La Reel 'n Inn @ POC è nella nostra famiglia da alcuni anni e ne ha passate molte. Innumerevoli serate con giochi di carte, barbecue e feste di pesce nel cortile sul retro, s'mores nel pozzo del fuoco e un sacco di risate in piscina e storie di pesca! Vieni giù e resta un incantesimo. Durante il tuo soggiorno speriamo di avere una conchiglia in tasca, sabbia tra le dita dei piedi e un pesce che piega il palo!
Siamo vicini a King Fisher Beach sulla Matagorda Bay e vicino alle rampe per lanciare la vostra barca. Animali domestici con porta cagnolino e cortile recintato. Piscina con coperta e bagno esterno. Area per la pulizia di pesci e anatre Si può godere la brezza dell'oceano e la vista della ICW dal ponte di casa o la zona di seduta ariosa sotto. C'è anche un parcheggio gratuito nell'area RV che ospiterà le grandi barche in mare aperto o un camper per ospitare ospiti extra con allacciamento elettrico e acqua per extra $ 20 a notte.

We had a great in POC. Mark was a great host with an adorable house. It felt like a home away from home in a great location. The pool was great too!

Convenient

The stay was great. All the essentials were provided. We got to see the sunrise and sunset. The fenced in backyard was a huge plus for our doggies. Parking for the boat/truck and additional vehicle was also a plus. Mark, the host, was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We were maybe a half mile from Clark’s dock and close to King Fisher Beach. We will be staying here again.

Nice little cabin!

I really enjoyed the yard, outdoor areas and fish cleaning facilities. Nice spot to park boat and truck. Worked great with my dogs as well.

Super cool last minute booking available with the owners staying just next door. They were super friendly and helpful on ensuring we were comfortable. Very adorable and relaxing place that offers a little something for everyone

The house is dated, beds are uncomfortable. The owner gave us a hard time about our son's medical service dog. "He stated everyone says their dog is service dog"

Perfect Place in POC

This was our first time visiting POC, and the house was perfect. There was plenty of room for our boat, which is always a must. Mark was very accommodating and had an extension cord and water hose ready for our use and he even gave us a few pointers on where to find the fish! We will definitely be back!

Great place to stay

The house is nice and clean. All appliance worked. The pool looked great (although we never used it). The owner met us when arrived and gave some good suggestions. The owner is super friendly

Family Vacay

The house is in a great spot, close to the main road and stores and close to the beach. Everything was comfortable and clean. Plenty of amenities, cooking essentials, and shower needs. The deck and pool are awesome, so much fun! This was our first family vacation with 2 small kids and this house made it very enjoyable. Thanks, y'all!

Wonderful

100% accurate as to pictures, extremely clean and manager very accommodating pool was super clean and we had a relaxed and very enjoyable time. Our kids and grandkids can’t wait to go back…we were all sad to leave. If you don’t stay here your crazy!

Perfect place for our family.

The property was spotless clean. The owner lives next door and was very friendly. Everything worked as it should. Kitchen is well stocked with everything you need. Plenty of towels and linens. Backyard and pool are immaculate. We will definitely be back!

Weekend fishing getaway

We came for a quick weekend of fishing. The house was clean and loved that everything was labeled so there was no guessing what light switch to turn on, or cabinet to open. Only downside was that the pool looked a little green so the kids were disappointed, but mom and dad didn’t want to get in anyway.

Mr. Mark, Thank you for your hospitality .. we had an amazing stay and had everything we needed and some .. The home was clean and very cozy , plenty of room for our family of five ! My husband definitely enjoyed chatting with you, said he could sit and chat all day with you. Thank you for the food commendations, Bubba's and Cathy’s were both super delicious !! Wonderful Week Retreat

We highly recommend this property. We spent 4th of July week here with 4 kids (age 4-8) and our small dog. We had a great time getting away from the city and just relaxing out on the upstairs front porch sipping coffee and enjoying the POC views of breezes in palm trees. Having young kids it was great to have a fenced pool on-site with childproof latch, poolside restroom and shower for after getting sandy at the beach, and Internet TV for siesta time. Low traffic, quiet street, nice local grocery store - overall a great get-away for young families. Property owner monitored the pool and answered any questions - he was very courteous while never intrusive. We highly recommend.

Did not stay.

We did not stay at this property and I can't give a review of the property itself. Mark was very nice and called to say the pool was broken. Unfortunately we had to cancel due to personal reasons and the pool. We ended up staying at a different property for a slightly shorter stay.

STAY AWAY

Was dirty and unkept when we arrived the ac return in the ceiling was leaking and had mold on it. Tons of damage to the walls and ceiling. The front steps to the house are super unsafe basically falling apart. My brother in law had to fix the fridge as when we got there it was not keeping and of our food cold and by the next morning all of it was warm and nasty. I could go on and on but over all if you want a safe clean place to stay this is NOT IT!

I am 57 years old, I married my high school sweetheart and we have been on this adventure together for 37 years.I retired from the Austin Fire Department in September of 2017 with over 31 years of service.
I have two son that are both Firefighters, a daughter in-law that is a Dental hygienist and the mother of my two Beautiful grandchildren.
We love the outdoors and especially Port O'Connor. My favorite things to do is wade fish for Trout and Redfish in the bays and surf here in Port O'Connor.
I also enjoy Rod building. I love Texas, and the USA and believe that my family will have the opportunity to do the things I have been able to do growing up and getting older in the outdoors of Texas.
I look forward to meeting you, your family, and friends!
Remember, the difference between an ADVENTURE and an ORDEAL is YOUR state of mind !!!!! So, come have an adventure with us.
