The Stables - at Broadgate Farm Cottages
Stable Cottage dates from 1897 when the farm underwent a period of expansion & investment. Originally stables it has now been converted into a stunning 2 bedroom/2 bathroom self catering holiday cottage. We offer weekly holidays and short breaks and what's more you can arrive any day.
On the ground floor the living accommodation is semi open plan with a well fitted kitchen and separate dining area featuring natural travertine flooring. The sitting room runs off the dining area, with a double height ceiling, oak flooring and a wood burning stove. Views across the fields from the living area.
There is a twin bedroom downstairs with an adjacent bathoom. This bathroom is a wet room with a large easy access shower. The bedroom is usually configured as a twin room but can on request be converted into an additional double room with an Extra King bed 6' wide x 6'3"long.
Upstairs there is a master suite, a bedroom with a King sized bed and large bathroom with bath & separate shower.
This holiday cottage sleeps four guests in two bedrooms, there is room for a put up bed or travel cot for an additional child on the landing outside the master bedroom. Whilst not specifically designed for disabled access this cottage is suited for those with limited mobility. There is solid paving from the parking area to the cottage, an open plan living area, and a downstairs bedroom with shower wet room. Please ask about the suitability of this property to your needs or have a look at our access statement.
We also have two other 2 bedroom cottages so please take a look at the Forge and the Foldyard, we also sometimes let the larger cottages on a low occupancy basis if all the 2 bedroom cottages are booked so it is always worth getting in touch.
We do accept some dogs at the cottages but please ask for details as we have some doggy house rules, there is an additional charge of £40 per dog and a maximum of 2 dogs per booking. You can not book your dogs in via Homeaway as their system will not charge for them - please contact Elaine for a quote.
