Brambles Farm Bungalow is located in West Wight, a beautiful part of the Island, with miles of heritage coastline, scenic walks, cycle tracks and breathtaking views from Tennyson Down, Headon Warren and The Needles. Within a short drive (or walking distance for some) there is Yarmouth Harbour and Castle, Alum Bay noted for its coloured sands, The Needles Pleasure Park and National Trust Lighthouse, also Fort Victoria Country Park.

Brambles Farm Bungalow has lovely sea views and is set in a peaceful rural location, on the far boundary of Brambles Farm, well away from any roads. There are open views from the kitchen and bedroom across fields with horses grazing, across the valley to the rear and from the lounge and patio there are far reaching sea views with some quite spectacular sunsets.

The bungalow offers you good quality, comfortable self-catering accommodation and you should find everything you need on a day to day basis (apart from your food and drink!). It is ideal for families or couples, walkers, cyclists, birdwatchers and anyone interested in watersports or just to relax and enjoy the scenery!

Lovely compact cottage

Perfect for our needs - has everything all bundled up in a smaller space - perfect as a bolt hole for our weeks stay on the island. Great location for the beach and the views were spectacular. Highly recommended!

Freedom in Freshwater

We had a brilliant time. The bungalow was super clean and ideally situated for privacy, the beach and sunsets. Unusually it was exceptionally well provisioned with everything you need for a family self-catered holiday. It would be hard to better it for a start of end of lockdown holiday.

Gorgeous little seaview house

We had the most amazing stay at Brambles Farm. The house was spotless, the cleanest holiday home we've ever stayed in. The little touches were really appreciated - milk in the fridge, a pack of biscuits, dish washing essentials, etc. The kids loved all the DVDs and the jigsaws as the weather wasn't quite up to being on the beach all day. Beds were comfy, shower was lovely and warm and the kitchen had everything we needed. Cathy was really friendly and responsive over email and instructions were clear and easy to follow. We would definitely stay again.

Fabulous sea view

Fabulous, quiet location which was in a perfect place for walks along the sea front in both directions. The needles is just 10 minutes away and Osborne house and Cowes a little further. The bungalow contained everything you could want during your stay - lovely comfortable outdoor furniture and an outdoor table where you can sit and eat together while admiring the amazing view. I would highly recommend this property and we certainly hope to return. The only negative which is out of the control of the owner was that you couldn't get directly down on to the beach as the slipway has been badly damaged by recent storms.

Short Spring Break

My husband and I together with my sister and brother-in-law took advantage of the long bank holiday weekend to get away for a few days to the Isle of Wight. The property was spacious and very comfortable. No wi-fi but that wasn't an issue - in fact quite nice to be without it. Two large double bedrooms and a third bedroom which we didn't need. Well stocked kitchen with appliances and a packet of biscuits and some milk were left as a welcome gift. Short walk from the property down to the beach and not far (in the car) to other beaches nearby. One slight negative was that the speedbump on the road to the property scraped the underside of the car even travelling at snail's pace over it. Otherwise a lovely stay - lovely property in a beautiful area.

A superb family holiday home for a great holiday!

Brambles is just the most perfect rural family holiday home, just yards from a very quiet beach, with superb views from every window and everything a family needs to make a good holiday into a great one. Our grandchildren just loved the assortment of indoor and outdoor games, the freedom to play outside in the gardens and the 1 minute walk down to the beach, (oh and the neighbouring horses, cows, rabbits, stoats and sea birds). For us, the peaceful location was an ideal base to visit all attractions on the island (at most a 30 minute drive) and then return to eat at a local restaurant, use the BBQ or simply have a great take away before an evening stroll on the beach and watching the sun set. From booking to sadly, leaving today, we have nothing but praise for the owner and the experience offered. A very big thank you to Cathy from a very happy family….

Excellent holiday bungalow with views of the sea and rabbits.

Lovely clean property with excellent views over the Solent, which I am missing already! We had mixed fortunes with the weather but there was plenty of room to stay in the bungalow and read or watch TV or videos. The best thing to watch were the rabbits chasing each other around the garden.

Lots to keep children entertained

Lovely break with lots of games, books & DVDs to keep the little ones entertained. There is a bus stop at the top of the lane if you wanted to catch the bus to explore the island including the Needles breezer.

Ideal family holiday

Brambles is the best holiday home I have stayed in the bungalow was home from home beds were very comfortable kitchen was very well equipped had everything in to make your stay easy washing machine dishwasher plus the owners provided dishwasher tablets washing up liquid, the bungalow was very clean lots of games puzzles and books for the children,we didn’t even have to buy buckets and spades for children. The owners have done a fantastic job making this a perfect holiday home. I will definitely be going back again.

Perfect holidays

We stayed for two wonderful weeks - the Bungalow is situated at one of the most beautiful places on the Ilse of Wight. Every morning before breakfast we jumped into sea, every afternoon when we came back from excursions we were delighted by the peaceful place we were staying. The area around is very nice for swimming, walking, running, biking etc. The house was very clean and is perfectly equipped with everything you might imagine to need. Superb little bungalow, great location

5 minutes from The Needles, this property is based in the spectacular scenery of Freshwater. The views of the sunset over the ocean and wild rabbits playing on the grass outside never got tiring, and were very much complimented by the horses out back (attached to the local farm). The beach at the end of the garden is secluded and a lovely way to start/end a day, and most of the big attractions are within a 25 min drive. The property itself comfortably accommodates 6 (and one of our party was a 4 month old with lots of stuff), is very clean, REALLY well stocked and has lots of games to play. My only warning is that there is no WiFi included (which I actually liked as the kids and I spent time with each other and not on our phones) but I believe there is an option to connect to.a nearby network for an additional charge. All in all it is a great place in a gorgeous location. The Owner remained in contact from the point of booking right up until after we arrived back home and couldn't have been more helpful. I would definitely recommend this property.

Why they chose this property

Brambles Farm is so peaceful and quiet, a real home away from home, with stunning sea views. It is located on the edge of farmland overlooking the sea with direct access to the beach and many walks but within easy reach of Totland and Freshwater for the essentials and places to eat out.

What makes this property unique

So quiet, direct sea views. Very light and airy. Comfy beds. Home away from home - it is fully equipped with all you could want to make your holiday really special (even a dishwasher!)
