About Kevin Lewis
Our ancestors helped settle Pine Valley and we're proud of their great heritage here. We've spent a lot of time roaming these hills, and caring for the properties here. After starting my own family I decided to take a more serious stake in the area. In 2011, we purchased the Brandin' Iron Steakhouse (it was closed at the time) and began renovations. With the success of the restaurant we looked across the street and found a great opportunity to restore the old Pine Valley Lodge. With a little TLC we've transformed it into an ideal location for reunions and retreats. The Lodge opened in May of 2015.

Why Kevin Lewis chose Pine Valley
Pine Valley is a place like no other. Just a few miles from the red sandstone, but thousands of feet above the desert - way up in the mountains, sits a pristine green valley surrounded by huge ponderosa pines. Pine Valley provides a refreshing and rejuvenating escape from the rugged desert landscape and the Pine Valley Lodge is a perfect place to come together. Less than 150 people call Pine Valley home so this is a place where you can truly get away from it all. As a boy, I had friends who owned the property. The Lodge and cabins were our base camp for discovery. Now I'm rekindling those boyhood adventures for my own family, and creating refreshing opportunities for other families like yours!
What makes this Lodge unique
A rustic pine lodge, a wooden plank deck, the smell of ponderosa pine, the sight of mule deer grazing on the grass at sunset, brilliant starlit skies at night and the sound of silence. What more could you ask for in a refreshing get-a-way? Once you experience the solitude here, you may never want to leave.

We used this vacation retreat for our family reunion. The entire grounds and building was accomadating for our large group. We find some of the beds are ready for an upgrade but overall EVERYONE loved their time here. Lucky for us the weather was beautiful and our children spent lots of time outside on the volleyball court, basketball court, swing set, Fort & playing soccer on the grass. We only left a few times for hikes and fishing at the reservoir. One of our favorites was the fire pit. There was so much there that easily brought us together.
We had a blast; thank you
The property is as advertised; spacious and comfortable. We had 29 adults and plenty of room to spare (we didn't even touch 3 of the cabins and everyone had their own bed).
The refrigerator water and ice machines were not working, but Jeff was gracious enough to offer ice from the restaurant across the street (and delivered it himself the first time!)
The kitchen was large and our group was able to flex their culinary know how with all the cooking utensils that we needed.
Perfect for a large family!
This was one of our best vacation spots for our large family. It had plenty of room and is bigger in real life than on the video or photos. The outside area was our favorite where we could just pop outside from the kitchen and immediately be in the throw of many activities such as basketball, volleyball, croquet, tag, football, and a campfire. It was close enough to the main lodge that everyone felt together even when being outside. We didn’t like the bed sheets, however, which felt like sandpaper. So, I’d advise you to bring your own. The cabins were both warm and cool enough. There were some great hikes just up the street in the National Park area that we walked to (find the tree that smells like butterscotch!). Beautiful area! We even visited the cemetery on our way out and found some of our ancestors who were buried there.
Great accommodations for large groups
The setting and area is perfect for large gatherings. All the kids had plenty to do, lots of activities, and loads of fun. Place was clean with plenty of everything. Would stay again!
we went up with 2 kids soccer teams, both parents and kids had an amazing time, awesome place!
We love this place!
This was our third year having our family Christmas party here. We had around 60 people of all ages, and were very comfortable! The place has everything you could need. Great atmosphere, with lots of space, games for the kids, fire pit, outside activities, plenty of parking, lots of sitting and visiting areas, huge fridge and freezer, laundry facilities, and plenty of dishes and cookware. We will keep coming back!
