About Vacasa, OR - Portland / Willamette Valley Office
Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wifes family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Charming farm house!
The farm house is located right off the free way so you’ll hear some noise when you sleep at night. However, we enjoyed our stay there. There are total 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Very convenient location, about 5 minutes to downtown McMinnville with tons of restaurants.
Charming and clean
I enjoyed staying at this house as it was very clean, charming, and definitely had plenty of plateware, silverware, cups, glasses, etc in the kitchen! Drawbacks were that the mattresses were not very comfortable, and the downstairs bed creaked very loudly every time you turn on the bed. Another point to note, if you are a petite sized person, i.e. 5 feet 2 and under, then the kitchen counters are going to be a bit of an issue, especially if you decide to cook more than eat out while renting this place. The counters are extremely high and uncomfortable for trying to cook or wash dishes, but if you're with taller people, or don't plan to use the kitchen for more than making coffee, then this may not be such a big deal. Basically, everything in the kitchen is meant for much, much taller people.
Overall, I do recommend this place as it was conveniently located in proximity to McMinville, and the house was very clean. There were a few vases of lovely roses and there were plenty of amenities available for guests. We didn't use the washing machine, but nice to know it was available if needed.
If you close your eyes and imagine what a farmhouse looks like it would be this one in McMinnville. Great place.
Spring Break Stay
We took our family to the Evergreen Museum and Water Park. We loved our stay at this house. Great views, very cozy and clean. The antiques made it feel very homey. I made dinner each night, it was stocked with all of the cooking supplies we needed to make my family of seven a full three course meal and casserole. The kids enjoyed the swing and watching the horse in the pasture. We agreed it is on our list of places to stay again.
Really nice property to share with extended family group
We were 4 adults (couple+ 2 singles) but thought we’d have another adult+ child when we booked. Nice knowing there was room for the whole (extended) family.
House is clean and in very good repair. No complaints about its condition. It’s in a pretty country setting. If arriving at night, watch closely for the (unlit) sign; the turning comes up quickly and the driveway is dark colored/hard to see. Easier access in the light of day.
Negatives mentioned are nitpicks/advice. I’d stay here again as is.
Slight damp smell from basement when furnace fan ran. Note: we’re VERY sensitive to mold, and noticed odor but weren’t “bothered” by it. Asthmatics might want to sleep upstairs.
Full bathrooms both up and downstairs (ideal.) One big downstairs bedroom plus 3 upstairs rooms of decent size. Aside from the downstairs room being larger, there is no “bad” room that would get chosen last.
House is furnished with antiques/traditional wood furniture. All comfortable if very “upright” in style. I would prefer if one double bed in a bedroom could be a pair of twins instead. I’d prefer that if I’d brought the kids. Also would’ve preferred cotton not 100% poly sheets (not breathable enough.)
Though the property is older and more traditional/charming, we didn’t lack for any modern convenience. I love a rental with a dishwasher! Sink counter was almost ridiculously high for the petite ladies in our family, but it’s well worth it to have the dishwasher installed underneath.
The microwave is SO HIGH. In this case, that’s a safety issue for short people like me. Luckily, we didn’t need to use it much as we were in town for an event where we ate most of our meals. I’m just a couple of inches below average height for a woman, and the bottom (exterior!) of the microwave was probably 6-8 inches above my head. Eek.
Fridge, coffee pot, stove—all working & as expected. Seating options in both kitchen and dining room were great. Living room adequate; pretty, not plush. Seating for all.
One person wished for a bedroom tv. I didn’t, but be aware if you’re a tv in bed type (and too old to watch on your phone.)
Bathrooms: updated & clean. Water pressure acceptable, but well water did obviously have minerals leaving hair not-so-soft. The shower spray was wide, also probably due to mineral build up. (I’ve experienced worse.) One request: add wall hook by shower upstairs. Light shower curtain billowed & stuck to legs. Towels, toiletries, hair dryers, etc., were ample/good.
What a great old farmhouse!
This historic farmhouse is in amazing shape and was extremely comfortable to stay in. The updated kitchen has everything you could possibly need for a short or extended stay.
If you're looking for something 100% modern this is not the property for you... But if you can appreciate the occasional squeaky door this house couldn't be cooler!
The bedrooms are roomy, clean and comfortable. There are plenty of extra pillows, blankets, etc. Both bathrooms have hair dryers and extra soaps and shampoos and plenty of clean towels. There's a nice large back porch and an amazing country view to the back of the property.
The only downside of this property was vacation was over and we had to leave!
