About Sandra Schaefer
Michael and Sandra Schaefer have been married for 25 years and grew up here in the Brazos Valley. We have two daughters that graduated from A&M Consolidated High School and are students at Texas A&M University. For most of our married lives we have been involved in education and have owned small businesses. Michael is a local homebuilder and has incorporated much of his attention to construction detail into the home. Sandra also manages the Brazos Cotton Exchange an event center in historic downtown Bryan. She is also known to be a great cook and kind hearted person.
Sandra Schaefer purchased this Farmhouse in 2015
Why Sandra Schaefer chose Nantucket
This home was purchased in early 2015. The home was completely renovated including new bathrooms, kitchen, HVAC systems, floor, and fixtures. The Bewley's purchased the land in 1966 and built their dream A-Frame home in 1981. The adjoining land is still owned by the Bewley and Arrington families. There is seldom a time when one can not see livestock, deer, and various kinds of birds. Behind the "Arrington" name is the meaning "eagle" from the old English origin and history. The three bedrooms have been named after the Eagle theme. The home is unique because it is in a rural setting but close to the heart of south College Station. Minutes away from Texas A&M and the Bush Library.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
We drove by the Arrington Home every day as we would come and go from our personal house. We put a contract on the property the first day it was listed. Rooms can be rented out as a B&B or the entire house. The home has a unique atmosphere that could host small wedding events, couple retreats, bridal/baby showers, dinners, cooking classes, and company events. House located at 2321 Arrington Road in College Station.

Nice house, convenient to College Station
Great house! We had a great time staying here for a football game weekend. It is convenient to College Station, but in a quiet, secluded environment. We saw many deer each morning in the surrounding fields. Everything seems new. Would recommend.
Enjoyed the peaceful country on the back patio! Wonderful place to relax.
Definitely worth a stay. House has a lot of character.
Stayed for parents weekend and ring day. Beautiful place! Comfortable beds, clean rooms, and quite area. Plenty of parking for everyone. Definitely coming back to this one.
Fantastic Jewel In College Station
Having only 1 prior review, I was concerned about this property. We were surprised upon opening the doors. We stayed Tuesday through Sunday for my daughter's wedding in Navasota. The house is nicely decorated, beds are extremely comfortable, extra pillows, and back porch was wonderful to sit at every morning and watch the deer, ponies, cattle, etc in the neighboring properties. Plenty of room to host a large family. Not far from A&M campus but far enough to actually relax from all hectic traffic and such around A&M. The house shows as though it was brand new. I've rented about 15 homes through VRBO and this is by far the nicest. Was also one of the cleanest houses I've ever rented. Would absolutely stay again!!!!
This home has a really warm feel, high quality design, and perfect for a weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms nice. It is very clean and well kept. It is close to the A&M campus and just far enough away to from the business of the city. Anyone looking for a home away from home will LOVE this house.
