Hi Drew, Yes, imagine our frustration when something totally out of our control happens. Luckily, we have three hot tubs on the property and two were affected. We ordered the part as soon as we were aware, so we tried as best as we could and sorry this happened. We appreciate the feedback and are very happy to see that you and your guests enjoyed this fantastic, remolded condo. Love hearing that the unit was "super clean" as our housekeeping crew is top notch and they work hard making sure every condo is clean and tidy for our guests' arrivals. It is very nice having our own on-site housekeeping and maintenance crew here on the property for anything that may arise. 100% agree on the view, it's definitely beautiful with a great view of the lake and park which is next to the condo. This condo definitely had a huge remodel over the summer of 23' and it is one of our highest rated (by the local Chamber of Commerce) condos on the property. Overall, we are happy to see that you had a "great stay" and that is what it is all about. Give us a shout for your next visit to the Vail/Beaver Creek area as we'd love to host you again. Great condo and great location

I would stay here again. We all had a great stay at this large and comfortable condo. Kids and adults both enjoyed the location and amenities nearby. Wonderful space and everyone had their own bathrooms which is a plus. Highly recommend!

Give us a call if your summer plans include a trip to this area.Our great location is along side of the 48 acre Nottingham Park and it is action packed all summer long. The park has SUP and paddle-boat rentals, fishing, ball fields, public beach area, sand volleyball courts, 40,000 sq. ft. recreation center, charcoal grill, group pavilion, free concerts, yoga, dance performances, great playgrounds and disc golf to name a few. Great space and amenities!

Property was great for a ski vacation! Shuttle to Beaver Creek was great. We had a few maintenance issues while we were there, but the lodging staff took care of it very quickly and we're very responsive. I will definitely stay there for future trips. Great views!!!

Family wedding

3 couples rented this condo for a wedding. Beautiful vaulted ceilings make it feel very open. Beautiful view of the mountains and lake from the balcony. Loved that each bedroom had a private bath. Kitchen drawers were fully stocked with everything we needed. Comfortable beds.

Family fun

Overall great time, but others don’t follow rules about quiet hours, smoking and COVID (few masks). The unit is lovely and well appointed- but quite warm, so windows must be open at night when it’s hot. And people party loudly outside and smoke all night, all of which comes in. Other than nights,we had a good time!

Thank you for the four out of five star review and sorry that we can't control what some of the other guest are doing at the property. Sometime the heat is caused from the fantastically large windows that provide the spectacular views of the ski slopes of Beaver Creek and the Nottingham Lake and we are so glad that the evening temperatures in the summer are about 50 so how nice to enjoy the fresh air. Also hoping that you were able to enjoy Nottingham Lake and Beach and so many other positives of this location. We hope you can come and stay with us again, so give us a shout when are ready to enjoy Beaver Creek West again. Safe travels!

Great view and location

Overall good place! We enjoyed the view of the mountains in the mornings. The place is not updated but very spacious , with high ceilings and comfortably accommodated two families with smaller kids for a week. City shuttle is within 3 min walk. No issues with parking. Few things - Check in after hours instructions can be a little more explained. We arrived after dark and had a little trouble to find the building since were not familiar with the area. Also, it could use updated extra pillows. Some pillows were rock hard. Overall we did like this unit and would return!

Yes this very spacious condo is indeed nice and comfortable for a large group, glad it worked well for your two families. Interesting that you felt the condo was not upgraded to your expectations. We do have over 50 options to choose from for condo rentals at BCW. We definitely have higher end condos available, but as one would expect this price is a bit more. We do provide many photos of the unit, so please make sure to look at those in the future. Sorry that the check in instructions were confusing in any way, we have found that a map of the property and the guests doors codes have worked well for the majority of our late arriving guests in the past. Happy to hear you used the town bus that is down the street, but we hope you were able to use the free skier shuttles that Beaver Creek West provides to both Vail and Beaver Creek. The Beaver Creek shuttle runs seven days a week and picks you up right out side your door, the Vail free skier shuttle runs five days a week. Also sorry to hear the pillows were a bit firm for you liking, there were some extras in the hall closet, so hopefully you were able to find one that was better for you during your stay. Please come back and stay with us at Beaver Creek for your next mountain visit. Cheers and safe travels!

