Villa Maria

Villa Maria consists of two units, one by the owner and one for guests. (The owner is always outside during the day, use of the pool is reserved for guests.) The 'guest apartment is with lovely views of Lake Como, recently renovated with a swimming pool, two outdoor dining areas, a large garden and indoor parking.
The 'apartment consists of a double bedroom, walk-in closet, living room with a two-seater sofa bed, fully equipped kitchen with appliances and bathroom with bathtub. Outside in the 'pool area is another bathroom with shower. There is air conditioning, free wi-fi and smart tv. Since the early morning hours you can enjoy the sun on the beach (5min walk ) or savor the scents and colors of the Mediterranean garden that surrounds you, with its beautiful pool overlooking Lake Como. It is possible to practice many water disciplines such as wakeboarding, canoeing and rent boats at the rental below the house in “Honnolulu Beach”.

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria. Beautiful apartment with spectacular view of Lake Como. It had everything: large bedroom, large bathroom, completely equipped kitchen, pool, sauna, parking and more. We shall return!!

Stunning views!

We had a wonderful stay at Villa Maria! The views from the pictures on the site were great but even better in person. The apartment is very nice and well appointed, there is plenty of outdoor space for entertaining/relaxing - all with great views. The private pool was amazing and a total luxury. There was occasional barking from the neighbors dog but generally not an issue. The properly manager, Serena, was super helpful with several questions we had. We would definitely recommend this villa and hope to come back!

Our best recommendations

We spent 9 great days in fantastic Villa Maria - both patents and our 10 years old daughter enjoyed the stay very much. The pool, the surroundings, the view - everything is perfect for an Italian holiday. Only the neighbours dogs were disturbing the peace but Serena did her best to prevent and stop their barking. With a car there is a lot of opportunities for great trips to small places in the mountains or to Como and Bellagio. You can also go by boat from Onno to Bellagio. Onno is a nice litlle place with some good restaurants and cafés. I really reccomand a stay in Villa Maria if you love having your own pool, a nice view and privacy.

Breathtaking views and tucked away location

This villa has an absolutely gorgeous view, on top of the mountain. It is even more beautiful than the pictures show online. It is walking distance away from a few restaurants, the beach, and the ferry in Onno, which makes it a perfect location if you don’t have a car. The interior of the Villa was average: there was no AC (so make sure to confirm that before booking) and the sheets had a stain on it. Also, the place was advertised as private, but we were shocked when we saw the owner’s family member enter the gate and stay upstairs. But there were no issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay and we would recommend especially because of the views!

from summer 2024 there will be air conditioning, my almost 80 year old dad has an upstairs apartment with a separate entrance, the pool and garden are for private use for guests.

Too hot, inside 29 C. The outlets had all different dimensions meaning the owners owned ventilator did not fit in the outlets in the bedroom. No 100 % privacy at pool. Pool not clean. Our hairdryer did not fit in the outlets. So we left after one night sleep.

from summer 2024 there will be air conditioning, the pool is private for guests, privacy is 100%, we have never had problems with power sockets, they are all compatible

5 days relaxed stay with stunning views and privacy

We, a couple, stayed at Villa Maria for 5 days. Serena was there for us whenever needed with super quick replies by texts. Property has the most stunning views ever of the lake from the house and from the garden and pool. The pool is large and deep - good fun for adults as well! Garden same thing - large one. Not that many restaurant nearby by walk distance, but was also not in our interest has we had been travelling in a Italy a week prior and just wanted to chill by the pool and make our own dinner in the evenings. Which bring us to the kitchen which was well equipped and perfect enough size for 2 ppl. The road below the house / garden was a bit noisy at times during the day, but didn’t disturb us by any means. We had no disturbance at all from a barking dog :) We give 4 out of 5 stars instead of full 5 only because the pool was 1 day out of usage due to filter problem and due to some renovation work at Serena’s father property above with some renovation guys disturbing our privacy a bit 1-2 days. Pls keep in mind these both issues were temporarily and just unfortunate for our stay. We would full-heartedly recommend Villa Maria for any couple or small family looking for relaxed days with privacy in a small quiet town. At least this how we would use the property again next time going back there :)

Wir waren eine Woche an diesem Platz und es war von A - Z alles fantastisch. Serena hat uns wenn immer etwas war sensationell betreut. Wenn etwas nicht funktionierte was auch immer Internet, Strom, Duschbrause Reaktionszeit Minuten und alles war wieder in Ordnung. Pool traumhaft. Ein riesen Plus war dass das Elektroauto kostenlos im Haus geladen werden konnte. Danke nochmals Serena. Arrividerci !

