About Kevin Lewis

Our ancestors helped settle Pine Valley and we're proud of their great heritage here. We've spent a lot of time roaming these hills, and caring for the properties here. After starting my own family I decided to take a more serious stake in the area. In 2011, we purchased the Brandin' Iron Steakhouse (it was closed at the time) and began renovations. With the success of the restaurant we looked across the street and found a great opportunity to restore the old Pine Valley Lodge. With a little TLC we've transformed it into an ideal location for reunions and retreats. The Lodge opened in May of 2015.

Why Kevin Lewis chose Utah

Pine Valley is a place like no other. Just a few miles from the red sandstone, but thousands of feet above the desert - way up in the mountains, sits a pristine green valley surrounded by huge ponderosa pines. Pine Valley provides a refreshing and rejuvenating escape from the rugged desert landscape and the Pine Valley Lodge is a perfect place to come together.

Less than 150 people call Pine Valley home so this is a place where you can truly get away from it all. As a boy, I had friends who owned the property. The Lodge and cabins were our base camp for discovery. Now I'm rekindling those boyhood adventures for my own family, and creating refreshing opportunities for other families like yours!

What makes this lodge unique

A rustic pine lodge, a wooden plank deck, the smell of ponderosa pine, the sight of mule deer grazing on the grass at sunset, brilliant starlit skies at night and the sound of silence. What more could you ask for in a refreshing get-a-way? Once you experience the solitude here, you may never want to leave.

Exellent

  • 5 of 5

We had around 50 people and we all had a great time. The games available on site allowed us to have a great time without leaving the facility. It was great to have everything there so we didn't have to pack it all in. Everyone said that this was the best family trip we have ever had.

Another great family reunion thanks to Pine Valley Resort!

  • 5 of 5

We have booked the resort twice for a week long stay and have not been disappointed. The accommodations were fabulous and the location superb for kids and adults alike. The younger kids love staying in the smaller cabins and the grounds are large enough with plenty of space to run and play. It was great to be in a place large enough where all 29 of us could sit down for a family meal. What a great location for reconnecting as a family!

It's a beautiful, peaceful place to stay.

  • 5 of 5

The Pine Valley Lodge is beautiful!! It was perfect for getting family together and it had everything we could have needed to keep everyone happy. We even got to enjoy a little snow while there. We took the kids on a little hike, they played basketball and tether ball and just enjoyed being outside. The communication with the owners is excellent. We knew exactly what to expect when we got there and we were not disappointed. Such a great place to spend our Spring Break!

The kitchen had everything we needed and the common area was spacious enough for a group of 20 adults and 40 kids to spread out and do different activities.
