The property is centrally located, and the apartment is clean and comfortable. The street where the apartment was undergoing construction, so it was very noisy. Luckily our reservations were Friday through Monday and there was no work on Saturday and Sunday, otherwise it would have been a disaster. We would have appreciated being told in advance about the construction and given the choice to either change the location or cancel. It's just consideration for the guest since aside from the noise, it was messy also walking around the construction site.

Birthday vacation

The apartment was located in a great location. Everything within walking distance including shopping, restaurants and the beautiful Dom Luis I Bridge. A must see! Would stay here again.

Perfect location and host

Nuria our host was extremely helpful even getting us a reservation in a restaurant on New Year’s eve…!Location of the appartement is perfect, everything within walling distance. Would go back anyrime!

The apartment itself was great. It is well located and spacious, with comfortable beds and sofas for lounging. I would not consider this host to be welcoming. Unlike every other house or flat we have ever rented, either in Europe or the US, this one did not include any sort of information booklet. I had to ask - and then wait - for the wifi password and operating instructions for the dishwasher, oven, microwave or stovetop. Neither bathroom was equipped with shelves or other flat surfaces to store toiletries, nor, in the showers, was there anywhere but the wet, slippery floor to put soap or containers of shampoo, etc. There was an electrical failure on our first evening. This was not their fault, but what WAS their fault was the slow response to our queries about the nature of the problem and when it was likely to be fixed. Even a “we are working on it and will get back to you” took badgering on our part. Lastly, the fire extinguisher and fire blanket were placed in cabinets with no signage. It’s a great apartment in a wonderful city, but the host’s communication left a lot to be desired.

A very pleasant stay in Porto!

We had a wonderful time in this apartment in Lisbon. It is clean, bright and well appointed! It is quiet and in a central location! We were met by Enrique who gave us information and more about the city! The best custard tarts across from the apartment!!

Great Location!

A spacious apartment located on the third floor (American) with elevator. Roomy living-dining area to relax in the evening. The highlight is the apartment’s location in the heart of the Ribeira area, yet relatively quiet. Management (Andre) was very helpful in arranging transportation from the train station. The lowlight was the unreliable water pressure (wildly ranging hot and cold) and a nonworking toilet in the small bathroom (had to use a bucket of water to flush).

Great apartment, perfectly located

The apartment is perfectly located between the river, train station, and attractions north (bell tower, Lello bookstore, Bolhao market). Great light and spacious living room, comfortable beds. Only thing to note is essentials aren't all provided (soap, shampoo, paper towels) and the lights are a bit dim (we had some issues with the kitchen lights during the stay and the living room is dim a night). However, fantastically located, clean, modern, and very helpful hosts. Would stay again.

Would be nice not to have to check in through property management. Had to pay tourist tax in cash..2 Euro per person per night! Parking available…not included in price although listed under amenities. VERY expensive. Info on garage cost and how to buy a 4 day pass would have been helpful and save everyone some money. Limited amount of kitchen ware. Great location. Comfy beds

Beautiful Apartment in Great Neighborhood

The apartment was perfect for our family of 4. Very sunny, lots of space to relax, eat and sleep. The property manager was very responsive. Contacted us the day before our stay to coordinate check in, met us on site and showed us around the apartment, gave us ideas of places to go and even looked into finding a place for some friends who needed a quick rental. The location was perfect. Near the train station and so many sites and restaurants. The only thing that didn't give it a 5 all around was the floors were dirty. Our socks were black after walking around the house. Everything else was clean and the beds were comfy.

Great location

Our host representative, Nuria, was so helpful walking us through the apartment and giving us all kinds of visitor information! Apartment was well appointed and well located for walking to shops and restaurants and just a ten minute walk from the waterfront. We notified the host that one of the showers was leaking around the floor but obviously that couldn’t be fixed in the short time we were there. Just a caution if you are driving, the underground parking garage beside the building is very convenient with elevator right to the front door but very expensive. We paid over 130 Euros for four days! On street parking is very limited. Otherwise a great stay.

In the historic district

Great location with lots to see and within walking distance to lots of historic sights, restaurants, and river waterfront. Easy walk down, a little harder back up. Comfortable house with elevator and air conditioning. Parking under building, 25 Euros. Beds were firm but comfortable. Shower in bath could use a little attention, hand held shower head slipping down. Construction on the street blocked part of the street/sidewalk. Apartment has some renovations occurring, so a couple of windows were blocked. Overall, Excellent rental!

