About Kevin Lewis

Our ancestors helped settle Pine Valley and we're proud of their great heritage here. We've spent a lot of time roaming these hills, and caring for the properties here. After starting my own family I decided to take a more serious stake in the area. In 2011, we purchased the Brandin' Iron Steakhouse (it was closed at the time) and began renovations. With the success of the restaurant we looked across the street and found a great opportunity to restore the old Pine Valley Lodge. With a little TLC we've transformed it into an ideal location for reunions and retreats. The Lodge opened in May of 2015.

Kevin Lewis purchased this lodge in 2014

Why Kevin Lewis chose Pine Valley

Pine Valley is a place like no other. Just a few miles from the red sandstone, but thousands of feet above the desert - way up in the mountains, sits a pristine green valley surrounded by huge ponderosa pines. Pine Valley provides a refreshing and rejuvenating escape from the rugged desert landscape and the Pine Valley Lodge is a perfect place to come together.

Less than 150 people call Pine Valley home so this is a place where you can truly get away from it all. As a boy, I had friends who owned the property. The Lodge and cabins were our base camp for discovery. Now I'm rekindling those boyhood adventures for my own family, and creating refreshing opportunities for other families like yours!

What makes this lodge unique

A rustic pine lodge, a wooden plank deck, the smell of ponderosa pine, the sight of mule deer grazing on the grass at sunset, brilliant starlit skies at night and the sound of silence. What more could you ask for in a refreshing get-a-way? Once you experience the solitude here, you may never want to leave.

We love this place!

  • 5 of 5

This was our third year having our family Christmas party here. We had around 60 people of all ages, and were very comfortable! The place has everything you could need. Great atmosphere, with lots of space, games for the kids, fire pit, outside activities, plenty of parking, lots of sitting and visiting areas, huge fridge and freezer, laundry facilities, and plenty of dishes and cookware. We will keep coming back!

We all had a wonderful time. My grandson said "this was the best family reunion yet"! We hiked, ate, played, and slept well. Thank you for providing such a great place for us.

We did have a couple issues. The family that stayed in the roost had to change beds because the sheets were "like paper". I think we would bring our own pillows and towels and maybe an extra blanket or two next time.

The kitchen was well stocked and having the commercial size freezer and refrigerator was fabulous. We had plenty of space for our Thanksgiving Feast.

The weather couldn't have been better for this time of year. Thanks for ordering the beautiful temperatures! ;-)

BEST family reunion spot!

  • 5 of 5

This is the 3rd year we have booked this property for our family reunion because it is perfect! We have a very large family and it accommodates us very nicely. It's comfortable and homey and such a fun place for us to gather. The cousins run and play all day outside with so many things to do from horse shoes to volleyball. Just one mile own the street is a lake and this year we found a really fun hike to do with the kids. Pine Valley is just so beautiful! The ownership is so easy to work with and always very helpful for what ever we need. We have wonderful life long memories in the Pine Valley Lodge and we plan on coming back every year!
