoir. Cuisine bien Ă©quipĂ©e. BĂ©mol : la plaque de cuisson quand on est un grand groupe. Merci aux 2 fours qui ont bien aidĂ©s ! PropriĂ©taire Ă  l'Ă©coute : problĂšmes au dĂ©marrage qui ont pu ĂȘtre rĂ©solus, avec une remise correcte sur le tarif final. Two glorious weeks in the Loire valley

The property is enormous. Very French and very peaceful. We had a 5 and a 2 year old with us and it was perfect for them. Lovely swimming pool (plus unfortunately a swarm of bees/wasps) games room, boats and swings. Older children would get very bored. A welcome pack of at least milk and maybe bread would be good. Supermarket is very good but a drive away. We stayed for two weeks and I was surprised bedding and towels not changed in that time. Monts is small but adequate. It’s a lovely tranquil place to stay but very French. Welcoming lady has no English though the owner who lives in the Chateaux in the grounds speaks English well.

One of the best holidays we have ever had. Perfect for us. our family and friends of all ages witn great facilities at the Manoir and interesting places to visit nearby. Added bonus is that it was an easy drive from the channel pirts.

Het is werkelijk een geweldig vakantie verblijf. Prachtige omgeving.

Het Manoir is een heerlijke vakantie woning. Alles zit er in. De keukenspullen zijn zeer uitgebreid. Wij zijn nu voor de 2e keer geweest. Voor de kinderen een zwembad en een speelzaal met tafeltennis en voetbalspel. In de bossen kun je een fijne wandeling maken en het kleinvee is ook heel gezellig. De os, ezel en schaap.

Nous avons sĂ©journĂ© au manoir pour un weekend en famille. L'endroit est trĂšs joli et agrĂ©able, notamment les extĂ©rieurs, avec de grands espaces, des animaux pour le plaisir des plus petits, une jolie piscine etc. L'intĂ©rieur est Ă©galement agrĂ©able, "dans son jus" et plutĂŽt bien Ă©quipĂ©. TrĂšs propre. Seuls bĂ©mols : la qualitĂ© de certaines literies et le surcoĂ»t par personne pour avoir des draps et une serviette de toilette (vraiment cher pour avoir un drap et seulement une serviette par personne), qui franchement pourrait ĂȘtre inclus dans le prix pour une location de ce standing...

Amazing stay

What a place. We stayed with a couple of families here and it was an amazing experience. From boating on the river to walking through the grounds, it was amazing. Save some carbon emissions by checking out the Californian sequoias onsite too - some of the amazing and varied trees that have been growing there for over 100 years. The kind of place that you can just let kids over 6 run freely, you won't regret booking here. Anne very helpful too. Probably best for bigger groups than nuclear families. Also probably a bit too quiet for teenagers.

Un immense parc colorĂ© aux teintes d’automne,entourant un grand manoir de charme trĂšs bien equipĂ©.Des soirĂ©es prĂšs d’une grande cheminĂ©e au feu de bois .bref un petit moment de bonheur familial avec des visites multiples aux alentours . Merci Anne
