Rural setting in midst of quaint, small, historic town w/plenty of activities

This is a beautifully furnished condo in beautiful setting with a pond complete with resident ducks, and if you listen carefully you can hear Plum Creek running on the back edge of the property. It features a large garden tub/Jacuzzi in the master bathroom, huge wooden furnished deck overlooking the pristine grounds that guests sip their wine on at night while listening to the outside stereo speakers and counting the stars. There is a barbecue pit for grilling in the back yard and a complete kitchen and all the requirements for making a gourmet meal inside. Perfect for visiting family or friends, temporary company/corporate employees or consultants in lieu of a hotel/motel room.

The condo had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped. The place was immaculately cleaned. We even had a garage to park in! I will definitely use this property the next time I visit Canal Fulton.

Nice accommodations

We had a few complications, but the owner took care of all issues. Accommodations were nice and exactly as described. Enjoyed our stay.

Thanks for the review. Sorry the water heater let us down. Please come back, or visit my beach front condos in Orange Beach, AL on the beach (2 & 3 br). Also have a 2 br condo in New Orleans.

Last minute trip

This was a last minute trip and booked the night before. Owner was very responsive and everything went smoothly. The accommodations were great and very, very clean! Check in process was very easy.

Great Place and Location

We were in town to attend my granddaughter's first communion and a lacrosse tournament my grandson was playing in. We needed extra space since my son's house could not sleep all of us comfortably. This facility was only a 9 minute drive from his house and meet all or our needs.

Quite and close to attractions

All was well but there was no bed in the second bedroom. It would have been nice if this was clearly noted in the listing. Other than that is was a great stay!

There is no bed in the second bedroom because when I'm there with my wife I use it as an office with desk and chair. The chair can easily be removed or relocated in the room and the sofa bed in the room opened to create a bedroom. If anyone is averse to a sofa bed there is an air bed furnished with electric air supply that can be blown up in minutes and is very comfortable. I also provide a sofa bed in the living room for a third "bedroom".

My only complaint was we arrived at 6:00pm, and had no idea how to get in. Future reference….. Email or phone your renter ahead.Otherwise, Cute place, very accommodating and close to town… Everything was clean, good experience. Thanks!!

Please look a little closer at your e-mail. You were sent an Introduction on Feb. 9--5 days before your arrival--stating how to get in.

Misrepresented, outdated, hideaway

Started the stay by having to contact the property manager to get check in information only 48 hours before our arrival. When we arrived, there was food stains on the kitchen table and chairs. In the kitchen, coffee maker, sink drain, and dish drainer were either dirty or had soap scum on them, which was upsetting after having to pay a cleaning fee that was not completed. The TV had smudges all over it. The outside furniture is run down, which was a disappointment as we had hoped to spend the evening out there enjoying the view. The location is the best thing about this property. When the property manager was contacted about our issues, we were condescendingly told to find a hotel. The photos are outdated and do not cover most of the property. He also blamed other renters for the run down appearance, but if he cared about the property so would the renters.

We're very sorry you were disappointed. We have never had a complaint such as yours as I'm sure you noticed before choosing the property. We try to maintain a very high standard of cleanliness. You were not told to find a hotel, but you were urged to find other accommodation in the future given the pettiness of your complaints.
