Even for the products "Poggio alla Rocca" lets nature and the fruits of this land suited to olive and vineyard do. The three types of extra virgin olive oil are obtained by cold pressing from three cultivars (correggiolo, leccino and dolciano) with excellent organoleptic characteristics. The vineyards of Poggio alla Rocca are facing south-west, in front of Montalcino, on marly limestone soils rich in minerals. The plant dates back to 1975 and the ancient Chianti recipe includes the following grape varieties: sangiovese and ciliegiolo (red 13.5%). Malvasia and Trebbiano (white 12.5%)
