Why Janet Romasco chose Willamette Valley

This property has been in the family for years and has been extensively remodeled.

What makes this house unique

The river rock and stone accents on the garage and entry stairs give the home a 'vacation' feel right off. As you enter the front door my eyes are drawn to the pebble entry surface, the bamboo hardwood floors, then up to the high ceilings. The great room and kitchen with it's stainless steel appliances and stone aggregate counter give it an up to date feel. The beds are well appointed and comfortable. Decks off of 2 of the bedrooms are spacious and inviting. I hope you find my home to your liking as well.

Lives up to the billing!

  • 4 of 5

The house was just as described and was perfect for our party of three couples. It was very clean, well stocked and maintained. The only negative was that after a day of cycling, we ran out of hot water with six people wanting to shower. The location worked well for us and was convenient to downtown. I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you Janet. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in McMinnville.

Great property for great price!

  • 5 of 5

We stayed for a wedding and the amenities and house were perfect for 3 couples. Everything was updated with new furnishings and Janet left wine and food for us before we had even arrived. Next time I stay in McMinnville, I would definitely stay here again! She even allowed for a later than normal checkout because there wasn't a booking the next day which was very much appreciated.

Great Spot in the Willamette Valley

  • 5 of 5

Really enjoyed our two night stay here. The house looked like it was recently renovated. It was clean and we had plenty of room for five adults. It was close enough to walk to downtown. There are two balconies and a patio in the back. We enjoyed an after-wine-tour game of cards on a balcony one afternoon. We also enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine and muffins. We definitely would book it again.

Convenient location with all the amenities of home

  • 5 of 5

This home is located less than a mile from the state highway, making it convenient to hop on for touring wineries, heading to the beach or to the Columbia River Gorge. It is also very close to the downtown shops of McMinnville and near the local college. Our hostess thoughtfully provided chilled wine and breakfast items for the next morning. The home was spotless and the beds were very comfortable. As mentioned in previous reviews, the shower heads in the bathrooms are a little low, but the water pressure is amazing! We enjoyed have two decks to sit on in the evening. While we didn't use these, there is a grill provided as well as many games and books for entertainment. The Wi Fi worked great! We also appreciated having window AC units in all the bedrooms as we were in Oregon during a record heat wave.

Adorable House

  • 5 of 5

This house was very well appointed and suited our needs perfectly. We were 2 couples on a wine tasting vacation and the house was perfect for our needs. We were close to downtown McMinville for great resturants. The owner responded immediately to any questions or requests. The owner went above and beyond with the breakfast items and welcoming bottle of wine (and cheese). The house was spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable and linens were nice. Lots of towels in the bath rooms. We really appreciated the fast wifi as we were able to keep up with work while on our vacation.

Suitable for a short Adult stay

  • 4 of 5

The house was perfect for 3 adult couples. It is small but adequate since we spent our days exploring the nearby wineries. We would have needed a bigger house with more living space if the children were with us. It was very nice of you to leave a bottle of wine, fruit and muffins for us. The kitchen area was well equipped and we were able to cook dinner there. The deck areas are nice after dark but with the western exposure, too hot for late afternoon. All the air conditioning units made it comfortably cool in the house, but they are a bit noisy. We also ran out of hot water before everyone could take their morning showers. The house is close enough that we were able to walk into town.

Thank you for your hospitality!

Although this home is one story it does have steps to enter. Spaces are too narrow for a wheelchair to navigate without help, although the hardwood floors thoughout make it ideal for someone with a walker.
