About Chuck Perry
As a native North Carolinian, it has always been a dream of mine to own a home in the High Country of NC. While attending college at East Carolina University I was on the tennis team and in the outdoor club. I often found myself backpacking, climbing and exploring in and exploring around the Linville area. When I discovered The Loop Chalet (TLC) and Linville Land Harbor, I knew I had found the perfect moutain getaway. Paddling, swimming, golf, tennis, cycling, climbing, hiking are all available within minutes of the TLC. There is something for everyone no matter your age or interest. My career has taken me to more metropolitan areas in our state so until I can call the TLC my permanent residence it is my pleasure to share my home away from home with you. I invite you to visit the TLC, play, relax and come back. Your adventure starts at my doorstep. Alison

Why Chuck Perry chose Pineola
Whatever season you choose has its special beauty. Springtime brings its new promise of blossoms and green. Summertime at 4,000 feet elevation gives wonderful mountain breezes and the exquisite profusion of white and pink rhododendron. Autumn brings the fall colors to the Blue Ridge mountains and winter brings the pristine quiet snow and skiing/snowboarding at Sugar or Beech Mountain close by.
What makes this House unique

We enjoyed our stay! I was very impressed at how well stocked the house was with linens, blankets, pillows, towels and the kitchen had everything i needed to cook for my family. I always bring extra supplies with me because most places just have the basic minimum but they have really done a fantastic job making sure you have everything you need while on vacation. The location is great, very centrally located to the surrounding towns. Friendly neighbors to make you feel welcome. The only disappointment was when we learned that only 5 people could use the pool/amenities at one time. It’s a rule of the resort not the owner. We had 6 people in our group and we didn’t want to have to pick and choose, so we just didn’t go to the pool or use the resort amenities. Overall great weekend and would stay there again. Oh, thank you to the owners for having books, movies and games on hand for the rainy nights. We learned how to play a new game!!
Thanks so much for sharing your experience with other travelers. I am glad the home met the needs of your family. Yea, the 5 person limit is a bummer. There reasons for doing that are valid I just wish they would have capped it at 6. Again, thank you for making our home your home for a few days. Come back to see us soon!
Highly recommended. Great location convenient to everything in the area (Grandfather Mountain, Dining, activities, etc.). The vacation property had everything needed to make our stay enjoyable.
Great home. Awesome location.
The Loop Chalet is a great home with everything you need for the perfect mountain getaway. Ideal location - close to everything! Chuck was extremely accommodating - great communication and a pleasure to rent from. The house is spacious, clean, updated, well stocked, and very comfortable. I will def rent The Loop Chalet again.
Great place to stay
Very nice home. Plenty of space. Would stay again.
Wonderful family home
Stayed here with my daughter and her 3 children. Very spacious, well lite and great location. Large kitchen for making family meals. Plenty of linens and towels. Be aware fireplace does not work. Only downfall. Great house would rent again in summer months.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with future guests. I am so glad you and your family enjoyed the home and it met your needs.
We have discussed opening the fireplace back up for use. It is an open face wood burning fireplace which puts the flames and smoke in close proximity to those renting the home. We have closed it off to assure we provide an as safe as possible experience for all renters. We continue to weigh the odds of "rental experience" vs. safety.
Again, thank you for sharing, as this gives us a reason to rethink our decision. Our goal is to provide an affordable, clean and well appropriated home for all renters. You sharing how we can improve the experience is priceless!