Ideal location

Based right in the heart of everything, easy walking distance to all sights, restaurants and bars. Bright and comfortable property, just a couple of minor faults which could be fixed so easily,, broken toilet seat and shower clip. along with very slow draining sink in main double bedroom en-suite. Pots and pans for cooking have seen better days and could do with replacing. However that aside we had a lovely time and would stay there again if in the area. Nuria who checked us in was full of useful information and on the end of the phone if needed. Many thanks Nuria. Lovely little tapas style bar just around the corner called Cozina dos Loios well worth a visit for delicious food and friendly staff, we ate there twice in our 5 day visit. Porto is lovely and this property is too.

Great location

Great location. We stayed five days. We could have used more towels as we had to use a couple to mop up the leaking shower. The water pressure is great but only use a trickle or the sink will take forever to drain. The water temperature went from hot to cold every couple of minutes. There was a washer, no dryer, so it took forever to dry a load so be aware. The toilet in one bathroom didn’t work properly and the water kept running. There was a dishwasher but no detergent so we just hand washed. The previous renters apparently broke two lamps so we did not use those. There is parking close by. The location was perfect. And Nuria, our contact tried her best to help with the plumbing issue and gave great Tour recommendations. I would give higher rating except the toilet issue was stressful.

A nice place to stay in Porto, but could use some very minor updates.

We stayed in the Cardosas Boutique Apartment at the beginning of May 2025. It is in a convenient central location in the historic area, so also comes with late-night disturbance and car & lorry noise echoing up from the narrow street. We were met by Nuria who showed us to the apartment and gave us some tourist tips and advice.The apartment is served by a lift into a small lobby, where we found a set of spare keys loose in the cupboard next to the front door. As much as Portugal is considered a safe country, this was really bad form as our passports and valuables were in the apartment all day.The apartment itself is a good size - the living space is more generous than the bedrooms - but there's been a lot of wear and tear and small changes since the photos were taken, so this is not a "luxury" apartment as the listing claims. Both lamps in the living room flickered like they were not electrically safe and the smaller shower room had no place to hang a towel anywhere. There was also nowhere to hang a towel in the twin room (adjacent to the shower room), so we ended up using the slightly broken clothes airer in the kitchen to hang our towels. The shower cubicle is an awkward design so as other reviews have said, spare bath mats or towels should be left to help keep the floor dry.From older reviews: both toilets did flush, the floors were clean, and the water temperature was stable.A nice place to stay in Porto, but could use some very minor updates.

Good location. Attractive 4th floor. Terrible property host.

Host was out of country with very poor contact. Informed us day before arrival that apartment needed plumbing repair. Wasted a day of a 1 week trip in a substitute location far away. On arrival, discovered that city had all-day jackhammers pounding the street for sewer main repair. Host should have informed us in advance, as the street work was ongoing for some time. Overall terrible communication during entire stay. Onsite property manager tried to resolve, but she was not in control of the problems that the host controlled. Halfway during the stay, host offered a bottle of port and pastels to make up for everything. A/C was insufficient. Host promised to bring fans, never did. Washing machine broken, host tried to say we caused it. Will not use this host again.

L'appartement est très bien situé.Près des transport en commun et du centre-ville. Nous avons été accueilli en personne. L'hôte est resté en contact avec nous chaque jour pour s'assurer que tout se passait bien et nous a suggérer des endroits selon nos intérêts. L'appartement était propre et comportait plein de commodité. Nous avons apprécié notre séjour 13-16 oct 2025 et nous n'hésiterions pas à y revenir.

Comme à l’hôtel ou presque!

Très bel appartement en plein centre de Porto et à deux pas de la gare.Nous avons apprécié l'accueil de Nira et ses bons conseils.Appartement moderne et luxueux. Si le temps avait été un peu ensoleillé s’aurait été parfait mais l’appartement n’y était pour rien.

3 jours magnifiques à Porto

Bonjour, Lors de mon séjour à Porto j’ai vraiment apprécié l’emplacement de l’appartement, nous étions au cœur de la ville. Mais malheureusement lorsque j’ai loué l’appartement c’était pour la lumière qui rentrait, selon les photos naturellement. J’ai été grandement déçu de réaliser qu’il y avait 4 fenêtres brisées il serait important de procéder à la réparation des fenêtres afin de faire rentrer la lumière du jour. De plus, le contour de la douche semble avoir un grand besoin de réparation car il y a des champignons causés par l’humidité. Également, un simple grille-pain pour nos déjeuners aurait été apprécié. Malgré mes points négatifs c’est un bel appartement vraiment très bien situé si vous désirez être au cœur de Porto.