Great location, Great View.

Terrific location with an easy use free bus and shuttle system to the local gondola, Beaver Creek Village, or Vail. The shuttle pickup was at the door for our building and the bus stop was at the entrance to the condo complex. A nice and roomy, but spread out condo, with plenty of room for the 8 of us (4 adults 4 teenagers). The gentleman at the front desk was so helpful and nice, he was really great. We ended every ski day with beers on the balcony with the best view in the entire complex. Only thing I would recommend is the owner get some memory foam mattress toppers for the beds, I've slept in worse but it would be a small $ fix for a less than perfect mattress situation. Overall highly recommended and we will happily come back on our next ski trip to Vail/Beaver Creek.

Free and easy, that's how everyone likes to get to the slopes. Jake has been at our front desk for a very long time and yes he is very helpful and can answer about every question you could come up with. Nice Holiday stay!

We enjoyed our Holiday stay at the spacious, newly renovated condo. Plenty of room for 3 couples each with our own queen bed and bathroom. The unit is well equipped and nicely furnished. The ski shuttle was convenient or a short walk to the Gondola at the Westin got us to the slopes quickly. The actual condo building is dated and is in need of updating but did not negatively affect our trip. Now I understand why there are not any photos of the condo building. VRBO has been very frustrating for us lately. We had to pay an extra day for a 5 day minimum after previously agreeing to our 4 days. At least it was better than the previous rental owner who cancelled on us at the last moment after we paid the deposit. VRBO did nothing to address the issue. I would rent the unit again, nor sure about using VRBO!

Great location and space for family!

Our family of 7, with 5 children ages 12-19 were in town for a June wedding at Beaver Creek. This location was perfect! We were overlooking the mountains and a lake that had a walking trail, small beach, beach volleyball and paddle boards and peddle boat rentals. We were in walking distance of restaurants and shops and walked into town and rented bikes one day. We also hiked in the mountains. Our kids enjoyed the tennis courts, pool and hot tub on property. We had plenty of comfortable space for our family and greatly appreciated the host providing tennis racquets, board games, kitchen necessities and utensils including coffee filters, iron and ironing board (for wedding clothes :) and much more! The kitchen table had plenty of room for our whole family. We also really enjoyed the grill and sitting out on the balcony. We would definitely come back, thank you!

Amazing place!

This place is amazing, perfect location and plenty of space. My family of 4 had a blast, the place was so nice and well stocked with all the amenities of home. Everything was better than expected.

Ski trip

Great place for a ski trip. Was able to comfortably sleep 7 of us. It is very convenient. We spent a few hours on the mountain and came back for our lunch breaks before going right back up. That way we did not have to buy $15 and up lunch meals on the mountain. My only complaints are the internet is very slow. We could not watch any movies without continuous buffering. We also could not get the heater to work in the master (possible user error). Overall great place. I will plan another trip here in the future.

Enjoyed our Stay in Avon

First of all, the view from the balcony is just beautiful, so that was a huge plus! The condo was clean and there's a comfortable living area to hang out in, when we weren't outside. We took advantage of the pool and hot tubs, which was really fun. On top of that, it's conveniently located and walking distance to shops and restaurants. That said, a few things could be improved upon to provide the best possible experience and make it really special. The biggest issue was that the toilets in both double bedrooms have either a clog in the line or insufficient pressure. They require multiple flushes to get waste down, and we actually had to plunge one. We did not call maintenance, because it wa a short stay and, since it was a problem in 2 out of 3 bathrooms, we assumed it has been an issue for awhile. We just flushed several times after each use, waiting for the tank to fill in between. Very inconvenient but not catastrophic. All were cleanly flushed upon our departure, and we left very early in the morning or would have reported it on our way out. One other area of concern is the tilted walkway to the condo door (up, down and slightly sideways in spots). Someone who is not steady on their feet might find that a challenge. We also saw maintenance securing wood planks to the bottom of some balconies, which makes you wonder how stable they are. A couple nice touches would have offset minor annoyances like that and hard mattresses (which some might like, but we didn't). Things like shampoo, conditioner and lotion, current Vail magazines and even a little basket of local goods would have been wonderful! Having stayed in many. many vacation rentals. I know that people remember these things. All in all, it was a really enjoyable stay because it such a beautiful area, and we had very clean and comfortable accommodations.

