About Lisa Pecora

My French husband and myself decided to move into this neighborhood after becoming pregnant with twin boys in 2010. I grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and relocated to Lancaster for work 16 years ago. I met my husband in St. Martin seven years ago and after one year he decided to join me here. We got married in Toledo, Spain alongside family and friends. We love the activity of Lancaster because there is room for both all the activity you could hope to enjoy or the solitude of quiet neighborhoods.

Lisa Pecora purchased this house in 2010

Why Lisa Pecora chose Lancaster

We decided to move to this home because we absolutely loved the style and care the previous owners put into building this property. We enjoy the large space that the home is situated on and also our well established neighborhood.

What makes this house unique

We fell in love with this home because of the quaintness and also the spaciousness that it offers. The three fireplaces throughout the house really caught our eye as well as the back decks and gorgeous in-ground pool. The vegetation, and large trees as well make us feel like we are surrounded by nature at all times. It is the perfect choice for us to raise twin boys.

Beginning of Something Special!

  • 2 of 5

Property has possibility of being great. Decorations and colors are lovely. Cleaning crew needs to really step it up. Carpets, refrigerator, windows, dishes, silverware, hearth, decks all needed attention. Stained pillow case all unacceptable for this type property. Location great! Cleaning was not in my plan, but necessary for our comfort.

Owner's Response: Judith, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We truly want our guests experiences to be exceptional and value your comments so we can address them. We take your suggestions seriously and have addressed them and followed up as noted below. 1. Dishes and silverware needing cleaning. Everything runs through the dishwasher therefore we need to check the dishwasher for problems and use a different detergent. 2. Cleaning crew tried to get the stains out on the carpet with spot cleaner. They said a professional machine is needed and a day in between reservations to treat and dry. We have also changed out check-out time to 11 am to give them more time to address this and windows since three hours does not allow them ample time to deep clean on every turnover. 3. The linens are always fresh and clean. We provide the cleaning crew with these ourselves. We have instructed them to let us know about a stain that we have missed and bring it to our attention so we can provide other sheets in replacement. Thank you again for all your feedback. We always want our clients' experience to be the best it can be and we certainly don't want to have anyone cleaning when they arrive since we pay someone to do that. All of your issues are being adddressed. Thank you for staying with us. If you ever are back in the Lancaster area we surely would like the chance to make it up to you. Lisa

We loved it! Super cute- everything we needed for a brief weekend. Fell in love with the Dairy market nearby. I'd love to stay longer another time.

great stay

Was a wonderful alternative to a small hotel room. We had plenty of extra space for our little one to run around. Full kitchen was well stocked. Thank you!

A beautiful getaway!

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful place! The pictures don't do it justice. We've been to quite a few homeaway properties and this house was the nicest. Very clean , homey, decorated tastefully, and the pool was amazing!! Lisa was lovely and a pleasure to meet. We all had a wonderful time and would love to return!

Exquisite!!!

  • 5 of 5

A super charming place where we felt very much at home!

I choose Lisa and Francois's guest house to celebrate my friend's 70 th birthday. Their place accommodated the 4 of us, easily! Everyone loved it! Modern with a rustic twist, this place is definitely on my favorite's list and there are 100% chances we will return!

I also forgot to mention, was my first time in Lancaster! There is something about this beautiful corner of Pennsylvania, were if you go once, you promise yourself to return!

Merci beaucoup, Lisa & Francois for making our staying at your house unforgettable! :-)
