The whole family enjoyed our stay. It was comfortable and roomy.

  • 5 of 5

We attended a family reunion down the road first weekend in August. This house was the perfect setup for our trip. When we arrived we knew we had come "home". I grew up about 20 miles away and this house reminded me of Grandma's.

There was plenty of room for a daughter, son, and their little families. We each had our own space and we slept very comfortably. The kids played outside on the lawn and he adults enjoying the pretty gardens and relaxing atmosphere.

We hope to go back again year after year and enjoy your property. We just loved our stay. Our kids said they wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

fabulous farmhouse !!!

  • 5 of 5

this is a WONDERFUL home! the farmhouse charm/and history was JUST RIGHT for our extended family-

from multiple different states- for a wedding in McMinnville. The 2 and 4 yr old children had a GREAT time in the room with twin beds- and all the supplied toys. the beautiful yard- and even a GARDEN with wonderful produce were VERY much enjoyed. Bari and Billie were both sooooooo very helpful/ gracious/ and went above and beyond to make our stay FANTASTIC. THANKS so much to both of them!!!

Wonderful family getaway!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed at the farmhouse when we went to Oregon for my son's wedding. It's location was perfect for us as the ceremony was north of it and the reception south of the farm. We loved staying there. It had lots of room and space for everyone, everything you would need and then some, and such a beautiful area and peaceful. The morning of the wedding my son and I took a walk around the orchards and sod fields it was the perfect way to start this great day. My only regret was that we didn't have more time there. I would have loved to take family photos in the orchard but couldn't fit it in. It was also so nice to come home to after a long day of events and feel like it was home. I loved all the old-fashioned things about it, the charm and farm environment. The hosts were great, welcoming and very accommodating.

perfect family getaway

  • 5 of 5

We had a perfect family getaway at the farm house. The house itself is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals at home. It is very clean and full of farmhouse charm. The girls loved all the games, puzzles, Little House on the Prairie DVDs, the outside fire pit and acres and acres of filbert trees to play in. It was a perfect location out of the city yet close to so many day trip activities. We would love to stay here again.

Fantastic Farmstay Getaway!

  • 5 of 5

First and foremost, the hosts (Bari and Billie) are incredibly accomodating, welcoming, and willing to go to great lengths to make your stay comfortable. It was such a wonderful farmstay that I have a hard time knowing where to start but I'll begin by listing some of my favorite aspects about the farm.

One of the things I loved the most was the abundance of birds who flock to the multitude of bird feeders interspersed throughout the backyard--as someone who likes to dabble in photography, I was not in short supply of photographic moments at this farm. Starting with the epic view of Mt. Hood at the far end of the orchard to the beautiful sunset that takes place at the opposite side past the barn. For people looking for a quiet and scenic getaway, this is the place for you.

You will not be bored with the endless bird-watching from the big windows, long walks through the orchard, or overlooking the green pasture. They even have a garden that guests can self-pick vegetables out of (the garden was not in full-bloom while I was there--all the more reason for me to come back!). And of course, if you are looking for more adventure, Portland is a stone's throw away, as well as big attractions such as the mountains, beach, or hikes speckled with waterfalls (Silver Falls). It is a perfect location.

I'm incredibly taken by the outdoor attractions but the house itself is a true gem as well. Incredibly spacious with four separate bedrooms and large living spaces, this is a perfect place for families, reunions, friendly gatherings, or getaways. The home is immaculate, well-kept, with all the fixings while evoking a very homey feel.

I can not recommend this vacation rental highly enough! My stay was everything I had hoped for and more. As a very satisfied customer, I am wishing these gracious hosts the best and have no qualms about being a spokesperson for how wonderful this vacation rental is.
