Located 10 min from the A20 highway, 30 min from the A89 highway, 15 min from Sarlat, 1 km from Saint Julien de Lampon and Carlux, market towns with every convenience (grocer's shop, bakery, butcher, and pharmacy) and 200 m from the Dordogne river and its pebbled beaches.

House for rent in every season (electric heating) with open plan kitchen (clothes washer, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, freezer (two doors), and electric oven). Lounge (flat screen TV, DVD, radio-CD, and Wi-Fi). 2 large bedrooms (beds of 160 x 200), 1 bed of 90 x 200, 1 baby cot, shower room with teak furniture.
Garden furniture in the private terrace with a barbecue and a ping-pong table.
Heated pool (28° minimum) has an electric cover, shared with the owners, located in a beautiful and enclosed terrain (independent access).

A lovely stay in a perfect place for our family. Superbly located to be able to see all the amazing things there are to see in the area supported by the lovely family and owners of the property.The owners cared about our stay and were very keen to help us and support questions, but most of all were lovely and we even had the pleasure of meeting their grandchildren.Also, Carlux is a lovely spot and we were lucky enough to be able to enjoy the annual Crepes festival.

Lovely accommodation and swimming pool

The property is high quality and very clean with a very nice swimming pool set in pretty, well cared for gardens. The property owners are lovely and very helpful. Nice restaurant and pizza take away close by and the village of Carlux is beautiful with many amenities.

Perigord Noir, France 2025

Apartment was clean and airy. Two good size bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen with indoor seating area. Also there is a nice seating area outside. Pool was kept in excellent condition by the host. The location is very good for exploring the Dordogne area. Excellent hosts too. Merci Beaucoup, Yves et Nadia.

A Wonderful Place to Stay

A wonderful property. The photograph does not do it justice. Everything was to the highest standard and carefully thought out. Parking was easy and the swimming pool was very good. We were given plenty of information about places to visit and there are many. You can use a footpath above the grounds of the property to walk to the banks for the Dordogne river where there are two restaurants. Simple food but good. The property was difficult to find and some in depth instructions or a small map would have been helpful. All in all, a perfect short break. We would certainly like to return.

We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad,Met als gastheer Yve een super heer, ,en super mevrouw Nadia die je privé toe laat, en indien nodig je zal bij staan.Heerlijk verwant zwembad met een prachtige verzorgde tuin errond.het vakantiehuis had al het nodige met twee ruime slaapkamers.veel te bezichtigen dichtbij,de moeite waard.een plus voor de prijs.

Bon séjour dans une très belle région!

Très bon séjour chez Yves et Nadia. Bien située à proximité des lieux incontournables du Périgord. La maison est au milieu de la verdure avec une magnifique terrasse plein sud où il est difficile de rester tant le soleil tape, elle permet cependant d’avoir des nuits plutôt fraîches en plein mois d’août mais également beaucoup d’humidité à l’intérieur... Pour la piscine il faudra vous rendre en face sur le terrain des propriétaires qui vous laissent tranquillement profiter de leur immense piscine et ont su rester très discret lorsque Ns y étions. A savoir les problèmes de téléphonie et internet et ce malgré toute la bonne volonté des propriétaires vous serez peu ou pas joignable. Bientôt la fibre qui devrait tout résoudre. Ils ont tout prévu. Côté intérieur vous trouverez 2 immenses chambres, une salle de bain et un salon salle à manger conforme à la description. Certains équipements (aspirateur, sèche-cheveux, poêle..) sont quelque peu vieillissants et mériterai un remplacement mais je suis certaine qu’en en parlant aux propriétaires, chose que nous n’avons pas fait, ils feront le nécessaire. Merci à eux pour leur gentillesse et leurs conseils avisés sur leur belle région.

Annonce non conforme ni réseau téléphonique ni internet

La location concernée n’est pas couverte par le réseau téléphonique notamment d’Orange et ne dispose pas de ligne fixe sans que cela soit mentionné dans l’annonce et que les propriétaires nous aient prévenus préalablement lors des différents échanges. Le wifi ne fonctionnait pas non plus, bien que prévu au contrat. Le dispositif est constitué par une box dans la maison des propriétaires située à plusieurs dizaines de mètres avec un relai dans la location. Par deux fois, les propriétaires, absents à notre arrivée et alertés par nos soins, ont envoyé des intervenants qui ont relancé la box qui fonctionnait. Mais, vérification faite, le signal wifi se coupait systématiquement à mi-chemin entre la maison principale et la location. Donc nous ne pouvions ni émettre, ni recevoir d'appels téléphoniques ni avoir accès à internet. Ces deux éléments constituaient des critères de base fondamentaux sans lesquels nous n’aurions pas loué cette maison et comme aucune solution ne pouvait être apportée par les propriétaires, nous avons, après prévenance, quitté la location, le contrat n’étant manifestement pas rempli. Malgré nos demandes réitérées aux propriétaires, ceux-ci ont refusé le remboursement de la location. Ce comportement dénote que ces propriétaires ne sont pas dignes de confiance.

Wonderful holiday in perfect location

Spacious, clean, well equipped property in beautiful surroundings. Lovely pool. Two restaurants within 200 yards one with lovely views over the Dordogne. Nadia the owner went to a lot of trouble to describe the best places to visit in the area. It had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.

Propriétaires bienveillants et discrets. Très bons conseils et très pertinents qui ont permis de rendre notre séjour agréable. Seul petit bémol sur la location: l'entrée du logement n'est possible que par une chambre (les baies vitrées ne s'ouvrant que de l'intérieur)

Gastvrije ontvangst in zeer comfortabele woning vlakbij de rivier

We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door gastvrouw Nadia en gastheer Yves, die ons overlaadden met nuttige tips voor uitstapjes en gastronomische geneugten. Het huis was zeer comfortabel en goed uitgerust en opvallend koel ondanks het extreem hete weer. Het mooi gelegen zwembad bracht nog wat extra verkoeling. Top verblijf, een absolute aanrader !

Das Haus liegt ruhig nicht weit vom Fluss entfernt. Terasse ist sonnig mit Sonnenschirm. Parkplatz am Haus. Bei der Anfrage Nebenkosten der Vermieterin nachfragen. Haus ist schön sauber und geräumig alles da. Gutes Restaurant im naheliegenden Hotel. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten zu Fuß kaum vorhanden