Traumhafte Lage, aber sehr laut

Sensationelle Aussicht, aber wenn Tag und Nacht Motoräder und Autos am Gebäude ( Ferienwohnung ) vorbei fahren und man wirklich keine einzige Minute Ruhe hat, ist das sehr schade. Sehr einfach möbliert. Eine Verdunkelung ist komplett nicht möglich so das man den Tag schon um 6.00 Uhr beginnen kann, wenn man möchte. Wenn man duscht, steht leider das ganze Bad unter Wasser. Alleine ist man nicht, weil der Vater und die Tochter das Anwesen mit bewohnt, inkl. 2 Hunde, die am Pool Ihr Geschäft verrichten, wo wir lagen, fanden wir nicht so toll. Wir haben das beste daraus gemacht. Ein zweites mal leider nicht mehr, dafür ist der Preis viel zu hoch. Aber wer nur eine gute Aussicht sucht ist hier genau richtig.

assolutamente tutto falso, l'appartamento é situato in una delle zone più tranquille del lago di Como.L,'oscuramento è possibile ci sono le tende ecle ante.Imiei cani ed io non viviamo li, solamente in giorno del chek in ero presente con loro(e non fanno i bisogni in piscina).Il Sig Martin ha distrutto il servizio dei piatti e dei bicchieri e ha lasciato quintali di spazzatura fuori dall'appartamento.

Belle maison avec une vue exceptionnelle de toute beauté.

La maison est belle et fonctionnelle. Une vue exceptionnelle et un lieu pour se reposer. La voiture est cependant indispensable pour aller faire les courses. aller au restaurant et pour visiter les lieux touristiques car le village d'Onno est calme. Très beau séjour. Ein ganz wunderbarer Blick. Ruhige Lage.

Wunderschöne ruhige Lage am Comersee. Gute Erreichbarkeit. Personenschifffahrt, kleiner Strand und Restaurants fußläufig( 1,5km). Der Pool konnte mit benutzt werden.

Perfect place to relax with an amazing view and a very nice apartment !

We spent 4 nights in Villa Maria and enjoyed every single minute. The view is just spectacular and the apartment is having everything you need, modern and clean. The communication with the owner was also very easy and always fast. The pool and outside area is in a top condition as well. We will come back!

Schöne Villa mit Pool in ruhiger Umgebung

Wir haben die Villa Maria für 6 Nächte als Flitterwoche gebucht, mit dabei waren unsere zwei Hunde, die auch freudig empfangen wurden. Die Villa liegt in einer ruhigen Umgebung, ist komplett eingezäunt und verfügt über einen sagenhaften Seeblick vom privaten Pool aus. Die Wohnungsgröße war für uns ausreichend, in der kleinen aber feinen Küche, kann man sich gut auch mal selbst versorgen. Restaurants im Ort kann man innerhalb von 15 Minuten zu Fuß erreichen. Die Vermieterin ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Un logement 5 étoiles

Nous étions en couple et avons passé 2 semaines à la Villa Maria. Tout est réuni pour passer un super séjour : logement propre, moderne et parfaitement équipé, piscine privée avec vue extraordinaire sur le lac de Côme. Nous n'avons pas utilisé le sauna, la température extérieure étant bien suffisante. L'environnement est très calme jour et nuit hormis le week end en journée par beau temps lorsque "nos amis bikers" viennent passer la journée sur le lac. Ceci reste, bien sûr, anecdotique et n'a en rien entaché notre séjour. La situation de la villa permet de visiter l'essentiel des sites des lacs de Côme et Lugano en voiture ou par bateau. Vous pouvez également prendre le train à partir de Lecco qui dessert, entre autre, Milan et Bergame. Nous avons été incroyablement bien accueilli par Serena, son papa et ses amis. Merci pour votre disponibilité et votre gentillesse !

Prachtig huis op mooie locatie met schitterend uitzicht op het Comomeer.

Mooi gelegen huis met groot zwembad en schitterend uitzicht op het Comomeer. Parkeren op eigen terrein achter het toegangshek.. De moderne inrichting is ruim voldoende, hoewel de keuken en koelkast wat klein zijn. Vlakbij het pittoreske Onno dat op loopafstand ligt. Daar vandaan kun je met een boot naar de overkant en andere dorpen in de buurt. Lecco is goed bereikbaar via kustweg, evenals andere plaatsen aan het Comomeer. De locatie geeft ruime privacy en was heerlijk toeven. Zelfs het onweer was prachtig om eens mee te maken.

Wonderful Apartment with a beautiful garden

We had a wonderful stay in a very nice apartment. The Apartment is very clean and everything you need is there. The owners are very nice and take care of all your needs. The view over lake como is just spectacular. The beautiful garden with great flowers and a very hug pool makes the stay just perfect. You can easily reach Bellagio in 15min. We will definitely come back!
