About Laurence Boag

I moved to Northern California from France in 1975. I raised a well traveled family of three girls and one of them moved to Idaho. Now, with grandchildren to visit, I purchased a home in my daughter's Victor neigborhood. You will find that the house has a French country charm. I had a lot of fun dressing it to make it homey and comfortable. I hope you will enjoy it. I have spent many years travelling all over the world and always appreciated the personal touches that come with staying in people's homes. Please make sure to sign my guest book and tell me about yourself!

"The world is a book, and those who do not travel read only a page" Saint Augustine.

Why Laurence Boag chose Victor

The Fox Creek Cabin has all the makings of being a "home away from home." The house itself is beautiful, but the decor and amenities make it truly special. In the Teton Valley the adventure is all around you; it is up to you to make it as wild as you wish, but at the end of the day, you want to go home. The comfort of this house will rejuvenate you so that you may continue on to your next adventure! We hope you enjoy it!

What makes this farmhouse unique

The house is seven years old and in great shape. It is extremely well insulated with heated floors in the upstairs bathroom and master bedroom. There is a lot of barn wood detail, and the kitchen is very well equipped. I am French and love cooking so I want to offer you the opportunity to have fun in the kitchen as well!

All we ask is that you please treat our home as you would your own. Please no smoking indoors under any circumstances. The house will be cleaned before your arrival and after you leave but please leave it as clean as you found it. Merci!

Adorable.

We stayed almost the whole month of October and got to know the house, the neighborhood, the neighbors, their dogs, and horses and the kids, too. We loved it. When we first arrived we noticed a couple items weren't there and within a few days, Laurence had them delivered from Amazon. The beds were awesome, the linens great and the views amazing. The yard is perfect, too. Truly a French farmhouse!

French Country Cottage in Victor, ID

  • 5 of 5

We LOVED our stay here. If the home was for sale I'd buy it. Feels like home right when you get there. Views are great. Open space is great. Home is cozy, clean and thoughtfully decorated and furnished. Great location for visiting Tetons, Yellowstone, Jackson and the Teton Valley. Victor and Driggs are charming too. Would stay here once a month if we could.

Lovely, quiet, clean, all the amenities one could want (including microwave and robust selection of spices), and the perfect place to watch the total solar eclipse! What an extraordinary experience is a beautiful setting! I am looking forward to another visit in the future.

Lovely house in a great location. Fantastic views into the Teton Valley!

  • 5 of 5

We have found this lovely house in Victor and we immediately fell in love with it. What a wonderful holiday accommodation!!!

There are so many fine details and a fully equipped kitchen, we had enjoyed the stay here. It is very quiet located.

We did some hiking in the Teton Canyon with Devil's Staircase and along the Coal Creek Trail near the Teton Pass. All location aren't no more than 30 minutes away. There are more hiking paths even closer.

There is the Victor Valley Market grocer located downtown, with local produce, meats and a great deli and even open on Sundays! A larger grocery store is about 8 miles away in Driggs.
