Situated just 14 kms outside from Heraklion, close to the charming typical Cretan village of Kalessa, with the amazing hills covered with olive trees and vineyards, we invite you to experience the magic of this place with us. A beautiful paradise Villa for your holidays.

During your visit, we want you to combine the wonderful Cretan nature with the Cretan Sea. We want you to experience the tradition, the comfort, the past and the present. We want you to leave behind your daily routine and live the diversity this place offers.

When leaving, we want you to be happy, relaxed and refreshed and most of all satisfied with your choice so we can have you with us again soon.
The villa is built in a quiet point with a view to the Cretan mountains, the sea and part of the city of Heraklion. The driving distance from Heraklion is just 18’.

The closest beach is approximately 4kms away and in a short distance there are shops for provisions and taverns.

Heraklion International Airport is 17 kms away.

The villa has a private swimming pool. The ground floor is consisted of a main kitchen with all modern amenities, an oven and a microwave. There are 2 living rooms with fireplace, a dining room, a WC and big balconies that lead to the private garden.

There are 2 en-suite bedrooms and 4 more bedrooms that share 2 more bathrooms. There is also an external WC.

All rooms are equipped with air-condition, TV sets and central heating. There is an internet connection and an alarm system for your own safety.

From the spacious balconies, in all bedrooms, you can enjoy the amazing view from all rooms of the villa, ground floor and first floor.

September Girls’ Trip

Overall, we enjoyed the house and the people with whom we worked. The description online is a bit deceptive. There are two “bedrooms” on the uppermost floor. And both are very small. One room has a bathroom in it along with twin bed, a dresser, and a closet. The other room cannot be called a bedroom. It has a twin bed that is hard as a tabletop. There is no closet and there is no dresser. Just a terrible bed and a small bedside table. To get to the bathroom you must walk into other bedroom. And that bathroom is very small with a very small shower. There was one hairdryer in the house which was a problem for 7 women. The public space of the house is nice and we enjoyed that as well. Kitchen is well equipped except for wine glasses. The grounds and the pool are very pretty and well maintained. We enjoyed that.

Prachtig klassiek grote villa met een enorme tuin en zwembad

Prima lokatie dicht bij Heraklion en vlakbij strand van Amoudara. Villa is ruim en de tuin en het zwembad gigantisch. Ontvangst door beheerders echtpaar heel hartelijk en warm. Huis is heel persoonlijk en met veel zorgvuldige accessoires aangekleed.

villa metaxas was absolutely amazing..would highly recommend 😊

This villa is gorgeous inside and out,very spacious garden and plenty of space to sunbathe around the pool..we were a group of ten..our four young children aged 3,4 and two 6year old absolutely enjoyed themselves,the pool was amazing and they couldn't get enough of it..the park in the garden was great too for our younger two,id like to thank vasilis and his team for being so welcoming kind and very helpful,ordering our takeouts and calling taxis for us because of the language barrier,also a huge thank you to martha for the very pleasant welcome and for the delicious food cooked on arrival😋..we all had a amazing week and would definitely want to return in the future..sheena and family
