About this property
Rome-Trastevere Balcony Ideally located. Internet. All within walking distance
In the heart of Rome, Trastevere Ideally located. All within walking distance... The holiday apartment is in the center of Rome – in the middle of a private garden on a hill below the Gianicolo and above the quarter Trastevere.
Trastevere is one of the oldest and the most beautiful quarters of Rome: small crooked streets and marvellous squares, such as Piazza Santa Maria in Trastevere with the oldest basilica of the city.
Trastevere is also famous for its numerous restaurants and trattorias of all categories, e.g. the fish restaurant Corsetti “il Galeone” at Piazza San Cosimato, one of the most famous restaurants in the whole Italy (just in 200 meters form the apartments). Moreover you can enjoy local Roman food at via Natale del Grande.
Above the house you will see the famous church “San Pietro in Montorio” which has a well-known temple of Bramante in its yard. According to the books Holy Peter was crucified there.
From the church it is not far to the top of Mount Gianicolo, from where you can enjoy a marvellous view of the whole Rome.
From the apartment the most important sights of Rome can easily be reached on foot, such as Vatican City, Piazza Navona, Pantheon, Fontana di Trevi, Spanish Stairs, Piazza Venezia, the Coliseum, the Forum Romanum…
One of the most known and characteristic boroughs of the city, Trastevere has it all: great nightlife, good restaurants, cheap and interesting shops and the charming style of Rome that attracts travellers and tourists from every corner in the world, creating a unique blend of tradition and modernity, of local accent and international languages.
If you choose Trastevere as the base for your Roman vacation, probably you will spend there most of your time, being everyday surprised how easily you will feel at home.
The apartment is located in minutes walking to the famous characteristic Sunday flea market of Porta Portese offers an extravagant selection of treasures and necessities - something for everyone. Ideally located...

Loved the bright & well equipped appartment Views all round the city, great location handy to all places….. Lovely helpful host, information & check-in process very friendly and efficient !
Lovely cozy apartment, with a wonderful view over Trastevere. Communications and logistics were great, and the apartment was perfect for a week stay in the city
Stayed in this lovely apartment for 5 days.
Wonderful view over Rome from the balcony.
The area “Trastevere” is really nice, with a lot of cosy restaurants.
This particular apartment has an exceptional view and is in a fantastic location. The host is particularly helpful and thoughtful about the experiences of his guests. I highly recommend this apartment and host and can't wait to schedule another visit.
The location is a great balance between close access to the heart of the Trastevere whilst not being surrounded by its bustle. All that’s needed for a week’s stay is provided, with a view to wonder at. Great hospitality and access to support if required. Recommended without hesitation.
We stayed in the apartment for about a week. Initially, the stairs leading to the building presented a challenge, but we were soon used to the climb and enjoyed the splendid location overlooking busy Trastevere. Many restaurants are within a 10-minute walk. The apartment was clean and well-furnished. We would certainly stay here again

Eine schöne Woche in Rom
Von der gut gelegenen Wohnung über den Dächern von Trastevere waren die Highlights von Rom gut zu erreichen.Unser Gastgeber Denis hat sich prima um uns gekümmert.
For eleven days, the apartment was our own Palazzo della Luce (Palace of Light). No matter the time of the day, we could count on the light of the day to fill the apartment. The views were equally wonderful and enhanced the quality of our visit.
The apartment came with just the right kind of amenities, meaning no clutter! The kitchen was utilitarian; the bedroom was comfortable and spacious. Perfect for the minimalist traveler.
The host was responsive to our inquiries. His support team was ready to help us too. The apartment is deep in the Trastevere, one of Rome’s most lively and colorful neighborhoods. It is also close to transport, restaurants and shops.
As mentioned in the description of the apartment there are steps required to reach the apartment but it’s all worth it.
This Trastevere apartment is no doubt the premier location for a lifetime travel experience. From the moment I reviewed and booked the property the owner made himself available at my beckon call. In addition he introduced us to the consumate Trastevere guide Aldo. The apartments were just what my friend and I required..charm, location, an elevator!, the lovely tenants, comfortable beds, immaculate, quiet, very secure, and begging us to come back. Our adventure started with my lifetime desire to study the history of Santa Cecelia. Our goals were achieved..and then some. I am committed to going back..extremely rewarding time and I will never forget the lovely hospitality from our friends Dennis and Aldo..until we meet again...Ciao! Peggy & Rene

Awesome apartment in a leafy quaint neighbourhood.
The is the perfect location for a short stay in Rome. The apartment is clean, with a comfy bed and great sheets. The neighbourhood is breaming with a plethora of exquisite cafes, restaurants and local artisian. One could spends days discovering the streets and hidden gems. I will definitely return recommend this apartment.
Denis is a great host and easy to contact- no problem with assisting in taxi with your questions or best places to eat or visit .
Also there is a cafe just two minutes from the apartment which was great for breakfast or a late drink.
Thanks for everything Denis

Great start to a Roman Holiday!
Great location and with elevator and useful kitchen. Need to replace bed and have additional bedding items. Would have been nice to have living room furniture instead of rollaway beds/futons.
