Reel'em Inn - Adventures Start Here!

The Reel 'em Inn @ POC has been in our family for a few years now and has been through a lot. Countless card game nights, barbeque and seafood feasts in the back yard, s'mores on the fire pit and plenty of laughs by the pool and fishing stories! Come on down and stay a spell. During your stay we hope you have a shell in your pocket, sand between your toes and a fish bending your pole!
We are close to King Fisher Beach on Matagorda Bay and near boat ramps to launch your boat. Pet friendly with doggie door and fenced yard. Swimming pool with deck and outside bathroom. Fish and duck cleaning area. You can enjoy the ocean breeze and view of the ICW from the house deck or the breezy sitting area below. There is also free parking on the RV area that will accommodate large offshore boats or an RV to accommodate extra guests with electric and water hook up for extra Fee. Please read the house rules especially concerning pets, and pool.

$50.00 pet fee. Pets must be in kennel while inside, no pets in pool area.
Only booked guests are allowed in the pool. The pool may be closed for maintenance, and between Labor Day and Memorial Day.

This place was very well provisioned and supplied, clean, and welcoming to pets! The pool was lovely as was the backyard with swings, chairs and outdoor sink, counter and bathroom. Wish we had more time to enjoy it. The living area was comfortable and the bathroom is very nice. The need in the main bedroom was comfortable, but no one used the ones in the other bedroom. Great stay!

The stay was great. All the essentials were provided. We got to see the sunrise and sunset. The fenced in backyard was a huge plus for our doggies. Parking for the boat/truck and additional vehicle was also a plus. Mark, the host, was extremely welcoming and accommodating. We were maybe a half mile from Clark’s dock and close to King Fisher Beach. We will be staying here again.

I am 57 years old, I married my high school sweetheart and we have been on this adventure together for 37 years.I retired from the Austin Fire Department in September of 2017 with over 31 years of service.
I have two son that are both Firefighters, a daughter in-law that is a Dental hygienist and the mother of my two Beautiful grandchildren.
We love the outdoors and especially Port O'Connor. My favorite things to do is wade fish for Trout and Redfish in the bays and surf here in Port O'Connor.
I also enjoy Rod building. I love Texas, and the USA and believe that my family will have the opportunity to do the things I have been able to do growing up and getting older in the outdoors of Texas.
I look forward to meeting you, your family, and friends!
