Overview

About the property

5 acre property on highest hill in Blanco county for Hill Country escape.

2 BR. 1.5 BA. Cabin was built in 2004. It is very basic, but clean. One large room downstairs. One large room upstairs. Can sleep 4 adults + 4 kids, or 2 adults + 6 kids. Make a campfire. Cook out on charcoal bbq. Super cool treehouse. Great place to do not much. Always seems to be few degrees cooler than Austin. Great launching spot for cyclists. Please note that there is very little noise separation between the upstairs and the downstairs - so we end up all going to bed at the same time. Very close to Dripping Springs (14 minutes) and to Johnson City (14 minutes).

Amazing Location, Private & Peaceful

  • 5 of 5

This property was everything my group of friends and I were looking for when we wanted to spend a weekend in the Texas Hill Country. The house is easy to find and is minutes away from Pedernales State Park. It has valley views to the East & West and has a good sized deck, fire pit and tree house perfect for stargazing at night. The inside of the house is a lot bigger than the pictures suggest and to top it off there is a ping pong table! We brought our own water so not able to comment on the tap water. Had a great time and will be sure to be back.

Awesome country retreat!

  • 5 of 5

Our family and friends all enjoyed this place very much! The pictures do not do it justice- it was bigger and more cozy than we expected. The tree house was a huge hit with our kids (they may have spent most of the weekend in it) and the entire property was awesome to explore, take in the views and just hang out! We're hoping to return during warmer weather so we can swim, hike and bike at the VERY nearby beautiful Pedernales Falls State Park!

So relaxing-Wonderful get away

  • 5 of 5

We rented this cabin to get away from it all, and it was perfect.

Beautiful sunrise and sunset from this hilltop retreat. The property is well maintained and so much more than we expected. Cozy beds and spacious kitchen, I will definitely recommend this cabin to my family and friends. I hope to stay again in the future.

Excellent Stay!

  • 5 of 5

This cabin is amazing. The treehouse is awesome and the grounds are beautiful. It felt very secluded, and all of my guests had an amazing time. I definitely recommend a stay here! The fire pit, grill, and the rest of the grounds were just what we needed for a relaxing and fun couple of days. Sleeping was good, even for a large group, and there was lots of chairs, equipment, cookware--everything we needed and then some (though we still brought plenty). Come here and have a wonderful time!

The cabin grounds are lovely

  • 4 of 5

My family and I had a great three nights at this cabin. The actual cabin boasts sleeping 10, but I think this would be a bit of a stretch as the upstairs bedroom sleeps 4 and the ground floor living space appears to sleep no more than 4. The cabin was quaint with a well-appointed kitchen. Rustic would also be an appropriate term for this cabin which, by the way, has no WiFi (so plan accordingly). The outside area was the best in my view. There is a large deck area with a picnic table and charcoal grill (charcoal and lighters provided), a superb tree house, a large fire pit, and views from the ridge to the east and the west. Make sure you use the outside facilities while you are here since this is the selling point of the property in my opinion.
