Overview

About the property

5 acre property on highest hill in Blanco county for Hill Country escape.

2 BR. 1.5 BA. Cabin was built in 2004. It is very basic, but clean. One large room downstairs. One large room upstairs. Can sleep 4 adults + 4 kids, or 2 adults + 6 kids. Make a campfire. Cook out on charcoal bbq. Super cool treehouse. Great place to do not much. Always seems to be few degrees cooler than Austin. Great launching spot for cyclists. Please note that there is very little noise separation between the upstairs and the downstairs - so we end up all going to bed at the same time. Very close to Dripping Springs (14 minutes) and to Johnson City (14 minutes).

Everything you need

  • 5 of 5

We spent 3 nights at the Hilltop with my wife, 2 boys(8 & 5) and my mother. We all loved the house, treehouse, property and unbeatable views. Beds are comfy and clean. Fully stocked kitchen. Lots of games and activities. 3 minutes from Pedernales State Park.

Nice cabin, fun place!

  • 4 of 5

We brought our family of 6 for a Spring Break getaway and had a blast! The cabin was just the size we needed and the outside kept my kids busy having fun. The property manager was very responsive and easy to work with. Thank you for a fun week!

We rented house for family Christmas getaway. And we had a great time.

  • 4 of 5

The land wad breath taken, beautiful view of the Hill Country. The house was a most completely stocked, besides food. Which was really nice. Love the open concept of the down stairs, we have 8 in our family and everyone had plenty of space. Well definitely rent house again.

Wonderful retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Although we live only 30 minutes away from this cabin, we rented it for a 13th birthday party retreat for our son and a few of his friends and their dads. It is such a comfortable place! There is tons of comfy seating on couches and chairs. There's a great TV and DVD player. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cooking wares. There are plenty of towels and sheets and comfy beds. Not to mention the ping pong table, stash of board games, the deck, the fire pit, and the amazing tree house outside! It's a short drive from Pedernales State Park, where our guys spent time on Saturday. The only downside was that there's also a Zipline and trampoline that we weren't allowed to use, which wasn't popular with our 13 year olds! But they had plenty of fun roaming the huge piece of property. All in all, we'd rent it again if we need somewhere closer to the park. It's a wonderful retreat indeed!
