Retreat Center with 6500 sq ft lodge, 12 acre lake, and beautiful mountain views
Pigeon Mountain Crossing in Northwest Georgia is a great place for you and your group to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Here on our eighty acres of beautiful woodlands, we provide comfortable facilities and ample space to explore. We offer a natural setting away from your many distractions to concentrate on your relationships, group dynamics, and just relax.
Our camp, nestled in the foothills of Pigeon Mountain near Lafayette, GA, is conveniently located 27 miles south of Chattanooga and 100 miles northwest of Atlanta. A 12-acre spring-fed lake accents our rolling wooded property adjoining the 20,000 acre Pigeon Mountain Wildlife Management Area.
At our family owned and operated nondenominational Christian camp, our mission is to provide a Christ centered atmosphere of fun, fellowship, and adventure. Our desire is for Pigeon Mountain Crossing visitors to experience the peacefulness of country life and hopefully take a little home as well.
Our rustic lakeside lodge has three spacious floors. The main level, a 2800 square foot chapel and meeting room, is a natural wood area lit by a stained glass window and fronted by a large porch overlooking the lake.
Overlooking the main level is the 720 square foot game loft, which includes pool, ping pong, air hockey, and foosball.
The dining hall and kitchen, also 2800 square feet, is located on the lake level and provides additional meeting space. (Catering also available.)
This three-story cabin consists of four bunkrooms, a third floor group room, and a private family room.
Each bunkroom sleeps 15 and includes two showers as well as two sinks and toilets.
The third floor room will comfortably sleep 10 and has its own bathroom. This room features a front porch with a beautiful mountain view.
Pigeon Mountain Crossing has plenty of room for hanging out, playing, and having a good time. The lake includes lots of fish, boating, and water play. Our football sized athletic field provides ample room for group activities. We offer a campfire ring stocked with plenty of wood for s'mores and stories. There are miles of hiking trails, an Octoball court, Volleyball, bocce, 9 hole disk golf course, and a creek to explore.

Great place for a church retreat
My church leaders enjoyed the experience. And God moves in this place!!!!!!!
The Best place!!
We are very happy and pleased with this place! Our church spent last weekend there and we had a wonderful time!
It is very clean and organized. Also, there are lots of activities for every age.
Melissa and Chuck are awesome people and made us feel very welcomed.
We're definitely coming back every year from now
A great place and great people.
We had a wonderful time, and an even better experience. The cabin, lodge and grounds are clean and the owners are great and very helpful. I would highly recommend taken your group to this very beautiful retreat. Plenty of space for activities, but not so large that you can't still have a sense of togetherness.
Beautiful Large Space
I was looking for a place to house 50 people and this place was amazing.
The sleeping cabin area holds 80 people, but most of the beds are bunks so it doesn't feel too empty if you book under. The Bathrooms were clean and there were also extra beds on the other floors. Depending on the season, there may be a lot of flies/gnats at night, so don't leave the doors open.
The main facility is great! basement kitchen is very large and has many appliances and utensils for use. There are 2 double door kitchens and a large gas grill outside. It could feed all of us! The dining hall is very large with many tables and games for smaller group activities.
The main floor is very good for large group activities/worship/announcements. There's also an upper floor that holds table games but is also open to the main floor.
The environment is very beautiful. There's a large lake with kayaks/canoes for people to use as well as an open grass field and a fire pit.
The owners are extremely nice! They reply very quickly and I even got a phone call with them. On arrival, Chuck gave me a tour of the place and met up with me at night to do extra guest payments (they allow you to give an estimate number of guests, so if you add more it's just $25 a night per guest).
I was extremely pleased with this site! The only thing i'd say is that the grass field is a little far, but it's still walk-able. I would definitely recommend for church groups, club retreats, or any large group of above maybe 30 people.
Wonderful place to stay with great staff!
My organization hosted a retreat at Pigeon Crossing, and we could not have been happier with the facility or the staff! We had plenty of room in the bunk house, and lots of activities (i.e. hiking, swimming, football, octaball) to keep our group busy. Will be booking for next year too!
The place was beautiful and Melissa and Chuck were the most amazing hosts!
