Beautifully finished private villa, sleeps 11 guests in 6 bedrooms

I found the property to be well maintained, and as described in the guide, with plenty of space for 5 children and 5 adults. I felt all the rooms were all a very good size. The children loved the swimming pools which caters for young children and older children. The property has fantastic air conditioning which is new and required when you visit during the sunny season. There was plenty of space even if you wanted to find a quiet place to read and relax, with a big open area at the front of the house. The property is safe for young children as it has a electric gate and the swimming pool has Safety gates, it is a five minute walk to the centre and the port. Which has fantastic restaurants and cafes and a few artisan bakeries for the fresh baguettes. The beach is ten minutes by car. I have recommended the property to friends, and will be looking to go back next year
Awesome place to spend your vacay
If you want to charge your bateries this this house in Marseillan is the best. You have everything you need there. The local food is also very good and fresh. If you chose to come here on June, you can eat fresh apricots directly from the garden.
Great villa for a holiday with the extended family
Marseillan is a lovely little French town, full of restaurants, bakeries and delicious fruit and veg places. We were there for the festivities associated with the Bank Holiday in August, and there was lots going on!
The villa was incredibly comfortable, although a little tricky at night, as unfortunately the aircon wasn't working when we were there. However, Alexandra was in close contact prior to our stay and these things do happen! The four children in the party spent most of the time in the pool with their cousins who were staying in Sete. The villa was clean, and well equipped, including a table tennis table that was a bit hit. Lots of space to sit and eat both inside and out, and lots of bathrooms for a bit party. The only minor issue was the rather busy road the villa is on - some were more bothered by that than others.
All in all, a great week in a comfortable villa in a lovely little town.
Spacious Villa within walking distance of restaurants
Spent one week in this spacious well equipment villa. The villa is walking distance to the town centre and port where there are good restaurants. Ideal location for exploring the area.
Super house, had a great holiday
Great house, lots of space, really well stocked, really good air con, fab pool - it is fully secured which is a great comfort with small children. It also has a mini pool which meant our smallies could be in the water without an adult, quite a relief!
The town has lots of restaurants, bars and coffee shops and great little port. We were lucky to hit "festival week" and had more events than we could keep up with. The beach resort is a short drive away - a classic seaside town, great beach with lifeguards and facilities. The town has a different style to Marseillan and the kids absolutely loved it.
We had a fab week and would definitely recommend both area and house.
An excellent holiday house which is well appointed and equipped including bikes and a superb pool.
The house is in easy walking distance of the centre and small harbour where there is lots going on. There are lots of restaurants to choose from but the Boulevard is particularly child friendly. Lots to do in the area places to visit. The family particularly liked canoeing and watching the Capelete and Jousting in the small harbour. By popular request from the children we all hope to return next year.
The ancient fishing town of Sete is just 20km away and has excellent shopping, markets, restaurants and a traditional fish auction at the quayside at 5pm each evening. The medieval walled town of Carcassone is breathtaking and well worth a visit. A short drive inland takes you into scenery rich in vine groves and ancient villages and where landscapes give way to the mountainside. The passes are perfect for hiking and the hidden villages feature fantastic restaurants and architecture. Try a trip to Roquebrun where the village is built into the hillside and you can canoe down the river surrounded by wildlife and fantastic scenery. Alternatively you can always sun bathe nearby on 12km of beautiful sandy beaches while the more energetic members of your party do the hard work! Montpelier is only a short distance for big name shopping and sightseeing, It is also useful to remember that Barcelona is only a three hour drive south and can also be reached by train from Montpelier or Agde.
Golf: 18 hole golf course located at Cap D'Agde which is about 15 mins drive away