Many thanks for taking time to write a review on our Beaver Creek West condo, we appreciate the feedback. We truly wish you would have called our onsite maintenance staff during your three night stay, which is why we have them 24/7. Glad you liked so many aspects about the condo as well as our many other guests as you can tell from the many 5 star reviews. Since maintenance was not called and the issue is not an issue "for a while" we are now just finding out this through this "review" and it will be resolved ASAP. With that said we also appreciate your assumption on the other decks on the property as we are doing a complete rebuild of a handful of condos decks this summer, so that is why you saw some maintenance being done. Also the easy sloping walkways are much easier on folks with luggage and those who "might not be steady on their feet" than adding stairs, stairs and more stairs as you can image. It is also a bit easier and safer for water and snow removal, for safety. Happy to hear that you enjoyed our awesome pool and hot tubs and how clean and comfortable the condos was and we hope that some of these assumptions won't effect your return to the beautiful property and fantastic prices of Beaver Creek West. Great unit and great location. The free shuttle to Beaver Creek and Vail was priceless!

This place had all the necessities for a perfect guy’s ski weekend. Slept 6 comfortably, and we enjoyed the proximity to Vail and Beaver Creek resorts, as well as the walking distance to several restaurants.

Wonderful Beaver Creek Condo on a lake!

This condo was perfect for our weekend in Beaver Creek. The view of the lake was breathtaking, especially in the evenings as the sun was setting. The lake is just a short walk away and we enjoyed fishing, plus you can rent paddle boards and paddle boats. There is a playground for the kids and picnic areas. We did not use the pool or hot tub. The front desk staff was exceptional - very professional. The owner responded immediately when I had questions before booking. The bathrooms and kitchen were all updated. The large dining table was perfect for eating and board games. The living room furniture was comfy. The only downside was that the beds were very hard and there was no air conditioning or fans, and it got a bit hot. They provide hand soap in the bathrooms, toilet paper, plus paper towels and dishwasher pods, but no dish soap. Overall, I would recommend this condo.

Wonderful Condo

Beautiful condo and I loved the set up with each bedroom having their own bath. Management was very helpful in every way. We were very happy with this condo.

Perfect for a ski weekend. Convenient to BC and Vail, clean, updated and well appointed.

This is a nice unit in a great location. It appears to have been recently updated and was very clean and comfortable. Each of the 3 rooms has its own attached full bath. The kitchen had new appliances and was well appointed. There is a heated pool with hot tubs and a sauna just behind the building. The unit is a 4th floor unit but there is elevator access as well as a set of stairs. The shuttles stop right infront of the building. We didn't take the free Vail shuttle so I can't comment on where it drops off. However, we did use the free shuttle to BC. It doesn't actually take you to BC. Instead it drops off at the nearby Westin hotel in Avon. From there you have 2 options. There is a free gondola from the Westin that takes you to a lower chairlift. We did that twice and it worked great. The other option is the free Avon ski bus that stops at the Westin and will take you right to the base near the Centennial lift. We did the reverse of that to get home a couple times. Two great options. We found Avon to be a great option for access to Vail and BC without the cost of being right on the mountain. There are good places to eat, shopping, and ski shops with ski rentals all within walking distance to this unit. Can't wait to visit again next year, and would definately stay in this unit at BC West again!
