The cabin was cozy and very clean. Had a cookout and swam in the river! Great place for quiet time away!
Peaceful and quiet.
Very nice quiet vacation get away. Cottage we had sat right on the lake and it was very peaceful to just sit on the screened porch and watch the water and feel the breeze coming off the lake.
Stayed with my niece and sister we were very cozy. The fireplace was great for the cool fall nights. When we arrived the "office" was dark and the gentleman was sleeping (nap time) gave us the keys and never even told us where the camp was or where to go. Wifi wasn't that great, across the pond it may be free but there's a reason for that. It was hit or miss the 3 nights we stayed. Normally I wouldnt care but when logging information in to the computer we needed, we were froze out. Very frustrating. There were towels but only 1 for each of us and they were never replenished during the day. Overall disappointed, for the money we paid.
Thank you for taking the time to post a review Tina. We appreciate all feedback.
I'm sorry to hear that you did not have a good experience.
We are a small family business, and as such we do not have a staffed office. We do our best to be available from 2-10pm for guests checking in. The office is located in our home and for this reason we provide a sign on the door asking guests to “Please ring doorbell” for service. We will work on finding a more prominent spot for this to avoid confusion for future guests.
We do wish you had brought the WiFi issue and number of towels to our attention during your stay. That sounds unusual. We would have been happy to look into the WiFi and furnish more towels immediately.
Thank you again for your feedback as we continually strive to improve the experience of our guests.
Best Regards, Teresa Robinson
Quiet, secluded, peaceful cabin near the Canadian Border.
On our trip we were only able to spend one night at the cabin. It was a rustic, cozy, comfortable retreat after a long drive from Portland, ME on our way to New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. The cabin was clean, quiet, completely stocked with cooking and other supplies as we expected. The property was exactly as described on the VRBO website. Teresa was always prompt to answer our questions. Gave us advice on a dinner location close by...turned out we were tired and the cabin was so comfortable, we settled for sandwiches for dinner so we could enjoy the solitude and decompress after a long day...I can imagine this to be a wonderful summer location for a secluded getaway. Firewood and a GREAT fireplace helped keep my 85 year old mother comfortable for the night. We just loved our one night stay...HIGHLY recommend Robinson Cottages!
Thanks Robinson's for a comfortable, restful evening...

Thank you for your glowing and thoughtful review, Dave. It is greatly appreciated! We are happy to hear that you had a wonderful stay and that all your needs were met. We hope to see you again at some point in the future!
We enjoyed our 3 night stay and wish we could have stayed another night or two. The pictures and descriptions provided for the cabin were accurate and not misleading in any way. This cabin is located near multiple attractions that we took advantage of. Reversing falls is one that and is worth seeing along with Moosehorn National Wildlife Refuge. I would recommend going during the summer or early fall, as the temperatures get colder the cabin is a bit drafty and hard to maintain a comfortable temperature. I personally didn't mind but something to keep in mind if you prefer warmer temperatures.
Although it has been almost a year since your stay, we wanted to thank you for taking the time to leave a thoughtful review. We greatly appreciate all feedback! We are happy to hear that you had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the local attractions. We agree that it can be hard to keep Cottage #3 warm as it is the only one without a woodstove and has only the monitor heater and fireplace for heat. Due to the lack of winterization in any of the cottages, we are always closed by the end of November (sometimes earlier), so you caught us just before that point! If you ever come back our way in the late fall or even early spring, may we suggest Cottage #4 for the warmth of the woodstove!
My wife and I stay for our honeymoon. While here we did some fishing, ATV riding, and site seeing. We both are looking forward to coming back again.
Although it has been over a year since your stay with us, we want to thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We greatly appreciate it! We are happy to hear that you had good stay for your honeymoon and took advantage of the many activities available! We look forward to seeing you again in the future.
All attractions within 20-30 minutes from the cottages. We are located in a very small, rural town, so some travel is necessary to experience the local attractions and activities.
